Solo Artist JOO Signs with Woollim Entertainment

Singer JOO has found a new home at Woollim Entertainment just two months after her departure from JYP Entertainment.

It has been revealed that the singer recently signed an exclusive contract with the agency. Woollim Entertainment currently hosts a number of top singers, including Infinite, Nell, and Lovelyz.

A representative of the label stated to Star News, "We believe that she has great potential, and after having a meeting with her, we came to a positive conclusion."

In 2006, JOO started training under JYP after catching the label's attention with her appearance on SBS' "Superstar Survival." She made her official debut two years later in 2008, and released her first mini album in 2011. JOO is also known for being the older sister of BTOB member Jung Il Hoon.
