Actress Kim Gyu Ri will be transferring agencies.

According to an entertainment insider on January 18, Kim Gyu Ri's contract with her agency is up, and she is planning to sign on with Core Contents Media.

Core Contents Media is home to girl groups T-ara, Davichi, SPEED, 5Dolls, and actors including Hwang Jung Eum, Ha Suk Jin, Lee Hae In and Son Ho Joon.

A source hinted, "Kim Gyu Ri and Core Contents Media have an unwritten agreement with one another. There is positive talk on both sides." A Core Contents Media representative also stated, "Talks are going positively, but no contract's been signed yet."

Kim Gyu Ri debuted under the name Kim Min Sun in the 1999 KBS drama "School." She's gained a solid foothold in the industry with a resume that includes both movies, such as "Memento Mori," "Portrait of a Beauty," and dramas like "Glass Slippers."

After she officially changed her name to Kim Gyu Ri in 2009, she's had roles in movies such as "Poongsan" and "Doomsday Book," and also appeared in the 2013 MBC historical drama, "God of War." She also showed off some dancing skills on MBC variety program "Dancing with the Stars" last year.

Kim Gyu Ri plays the role of a certified labor attorney in an upcoming movie, "Another Family," which will premiere on February 6.
