First let me wish the Hongmina Niconico Community a belated happy 2nd anniversary.  Seeing their video and noting that we ourselves are into our 2nd tread as Hongki and Mina shippers made me stop and think about the why of this.  I starting shipping this couple just over 2 years ago when I stumbled on the show Global We Got Married.  Why I watch the show and them that first time is a mystery to me.  I don’t like reality shows and had never heard of any of the people involved with the GWGM. Still the cocky but shy rocker idol and the quiet shy beauty stole my heart and from day one I was hooked.  Watching their love story unfold reminded me of my own love story and seeing the real in the reality show kept me coming back for more.  I stumbled onto this thread looking for more information and here I found others who were just as in love with Hongki and Mina and their love story as I was.  The first time I posted something it was because I noticed something and just has to share it with other.  Then it became an obsession.  I waited for news of the next episode and news about how their story would end.  The day the last episode came out I was at work and told co workers I had something very important to check then I hided in a corner with my laptop and watch the end with tears in my eyes;  I though on that day that it was over the obsession the romance and all the close friends I had found here.  That’s what I though.  But here it is 2 years later and I am still here still as in love with them both as I was at the beginning, still one of their biggest fans.  During these two years I have had my ups and downs and even at times my doubts.  But one thing still rings true for me.  Both Hongki and Mina are talented people who care about their fans. I believe that what I saw unfold before my eyes on that show may have started out like a reel fairy tale but in the end it was more than just a show.  For me, for them and for millions of others it became a real love story and it’s that real that warms my heart even today.  Having said this it is not the happy in the ending of a fairy tale that is hard to believe in but the ever after that takes work.  So it is with shipping a couple like Hongki and Mina. When the show was on it was easy to see their love easy to get caught up in the moment.

But shipping a couple like them is not easy.  In their world relationships between star on their level are not always supported by fans,  we have seen that here so we have had to watch for signs and weather the storms that rumors have caused.  We have had our share of people who called us names and said we were delusional.  Still here I have found friends, here I have met talented people from all over the world who shared their talents and let me share mine. I have fallen in love with the music that Hongki makes.  I have had the pleasure of seeing him perform live..  I have read Mina’s articles and love her insight and thoughts. Both Hongki and MIna have recognized our efforts on their behalf and thanked us for it,  So for me while the ever after is hard work I know for a fact that  it is real and it’s the real that I still believe in.   So like the Hongmina Niconico Community, I am starting my third year with this simple fact, I still believe!

@hannaj  thank you for sharing this with us. It's not often that we get to hear HK singing a duo with someone so this is a treat. All I can say is that it was nice to wake up this am and hear this duet.  It's not my usual morning music but on the other hand hearing HK's voice, I loved it. For me his voice will always touch my heart; ballad or not. Thank you.
