I have been missing from this thread lately. Just got back from a very long vacation. I just want to thank everyone who has visited the jongyeon.wordpress.com. We try as much as we can to update it with everything jongyeon.  But as more and more news, interviews, photos and videos of Gong Seungyeon are coming out, I just felt that they deserve their own place. Without further ado, on behalf of the GSY blog team, let me present....

Is it just me or does anyone else believe that JH & SY have possibly talked to each other about "kissing" on the show? I just feel like after missing the kiss at the ball game, I can see JH taking her aside and saying, "Sorry about that, I really didn't want to kiss you in the stadium with that many people around. I'm not exactly sure what will happen with my fans or how they will react." You know, logical conversations about choices and consequences. Her statement at the stadium about, "Look at the atmosphere tells me she is thinking about it too.  

I imagine Jongyeon have definitely spoken about fan reactions... Seeing how conscientious both JH and SY have been about not posting each other's pictures on Instagram, when there have been plenty of opportunities to, I imagine there must have been some discussion. I don't think the two have exchanged Instagram messages publicly since ~April? -- Outside of just "liking" each other's posts. Both have also been very low-key about mentioning each other in public -- unless the interviewer specifically asks about WGM/ideal type, the other's name rarely comes up, so I'd guess they've discussed wanting to keep things as quiet as possible.

But even if they're considerate of fans/netizen backlash, I imagine they've spoken of kissing and other skinship/displays of affection on the show -- WGM the reality show is like their safe zone, it's an alternate reality where they can enjoy their romance and use the excuse that it's just a "TV show"  

 

As for the logistics of a potential kiss -- the when and where of it all -- I'd guess JH is too "Busan man of action" to verbally discuss such things. Similarly, unless SY brought up missing the opportunity after the beer contest at the baseball game, I imagine JH wouldn't excuse himself for the misstep, regardless of the atmosphere/environment -- he'll apologize with his actions instead, whether it be through a kiss or doing something else to show how much he cares 

SY definitely seems more than ready for a potential kiss -- recall in Busan, after the kiss on the forehead, she lingers and looks up, almost beckoning for something further... Then after looking up, SY continues to linger with her head on JH's shoulders (she was free and had plenty of opportunity to turn away), even after the second kiss

Just a matter of timing at this point, I'm sure they would have kissed by now, had Jongyeon continued to meet frequently -- the long gap between filming dates is probably the only thing preventing things

This 2nd neck kiss is my favorite. Now he knows it's coming and he leans into it. If you've ever been neck kissed by someone and you know one is coming you lean your face into it to "hug" theirs with your own. ADORE this  

This one is another favorite. When there is all kinds of activity happening around them, SY is caring about all the water on JH's face and how he looks. Her hand under his chin looks very gentle and it didn't take much for him to turn and look at her. This is extremely close to a BTS gif ...it's so unorganized in the background and everyone is doing their own thing waiting for the next event... it's PERFECT!

Is the plan to not post SY's interviews (whether WGM-related or not) on the Jongyeon Wordpress, or how will the team handle overlapping content?

Thanks to the team for all the work of both content and design -- definitely makes finding older content so much easier than searching through the Soompi forum archives!

Well put   I've always kept myself from getting onboard a ship so this spazzing biz is relatively new to me.  I always try not think about what happens when the camera stops rolling but I just cannot get enough of these two! I've no idea what, how and where this ride will take me, but I'm just glad to have found a place where spazzing with reckless abandon is welcomed.

When there is a will, there is a way! 

I think one cannot really control how you feel about a person. But currently it is clear that they give each other strength and happiness. As long as they continue with how they are now and treat each other well, that is already a great foundation.

I liked how they wrote each other's vows. Although this is not a real marriage, they did highlighted all the points that was important to them. It was funny how serious JH was about getting into shape and exposing his sexy back. I guess his future goal is to take SY to some kind of water sport so he can do that?

I completely agreed with you. After their trip in Japan, they did not see each other for a while too, but they got a long so well. The initial meeting was a bit awkward at the airport, but I think it was because JH was surprised. So I think they must communicate a lot behind the scene. No matter how well they get a long on screen, I doubt they can form such strong rapport by only contacting during WGM filming. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually met up off screen too.
