I did not know which forum topic to choose, because more than just school things in this post, so I just decided to post here. Here are a couple of websites and tumblr posts that will help you in studying/working/ traveling abroad.

Language

Here are a couple of tumbr posts and sites (that may be in the posts) that can help you learn a bit(or more) of the language of the country you want to go to.

http://study-ings.tumblr.com/post/122182874849/bofur-the-bro-dwarf-helpful-websites-to-learn This is a large resource for a lot of different languages.

http://etudiance.tumblr.com/post/135172541945/elkstudies-hey-ive-gathered-a-few-resources This is a more clear and less detailed version of the list above, with some random subjects in it as well.

http://lyricstraining.com/ This seems really fun and a great way to learn languages.

http://learnkoreanwithmusic.com/ This blog breaks downs lyrics of K-pop songs by phrase and word, and translates those words from straight Hangul ( no romanization of lyrics) to English. So you can learn words, pronunciation, and Hangul.

The websites/ apps I have used are Duolingo and Memrise

Working/ Volunteering/ Studying Abroad

I would advise people to go through their schools study abroad offices( if they have one) and see if you can get into a program you want or  see if you can go through another school's program and any credits that you earn can be transferred to your school.

I am not sure if most of these site are reliable, but I hope they give you an idea of things.

http://www.studyabroad.com/ I am not sure how good this site is but I think it could help you out.

http://www.vfp.org/default.aspx? Pretty much the Peace Corps but you do not have to promise like 2 years of your life.

http://susanshain.com/resources/ This is pretty much a huge master post of everything above (except language).

I hope that this helped you guys out and that you guys can get planning right away

This post will more than likely be edited and more links will be added.
