My first time writing a icon tut...or coloring tut..so i hope I can make this clear.

I open my picture:

http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/7808/yunho2jq0.jpg

Credits to soompi korean celeb photos

I randomly crop it any way I desire

TA DAH!MY BASE:

1)make a new layer and fill with #fdc489, and orangey color, and set it on color burn

I end up with this:

2)Duplicate the oringal layer(with Uknow)

drag it to the top, and set it as screen with opacity:70%

3)Make a new Adjustment layer by clicking that half white and half black icon on the bottom of your layers window and going u to new selctive layer

Settings:Relative:

-Red:

C:72

M:0

Y:24

B:17

-Neutrals:

C:-37

M:+2

Y:+16

B:-34

4)Make a new Brigthness/Contrast adjustment layer

Settings:

Brightness:-94

Contrast:-30

5)Make a new Levels Adjustment layer

with these settings:

6)Merge visible(Layer>Merge Visible)

7)Duplicate that layer

8)set it to Screen:46%

9)Make a new color balance adjusment layer

settings:

10) here comes the hard part

make a new layer fill it with #79ccc9 and set it to lighten

Select the entire layer(Select>All)

and then Edit>Copy Merged

then paste your new layer(Ctrl+V)

delete the solid color layer from the beginning on this step

Set the merged layer on Color burn

11)ok, now the hard part is over

Paste the texture below and set blend mode to Darken

http://i16.tinypic.com/6cwz89d.jpg

^Credits: to autoplay I belive..coreect me if I am wrong.

use the eraser tool to erase the texture parts cover Uknow's face

So Far:

12)Pasted this texture on Lighten 100%

^credits to myself

13)

I put this layer on screen mode:100%

texture credits to myself

So far:

14)

I paste the texture below and set blend mode to screen 100%

^forgot where I got this texture.if somebody knows..please tell me so I can give proper credit

15)and then add some text wand add a tiny text brush..and..TA DAH!

^Sorry, the seult wasnt exactl like my other one becuase I deleted the psd..T.T

hope its clear enough

THANKS SO MUCH! i'll try it now...ur tutorial very clear, THANKS

You can look the first post for indx of tutorial.

Now I don't know how the makeup really looks like, so if you post a pic, maybe I can write a simple tutorial to improve it for you.

^Those bandages are from the Cyworld photo editor.

Otherwise, you make them yourself with your shape tool (round edges).

If you give the specifics (example), I could make a little gif/psd and you could use it and paste it in. ;D

This is gotten to be the MOST RETARDED QUESTION IN THE ENTIRE WORLD...

But I just got PS a few days ago, and I'm playing with it right now. My question is...How do you open up more than one photo at a time and then make it into project? As in, I want to blend them and make it into a wallpaper.

I tried dragging the photos into the new, blank project, but the two photos open up as their own little projects...

I know it's a basic question, so help is greatly appreciated!

Open them in photoshop(Ctrl+o)

and create a New canvas(Ctrl+N or File>New)

then drag the pictures from there to the new canvas

PLay around with effects and such.

This is what i usually do:

1. Open up image

2. Duplicate image once or twice (depending on image) or just press CTRL+J

3. Click on the first duplicated layer and set it to Screen

4. Click on the 2nd duplicated layer aka the one on the top and set it to overlay

5. Then go to Fliter > Blur > Smart Blur (Leave it on defult) and press okay

The End.

You can play around with effects and layers and such!

The lighting is professional, I'm sure.

Buutt, Kathy did give a lot of help. ;DD If you want to play with lighting, go to: Filter >> Render >> Lighting Effects.

It's not always the best but definitely a good gradient for lighting. ;DDD

Other than that, opening up your image and making it smaller always works for me in making it HQ. It just depends if the photo you've taken is blurry or not because if it is, then it won't be so great. ;D Take clearer picture.
