Super Junior M Takes No.1 on Chinese Music Program for Two Weeks

Recommended Posts

On April 5, Super Junior M took No.1 on the Chinese nationwide channel CCTV’s “Global Chinese Music Standings,” with their new single, “Swing.” The group won No.1 on the Chinese music program for the first time on March 29 and again on April 5, recording two consecutive wins.

“Global Chinese Music Standings” is the first Chinese music-ranking program. The show combines the ARS voting, online voting, and music site scores collected from Monday through Friday as well as the mobile phone voting and QR code voting conducted live during the show. Super Junior was not able to accept its trophy in person due to their scheduled appearance on MBC’s “Music Core” on April 5.

In connection to their win, the members of Super Junior M commented, “We were so happy and thankful after hearing the news that we won No. 1 for two consecutive weeks with ‘Swing.’ We are sorry we could not be there to accept the trophy in person due to schedule conflict, but we would like to thank all of our Chinese fans for always supporting us and encouraging us.”
