Jo Jin-woong, Seo Kang-joon, Lee Gwang-soo, Park Jeong-min-I and Lee Dong-hwi have come together. Speculations of whether or not they would make a good team washed away after they displayed 'bromance' at the premiere of the drama.

The premiere was held on the 25th in Seoul. Director Jang Yeong-woo, writers Seo Jae-won and Kwon So-ra, and the cast Jo Jin-woong, Seo Kang-joon, Lee Gwang-soo and Park Jeong-min-I were there.

The premiere started with highlights from the drama and led to photo time. Unlike usual premieres where individual pictures are taken before group pictures, the team took only group pictures to show their 'bromance'. The cast were energetic and bright wearing 'hip hop' style necklaces with the words 'Entourage' on them.

Questions and answers were exchanged soon after. Jo Jin-woong started off with his self introduction.

"Entourage Korea" reflects on the daily lives of actor Yeong-bin (Seo Kang-joon) who is a rising star and his friends, Ho-jin (Park Jeong-min-I), Joon (Lee Gwang-soo), Turtle (Lee Dong-hwi) and his management agency director Eun-gap (Jo Jin-woong). The drama has been pre-produced and it is mostly based in the entertainment showbiz.

Lee Gwang-soo said, "We are all different characters and I'm sure there are people who are like every single character. We had interviews with the producer and writer before making the drama and we used one of the happenings in the drama for real. We added conversations from dinner times into the drama".

Park Jeong-min-I who is a manager said, "I was cranky at my manager so I would like to say sorry first. I will try not to do that anymore. I love my manager and I will treat him well".

Lee Dong-hwi said, "I wonder if there really is a star named Cha Yeong-bin and Cha Joon. I might have really acted like 'Turtle'. I have no recollection of having been a turtle ever so it was hard to be one".

Seo Kang-joon said, "I admired the way Yeong-bin was so subjective in what he wants to do. I admire Yeong-bin".

Jo Jin-woong said, "I realized a lot of things while acting as the director of a management agency. There was a time when I was denied a role in a movie and my director comforted me. That emotion melted into my role and now I realize why he said what he said".

Park Jeong-min-I claimed he went to work even though he didn't have work to do because he wanted to see everyone on set.

Producer Jang Yeong-woo said, "This is the first time I enjoyed filming something so much. It was agony when it was over. I hope everyone enjoys the drama".

Seo Kang Jun and the other 'Entourage' actors discussed which roles they wanted in the future during their chat session through the 'V' app on October 25. 

 

Seo Kang Jun started off with, "I want to try playing a vampire," and Lee Dong Hwi jumped in with his witty comment, "I want to also play a vampire. One that only goes looking for turtlenecks."

 

Lee Kwang Soo chimed in with, "I want to try an antagonist. I want to try being an extremely dislikable vampire."  Park Jung Min said, "I'll play the person who hunts down the vampire."

Seo Kang Jun reveals how similar he is to his character in 'Entourage'

 

During the press conference for 'Entourage' on October 25, Seo Kang Jun delved into his personality.

 

Regarding his character, Cha Young Bin, who is the hottest actor of his time, Seo Kang Jun said, "I think there were some similarities between my actual personality and Cha Young Bin's personality. In real life, I'm also extremely indecisive when I have to make my mind up about something. As expected, Youngbin doesn't take charge but has a tendency to work with the people around him when it comes to minor stuff. You could say that he's courteous to others. However, when it comes to ambition for his acting, he insists on being in charge.  We're similar in those aspects."

 

He also talked about how chemistry and teamwork were very important in this drama, so the actors got a lot closer while engaging in filming. "When we were filming, it was so fun and I really felt comfortable, like we were friends," he said. 

 

The drama starts on November 4!

Seo Kang-joon talks about life before fame

Seo Kang-joon recently shot a pictorial for the special 24th anniversary November issue of fashion magazine Elle.

During the interview with Elle, the actor talked about what his life is like now that he is famous.

Seo said, “My life hasn‘t changed that much after I debuted, except for people recognizing me. When I wear a mask in public, so I don’t bother people around me, I feel like I‘ve disappeared.”

Concerning his recent birthday, Seo said, “I often get involved in many things because I tell myself that it’s okay to make mistakes because I’m still young. Of course, there were many mistakes. But through those mistakes I was able to learn.”

Seo recognized that he only has so much time to play the roles that he wants. “I don‘t want to be greedy, I just want to act in roles that fit my age. For example, lively and youthful roles about growing up. Now is the only time I can play those roles,” said Seo.

Seo Kang Jun reveals why he chose to be in 'Entourage'

Seo Kang Jun talked about his character, Cha Young Bin, in 'Entourage' on October 28 through tvN's 'Entourage - The Beginning.'

 

He explained why he chose the drama with, "I'm also someone who is active in the entertainment agency and dreamt of being an actor.  I could empathize with stuff, like the process of relieving conflict, and there are lots of parts that could be resolved, so I thought it'd be fun.  

 

"Cha Young Bin is extremely cool and carefree; he may come off in the beginning as someone who only looks ahead and enjoys doing that, but he's a character who is very much in charge when it comes to his own work, acting, and productions. I could understand his concerns and feelings regarding acting."

Regarding turning 24 recently, the actor stated, "I personally bumped into this and that with the thought that it's okay because I'm still young.  Of course I also made a lot of mistakes.  However, I'm grasping my balance through this mistakes.  I want to take on a lot of roles that suit my age right now without being ambitious.  For example, a youthful character who is refreshing and going through growth.  I can't do that any other time."

Ahead of the premiere of tvN’s “Entourage,” Seo Kang Joon has participated in a new photoshoot.

Celebrating their 24th anniversary, Elle magazine’s November issue features the charming Seo Kang Joon, who portrays top star Cha Young Bin in “Entourage,” looking relaxed and pensive in his shots.

The pictorial was held in a quiet neighborhood on a Sunday morning, where Seo Kang Joon is at ease, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and even leisurely strolling through the alleys between shoots.

In an interview, the actor says, “Besides people recognizing me, not much has changed since my debut. To avoid causing harm to other people, I wear masks in public places, and it feels like I disappear.”
