Jung Joon Young Cries His Heart Out in “Ten Minutes Before Breaking Up” Teaser

Jung Joon Young, who won the hearts of many as a contestant on the fourth season of “Superstar K,” will finally make his debut!

On October 8, he unveiled a teaser for the title track “Ten Minutes Before Breaking Up” off of his debut mini album. He is in the desert looking lost and emotionally broken as he faces the canyons where a lady in red stands near the cliffs. He gets on his knees and cries his heart out, but at the end the girl is there no longer.

“Ten Minutes Before Breaking Up” is of the rock ballad genre and is the work of Score, a leading producer who also worked with artists Younha and Primary. With his direction, the song marries the band sound with Jung Joon Young’s husky voice. The sad lyrics describing a man’s perspective on the last ten minutes before breaking up is perfect for the chilly fall season.

 

Jung Joon Young will drop his album on October 10 and will hold his showcase on the same day. Fans can catch his first performance through Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”
