i did install the chinese character stuff? i tried copying and pasting stuff too? dont work? am i suppose to use a specific font?

and i tried re-installing my PS , still dont work -_-

yes, do you have chinese fonts? try download some and try. When you copy chinese text onto your graphic, it will change to any chinese that is available (it means the ones you have installed.)

The brush thing? that's weird...it's not moving? maybe a virus infected your comp..I had that before..everytime i tried to open my PS ...it just shut down...

text banner: I have no experience with this kind of banner..but I think:

You create a new image (transparent) choose a font and write you text. You can use pattern/color overlay to decorate your text. brushes work too. then save as gif.

The dots around? I think chaoticrose did with the pencil tool. You zoom in your banner and start to work. requires patience

wait, I don't get your question.

umm.. well what I do is make frames

and like umm make layers and

you make stuff invisible and make each layer show up for each frame....?

I don't know how to explain this T_T

I have no problem transferring it onto like imageready and stuff...

I'll try to make a tutorial or something over the weekend or so. haha

umm I don't think so... not that I know of.

wait... are you asking if you can capture stuff with photoshop...? if so-- no.

if not, nvm.

umm you just like resize it and get a new thing and paste it adn stuff like that i guess? or you can just use paint XD haha

^ sorry for the bad explanation.

and yes, gifs can be mades using adobe image ready.

i meant clips as a gif! sry for the misunderstanding! i wanted to learn how to put clips into a gif?

and how do u save the gifs so it wont come out all burry? i know u save it by goin to save optimize, but what else do u do to get the results of my signature?

i was wondering if this is what they call outlining? (the person with the umbrella) if so, how do you do outlining?

It's called silhouette. You'd use the pen tool and trace around the object or person and it'd create that. :D Jason says he's working on a Tutorial for it.

I like the little mouse swirl at the end when you show the finished product.

I could almost hear the 'voila!'

Nicely done, Mudds.

That was 'hella' fast.

Hope the peeps can follow your lighting quick mouse clicks.

Is there anyway of getting photoshop to save as JPG as default? If possible, quality 10.

Also, do you have a tutorial on how to setup a batch resize? I take pictures at 5mp and I want to resize them with the batch automation tool to 640x480 and say save them in a new folder resized.

A tutorial for ImageReady animating GIFs would be nice too.. but thats asking wayy too much.

Lastly, do you know wehre I can find a good tutorial on premiere? I figured out the basics but I want to learn more.

Edit: didnt want to reply to end up with just a thank you reply so I decided to edit it here. Thank you for telling me to flatten the image. I never thought it would make a difference when I just want a stupid jpg.

I have looked at those resize programs and I also have another one that also worked quite well... my challenge was to get photoshop to do it.. because you could even have it tweak certain settings automatically.

and if I ignored anyone oops

1) If you're going to start a graphic from scratch, it'd automatically have the option PSD for you to save as. But, if you open up a JPG to edit, to save it automatically as JPG again, everything must be flatten down. Layers > Flatten Layers Then you can click save and close out without going thru that. Not sure about the quality 10 though. Maybe Jason could help you more w/ this one.

2) I usually use other programs for this. Before I used a "Batch It" program, or atleast that's what I think it's called. I can't remember, so here's a list of programs that would batch everything for you. Some/All also come with a watermark stamper, which you could stamp your name on them so no one else would take them.

http://www.download.com/Batch-It-Ultra/300...tml?tag=tab_pub

http://www.download.com/Batch-It-/3000-220...tml?tag=tab_pub

3) Tutorial on Image Ready Animations...One day.....one day...haha I'll start on one. It'd probably be video again because *lazy*. =p haha but if you guys prefer word tutorial, I can do that too.

4) Err, I used to work with this program too but I only know basics as well. I don't know if you've googled anything, but if you haven't, here's some sites for tutorials.
