1. The trial’s settlement papers suddenly got viewable today. There are up to 10 settlement terms. Sections 3,4,6 are restricted for viewing (i.e. public can’t view what is written).

2. The cross-validation of JYJ’s exclusive contract, made between Company C and Company A on H22.02.26 (Feb 26, 2010 in Roman calendar)has been completed. (Note: It was not written in the document when it has been terminated. This is important, I think)

3. On the rights of works by artists’ activities in Japan that took place before the settlement approval,in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 and 8 of the exclusive contract – any legal action/dispute by Company C and A will not take place anymore. (The contents of these paragraphs in the exclusive contract can’t be verified because it is restricted)

4. Company A & C shall not disclose to any third party, regardless of circumstances leading up to the settlement, any settlement terms, litigation articles (both written and oral), and any evidence. (Hence, the viewing restriction)

5. Company A to consent on the contents of the announcement/press release of Company C that will be posted on their homepage. (No announcement has been made yet)

6. Costs of litigation will be shouldered by both companies. The contents of the record of settlement is over.

7. The settlement document will be archived. If instructions will not be followed, the company can petition for enforcement.

Ruby’s note: Basically, the settlement document is completed. However, there are sections that are not available for public viewing. Both companies can not disclose the full settlement terms because this will be a violation of the agreement. C-JeS will release a statement via their website.

Japan Court documents are available for public viewing so fans can come to court and verify.

#Park Yuchun – doing a good movie, also doing a good drama

For Park Yuchun it seems that it’s time to remove the description ‘idol-turned-’ in front of his name now.

Park Yuchun will present new projects at the same time on the big screen and television for 2014. Currently he is filming for the movie ‘Sea Fog’(directed by Shim Sung-bo) that’s produced by director Bong Joon-ho. Park Yuchun is demonstrating his existence among Kim Yoon Seok, Moon Sung Geun, and other distinguished senior actors.

A movie representative said, “Director Bong Joon-ho and the screenwriter of ‘Memories of Murder’ director Shim Sung-bo are the ones with their precise and fastidious reputations who have the good eye for an actor. They chose Park Yuchun, whose evaluated high value is still unexpressed as an actor”.

Park Yuchun will finish filming for ‘Sea Fog’ in late January and launch into filming for SBS new Wed-Thurs mini-series ‘Three Days’. Having written ‘Sign’ and ‘Ghost’ and such, named as the Korean genre’s best is writer Kim Eun Hee who had chosen Park Shin Yang and So Ji Sub and now Park Yuchun.

In ‘Three Days’ Park Yuchun will ranks alongside Son Hyun Joo, Yoon Je Moon and other elite actors. A representative for ‘Three Days’ stated, “Park Yuchun showed enthusiasm toward receiving the same training as the real Blue House security service. His filmography will be filled with an abundant of major projects”.

JYJ member Kim Jaejoong posted the 10th anniversary confirmation shot taken with his members that is drawing attention.

On December 28, Kim Jaejoong tweeted the shape of a star “☆” and shared a picture without saying anything through his Twitter.

What’s attracting attention is in the revealed picture JYJ members Junsu, Yuchun, Jaejoong are all seated and gathered together, the three and what’s written “Congrats, on 10 years Jaejoong, Yuchun, Junsu. Sincere congratulations for your 10th anniversary” that is drawing attention.

Previously on December 25, Kim Junsu also had post on his Twitter “For 10 years I’ve walked with Yuchunnie and Jaejoong-hyung, and the fans’ love..I’ll work even harder in the future to repay, even for a bit, this immense love that can’t be compared to anything else” to celebrate [their 10th anniversary].

The year began with the news (January 18, 2013) that the Japanese courts have ruled in FAVOR of JYJ and CJES. AVEX (prior company in Japan) has to pay 7.8 million KRW to CJES (JYJ agency) and in addition, pay 1.1 million KRW to CJES CEO (a punishment for defaming CJES CEO).
Essentially, JYJ is now free to resume it's activities in Japan...But...AVEX appealed.

As we all know...JYJ is still not truly free to promote and do activities in Japan. They are supposed to be but there are still 'invisible' blocks along the way.But at least, they can hold concerts and sell the albums and show their dramas...Promotion may still be lacking but JYJ remains popular in Japan no matter what.And fans have been so loyal and supportive that anything JYJ touches is Golden in Japan.
We have learned recently that CJES/JYJ and AVEX have finally settled the case...But details have been under wraps (as I am writing this)...Stay tuned...
Kim Jaejoong started his Your My & Mine fanmeeting and mini concerts in January 2013 as well and he was asked by reporters (knowing how popular he is in Japan) if he's going to hold a fm/mini con in Japan now that he can...He said that he would rather have JYJ come back as a trio first, knowing that fans have been waiting for all three of them...
Sure enough, "The JYJ Return to Tokyo Dome" concerts were announced shortly after that!!!But more on this epic comeback later on...

In February 20, 2013, JYJ was appointed as honorary ambassadors for the 2014 Incheon Asiad Games. JYJ is to help promote the Games through appearances and music video throughout Asia.

And at long last, we get to hear a new JYJ song (albeit a sports event anthem...but we will take it!)."Only One"The song and lyrics are meant to inspire the Asian Games athletes and all the supporters...But the lyrics are very appropriate for JYJ  and all JYJ fans as well...

Yes...we all know SoMeonE was behind all this unfairness and 'closed doors' towards JYJ...The government has found SM and others guilty back in July 2013 and yet, we are still not seeing JYJ on broadcast TV...JJ was shown when he performed in the Arirang event but no music or variety show promotions at all...Junsu was not invited on Radio Star TV program to promote December (the Director and a lead actress were there along with another actor who performs Junsu's role when Junsu is not performing)...still blatant blockage going on...

This audio/video was released by JYJ (July 2013) after the KFTC verdict...They are appreciative of the fans for standing by them all these trying years...

Not complete but important events are highlighted...JYJ promised a JYJ album in 2013 which never came...But I can understand that schedules are conflicting at times and I would rather have JYJ complete a great album rather than a 'throw away' album just because the fans want the album now.But I enjoyed all the JYJ moments...from the fun CFs to the movie premiere appearances to the IAG performances to the new song to the Jaestagram appearances to the epic 'Return of The JYJ  in Tokyo Dome' concerts...
Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu were busy with individual activities this year as well.I love that they do what they do. I love their individual stuff...They grow in talent and confidence and knowledge as they go along...I believe that JYJ will be together forever. If for no other reason than because they love their fans so much...

Each member may do their individual activities throughout the year but they will always get together for some events and make albums and do concerts in the coming years...
A lot of the 'cookie cutter' Kpop groups and acts do 'comebacks' like every six months or in less than a year...What are they coming back for? Were they even away? Were they even missed? These 'comebacks' are not really comebacks...no quality to these works as well...


Frankly, I do not want a JYJ album every year...I am ok with a great album every 2-3 years with a thorough WORLD TOUR!!! LOL
I want to see Yoochun in dramas and movies.I want to see Junsu in musicals and his smexy dance moves in his concerts.I want to see Jaejoong being his sexy rock star self and acting too... And he already sang without a shirt on, who knows, maybe no pants later on...just sayin' and hopin'...lol
JYJ have accomplished so much in the last ten years and they are not done...In some ways, they have just begun...
Jaejoong has said (about the song 9+1#) that he is happy with what he has accomplished in the first nine years of his career...and has learned a lot (good and bad). He remembered trying and working so hard when he first started as an entertainer. And that he would do anything because he wanted to succeed...So plus "1" is like starting from the beginning again because he wants to think that he has started from nothing again and feel the hunger and the fight and the drive to be better and moving forward and reach for even higher ("#" sharp note means a key higher on the piano)...
Because they are that talented, JYJ has to move forward and reinvent themselves a little bit in order to keep growing and continue to improve and always be 'better than before'.

Ready to kick off another project, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun and the cast of SBS’s new drama, Three Days recently held a script reading.

On December 30, SBS unveiled still cuts from the script reading session, showing Park Yoo Chun, Son Hyun Joo, Park Ha Sun, So E Hyun, Yoon Jae Moon, and other talented actors, raising the anticipation bar for the drama.

The session took place in November with the talented cast and staff meeting each other for the first time. Despite that fact, everyone appeared in good spirits, exchanging jokes and light conversation, starting the drama on the right foot.

The first shooting for Three Days took December 26. The drama will broadcast in February.

Meanwhile, Park Yoo Chun will appear at the 2013 SBS Drama Awards as a presenter on December 31.
