I'm so not ready for THIS moment, it's so sad it's going to an end .  

Such a brilliant story, I would never thought that I could be so attached to any BL series and be active member of the thread .

I really don't know how I'm gonna handle the last episode, don't want January to come ( sorry for being so emotional )

yokas, I agree with you completely. I'm a newbie to this forum and recently joined to be a part of the great fandom this series has inspired. I myself learned of the series by the time Episode 8 had aired. Since then, I've backtracked and watch the preceding episodes and all the others that followed. I'm now totally hooked and will be sad to see it end too.

BTW, could someone PM the links to download the english sub EP 14?

and I've been thinking about this for a while...so maybe on January 7 (or 14 wherever u want to) we can use a hashtag like #THANKYOUFORSOTUS ( and add one more hashtag like #sotuschangedmylife haha) on twitter, ig for them to see this (maybe even trend in Thailand? lol). I just wanna thank them, the producers and Bittersweet <-especially for creating sotus* for everything they have done for us...for making our lifes brigther and better, for making our hearts break several times, for making us smile and sometimes even cry, for letting us be a part of their love journey, of the whole character's journey throughout the novel/series. I wanna let them know how perfect their acting was, how amazing they represented their characters, how they brought them to life.

Prologue

The gif above is showing their lines in the EP. They would represent their true feelings towards each other. I hope these lovely young men will keep their love 'until death do them part.'

As a matter of fact, the ep 14 is really good. I was totally absorbed into it, keeping smiling. haha. Every single scene was special to me and all the lines spoken by them were also beautiful as much as their 'body' expressions. So, this time I will focus on their lines in the EP.

Love Can Not Be Hidden

 

1. Curiosity Breeds Love

‘It is called destiny.’ Kong says after talking about their first meeting. Though Arthit doesn't remember it, he seems definitely pleased with what Kongpob told him. Maybe, he also feels that they have already been linked by FATE since then. In this scene Arthit (as well as Kong) looks at his 'official' boyfriend with a more comfortable face than ever. It's like the Sun completely succeeds in his search for 'the lost light' after going through some hard days. hahaha.

In this EP, Kongpob said it twice, "You didn't ask me." the former was about Prae's sexual identity and the latter was about their first meeting. Talking of the latter, I think Kongpob has waited for Arthit to ask him if they met before or to remember the high schooler, Kong of that time. For Kong, who has always wanted to get Arhit's attention, it would be one of his wishes. Actually, if I were Arthit, I couldn't forget Kong. How dare I forget his handsome face? hahahaha.

As Kong already knew Arthit when they met in the cheer room, now I can observe Kong's diverse reactions to Arthit in the early episodes from different angles. For example, when he gets tangerines from Arthit in EP 2nd, he probably smiled that brightly, recalling the moment Arthit gave him the sweet drink when they first met. hahaha. As he knows already Arthit is not fierce at all, that's why he can say like "I think your fierce face is kind of cute." in the last scene of the EP 2nd, Oh, my!

As it was Arthit who made Kong decide to study in that field after listening to his advice and experience, Kong might have expected to meet that kind senior again. Oh, poor Kong! Anyhow, though Arthit disguised himself as a fierce head hazer, it rather seemed to stimulate Kong's curiosity and prompt him to take action. Of course, sometimes Kong's behaviors went out of line, which made Arthit fed up with him. However, all of happenings eventually led them to love each other. Wow, It was really fate from first how they met.

2. Common Couple

As the angst finished, I could watch it in relief and fascination. Of course, There were some tension and conflicts between our two leads. Being in the early stages of love, Arthit and Kong might not want to seem demanding to each other and they are not able to fully know what exactly to do for each other in the love relationship.

Anyone who has been in love at least once knows that he/she feels hurt easily by very trivial things that their loved one does to him/her. When Kong says that he wanted a son once if he had a child, Arthit looks very hurt. He even seems to think to himself, 'I can't have a baby.' Oh, my! Kong! Don't you ever say that again before Arthit!

As we all know, a very tiny thing can make the love relationship fall apart as time goes by. Not knowing each other well enough yet, both of them might feel themselves walk on a tightrope when they are together, fearing losing each other. As their relationship is a kind of secret and not stable yet, it is natural for them to feel scared.

If they were not scared or at least confident with their relationship already,

Arthit could ask Kong directly "Do you like Prae? Why are you so kind to her in front of me? huh? 0062, tell me why!" instead of "Do you think she is cute?"

If Arthit could ask like that, their dialogue afterwards might be totally different. Maybe Kong could talk to Arthit about her sexual orientation earlier, clearing up his misunderstanding.

When Arthit tells that he has her phone number,

If Kongpop asked straight back to Arthit like "Are you interested in Prae? If not, you don't need her number. let me erase it." instead of "That's good.", they wouldn't misunderstand each other.

However, we know they just start dating secretly, and they are not fully ready for their 'new' relationship at that time. In addition, 'There is no great love, without jealousy.' hahaha.

3. Matchmaker Vs. Counselor

Let's give them a big hand. we shouldn't forget these two friends who help Arthit in their own ways to 'officially' declare Kong and himself as a couple. Matchmaker Bright triggers Arthit's jealousy and Counsellor Knott soothes Arthit's nervousness.

At the outdoor canteen, Wow, not to mention Kongpob, Bright burns Arthit up by saying twice to Kong and Prae, "Is there something going on between you two?" But later on the Thank Senior Day, he unintentionally helps Arthit to announce their relationship to everybody there by asking "You are acting like.....are you two dating?" hahahaha. Oh, good job, boy! You totally deserves to have two boxes of chocolate.

And here is 'Our Warmhearted boy, Knott.' He is a genuinely good friend and good counselor for Arthit.

"You are thinking of the future that you can't see. More than the person that is right in front of you. And another thing! Your moody attitude, when you see other people with him, it's not jealousy....but......being possessive of that person."

His words strike Arthit to the core. He knows well What kind of feelings Arthit is actually obsessed with. He not only shows Arthit what to do for themselves but also encourages him to confess his real feelings to Kong that day. What a wonderful buddy he is. Arthit, You are really lucky to have those friends!

4. Love and a Cough Can Not Be Hidden

Everything they experienced in the EP only made their love stronger and their attitude to love more serious than before. Arthit is finally more honest to Kong than ever.

"Actually I don't know what the future is going to be like. But I want you to know that, right now, this minute, you are the one that I feel special towards, more than anyone else. And you are the only one that I love."

His love confession from the bottom of his heart is just beautiful. There is no dramatic hyperbole and no 'forever promise' but honest. but Kong is definitely struck with his confession. His eyes tell everything.

<I want to thank you for your smile and laugh. It changed a normal day into a special day for me. For me the only thing that is most important is P'Arthit. You are my only Sun. and I promise that it will be always like that forever.>

Wow, How ardent and passionate. I would willingly be a witness. I have seen him smile, laugh, wander, despair, and panic just because of love. Maybe, Arthit will be able to feel his love more and more as they spend time together. Hooray!!!!

I hope Arthit and Kong won't forget the night they tie up the string around each other's wrist. As life goes on, they will face a lot of obstacles before them. However, the strings will make them feel linked and remind them of being together all the time.

Think of a really fabulous holiday. You could stay forever but tonight you have to pack, and tomorrow, catch the train for the airport, bound for home.

It is always better to say goodbye when you really want to stay than remain and tire of a place.

Afterwards you will have your memories, photos and stories to tell, so your holiday endures a while longer. Life continues and unfortunately the real world retakes its hold, but every now and then you will see something somewhere that will remind you of that fabulous holiday and the memories will come flooding back, bringing a comforting warmth to your day.

The episodes have not been getting better these past few weeks. Not at all. I think the phrase we are looking for is : more enchanting.

And like a really good holiday I would like to find myself needing to purchase an extra box of tissues because the final episode will make me so happy - I'll be sad (I take after a very wise old man - my Da).

If it leaves me feeling a bit on the frail side I will be more than happy. I have said previously here. If it is that good I do not want them to concoct a sequel to make money. You can never recreate that magical moment on a holiday. The moment has gone, never to return.

I want to leave heartbroken, with a bit of dust in my eye - not tired of them.

But I am a bloke, so what do I know ?

Hello every one!!! I just started watching Sotus {hence, finally made this account} and am so heartbroken to know that only one episode is left  I have watched it thrice already and even asked a friend to watch it.

 

I'm still going through this thread as there is so much but, thank you (for the gifs and other stuffs)

 

I have two questions: 

i) What is the difference between the uncut and cut versions? like, seriously? I understand what it would be for a show like Heroine but Sotus ??  So, can anybody tell me the difference? If there are extra scenes, where can I watch it?  

 

ii) What is the 'did they, didn't they' discussion?   Cuz I didn't see anything remotely doing happening on the show so, what's it about?

Answer to question (2) is related to the bed in that scene. If you look at the bed, there's two pillows and it looks like it's been slept in on both sides, so that's why people are speculating that Arthit stayed over ;P

For one, alcohol and cigarettes are censored in the cut versions. If you're watching Delightful's subbed eps, they are uncut and there's no extra scenes to watch, I believe GMMTV uploads the uncut ver on their youtube channel as well.

Sotus doesn't have a cut and uncut version. For some reason the scene where Arthit walks into the door in episode three was different between the channel ONE release and the Line TV release, but other than that there was nothing cut.
