yukino78
Okay, I just realized there's a thread for the SOUTH...I noticed nothing much is going on. I do love to keep up with the Festivals all year round and I'll be happy to post information here. I even volunteer sometimes! It's fun...I gotta meet lots of new peeps. So bear with me as I update this first post with information of coming up events and places to visit. It might not be all of it, but just some places that I've been to and stuff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ December 2012 Festival Festival of Lights @ the Moody Gardens, Galveston TexasNovember 10, 2012 - January 5, 2013 (weekends only)Hours: 6-10 pmAdmission: $6.95http://www.moodygardens.com/seasonal_fun/festival_of_lights/https://www.facebook.com/moodygardens?ref=tsTwitter: @Moody_Gardens Zoolights @ The Houston Zoo Midtown ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Work in Progress ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2012 FestivalsKorean Festival HoustonNovember 3 - Saturday10am - 7 pm@ Discovery Green DowntownSpecial Guest Kim Tae Woo from the K-pop Group G.O.D.http://www.koreanfestivalhouston.com/https://www.facebook.com/kfesthoustonhttp://www.youtube.com/user/KASHoustonTwitter: @KASHouston The Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market @ Reliant Center November 8-11, 2012 Thursday & Friday 10a - 9p Saturday & Sunday 10a - 6p http://www.houstonballet.org/Nutcracker_Market/Nutcracker_Market_Admission/ https://www.facebook.com/NutcrackerMarketTexas Renaissance FestivalThis one will go all the way till 11.25.12Here's the link below for more information:http://texrenfest.com/Dickens on the Strand 12.01 -12.02.201210 am - 6 pmhttp://www.galvestonhistory.org/Dickens_Overview.aspComing Soon:2013 FestivalChinese New Year/Lunar New Year Festival: 2013 Year of the Water SnakeFree AdmissionSaturday & SundayFebruary 16 & 17, 2013Noon – DuskViet Hoa Center @ Beltway Plaza8388 W.
