Joo Won Talks About Being Called a Kang Dong Won / T.O.P Look-Alike

On December 16’s episode of “Taxi,” Joo Won talked about looking like Big Bang’s T.O.P and actor Kang Dong Won, saying, “I’m sorry to their fans.”

While personally reviewing his past works, he didn’t read the part of his script that said, ‘Kang Dong Won, T.O.P look-alike.’ At this, host Kim Goo Ra asked the actor how he feels when he hears things like that. Joo Won replied, “My nickname in high school was Kang Dong Won. At the time, Kang Dong Won was hugely popular from his movie ‘Romance of Their Own’ (2004), so I got some benefit from it.” He continued, “I first heard about my looking like T.O.P when I was doing KBS’s ‘King of Baking, Kim Takgu.’ And whenever I heard something like that, I was always apologetic to their fans, wondering how exactly I look like them,” humbly denying his resemblance to the other two heartthrobs.
