Joo Won Reveals He Personally Recommended Shim Eun Kyung for "Tomorrow Cantabile"

On the afternoon of October 7, at a Media Day event for “Tomorrow Cantabile,” Joo Won revealed that he had personally recommended actress Shim Eun Kyung for the role of Seol Nae Il in “Tomorrow Cantabile.” “At first, when I hadn’t thought of Shim Eun Kyung, I was concerned with who could play the role of Seol Nae Il. Even if we are up all night, we’re talking and laughing.” In related news, Joo Won recently revealed in a press conference for the drama that he dropped six kilograms for his role, going from 75 to 69 kilograms. He said that after “Good Doctor” ended and he was just doing shows, he would walk in his free time, going for two or three hours, as well as lift weights. “Tomorrow Cantabile,” based off of the original Japanese work “Nodame Cantabile,” will air its first episode on October 13.
