This incident wouldn't have even been an issue if the television media didn't make a big deal out of it. Yes, I realize there are children but they would have never been exposed to this if the television media didn't decide to spam it all over ESPN because of a false perception that this was big news. You want to blame somebody for exposing this kind of stuff to the children? Blame television.

yea yea i get where your coming from. now thinking about it if it is true then yeah wut i say should be taking into consideration but if this whole story is a lie then yeah the media should be punished. also if you think about the media wouldnt know unless someone reported it. lets say one of the vikings player or a just regular person spotted them in public because the media doesnt know what goes behind close doors at the players house only thing the media knows is what goes on in public. so therefore if they did this in public then yeah the media is gonna jump all over it.

but i also get your point to. i also think yeah the media shouldnt be involved in the players outside football at all. if i was one of the players i would feel like my privacy has been invaded but at the same time i would feel guilty if i was on a sex boat having sex in public. so yeah i think the media should backoff a little bit to.

WTF THIS IS CRAZY....

Police: Men planned to kill Jaguars cheerleaderAssociated Press

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. -- A man who was fatally shot by police was part of a botched conspiracy with two other men to kidnap and kill a Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleader and steal her Mercedes, police said on Thursday.

Police were investigating Jamie Lee Williams, 22, who was shot and killed on the beach on Tuesday after he pointed a gun at a Jacksonville Beach police officer, when they found out about the kidnapping plot, said Neptune Beach Police Chief David Sembach.

"Had he survived, he would have been charged also," Sembach said on Thursday.

The men targeted the woman because one of them used to live in the apartment above her and knew she drove a Mercedes, with a vanity tag which read, "The Roar," which is the name of the Jaguars cheerleading squad, Sembach said.

"It is pretty cold-blooded when someone wants to kill somebody to steal their car," Sembach said.

Sembach said the plot was to drive the car to Miami and sell it.

The men were attempting to break into the woman's apartment Monday night through the window next to her air conditioning unit, Sembach said.

"They made a lot of noise, she came to investigate. She started screaming and hollering," Sembach said.

He said that scared off the burglars.

About six hours later, two Jacksonville Beach police officers responded to a disturbance and pursued Williams, who was armed with a pistol, onto the beach. After he pointed his gun at police, an officer shot him in the chest and killed him.

Sembach said officers have not determined why Williams went to Jacksonville Beach, which is just south of Neptune Beach.

Andrew Krest, 23, and James Thomas, 24, were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit kidnapping and burglary Tuesday night.

They were being held in the Duval County Jail on $100,000 bond. Their next court appearance is Nov. 2. There was no information immediately available about their legal representation.

The name of the cheerleader was withheld by police.

"We're pleased she is safe and that the police are handling this situation," said Dan Edwards, a spokesman for the Jaguars.

it's an issue when your coach says it's a problem. It's also an issue when your GOVERNOR says it's a problem. It's a problem, and for smoot to put himself in a compromising situation is just plain stupid.

I don't even care if it's true or not. Even if it's true I don't think it's that big of a deal. Grown men like to have sex. So what?

They have to say it's a problem. Why? Because the media leaked it to the public and now it sounds bad. In private though, what's the big deal? Grown men watching people having sex. Who cares? You do that at home everytime you watch porn.

ladies and gentlemen, the Vikings love boat has officially begun to sink

meanwhile, GO BEARS!

DA BEARS put a drubbing on the worst team in football. You've got a coach who scalps tickets, a qb that finds wide open players...on defense, and backups who, instead of practicing, working out, and studying to try and get a starting spot, are satisfied with playing with hookers and having bang boat parties on bye weeks. With a lazy bunch of lollygagers, what else could you expect from this bunch. It seems to me that moss wasn't the problem, maybe the problem started with Tice's attitude.

MNF

colts vs the rams.

i think its going to be the colts 17 - rams 6 simply because the colts defense is sooo good this year. they havent had any team score over 7 points yet. so i think its going to be all defense in this one.

i'm sure the D wouldn't mind catching a break...maybe peyton can give em some rest, check it, they'll be on the field more often than not so long as peyton's launching 50 yard bombs to marvin harrison

I sure hope he throws some touchdowns. I have him on my Fantasy roster, and he hasn't produced well this season (Matt Hasselback and Eli Manning each has more fantasy points than he does this season, for goodness sakes).

The Colts haven't played an offense like the Rams yet. I don't think they've played a defense like the Rams yet either. They'll score a lot more than 17 on the Rams. I expect us to put up a decent offensive show though. If the Rams win, it'll be a high scoring affair.

well thats the thing. the rams have a good defense they can defend the passing game pretty well but there running defense kinda stinks and the rams offense has been out of stink lately. simply because of the head coach is like changing. mike martz is now in the hospital and the new head coach is a linebacker coach who doesnt like to throw alot. so i think its going to be all about the running game and i believe that running game = low scoring games. thats why i think its going to be a low scoring game like the steelers were last week on MNF.
