linh, thanks for the vid Hye Sun composed this song way before BOF isn`t it?? the lyrics is very meaningful & the song is full of emotions you could feel it comes right from actual experience though it says that there`s no regrets for all the pains, hurts & resentment gone through..i know with Hye Sun`s past love experience, she has learned a lot though i couldn`t say that it made her a stronger & better person yet from her own free & stronger will to start & continue her life, she has somewhat won over that battle within herself that`s why i respect how she`s trying to be careful on how to step into another relationship this time..you could feel that she values every relationship so sacred & sincere & sees through it in a long-term basis & not just with plain & shallow intentions & reasons..found Hye Sun`s remarkable lines about love during last year`s Star Interview @ sue (hope i could locate the page where i exactly got these though i have found shorter ones from a blog site)..with these, i understand her better how she regards love matters..

GHS : I really dream a lot. My ideal man has changed over the years. When I was young, I only wanted to meet a good-looking man. Then, his personality became more important, then his ability to understand me.

Even if we have meals together, I sometimes would like someone who will take care of me and be considerate of me. I was betrayed and had to end the relationship after 4 years (again, this is long before BOF since upon accepting it, she`s very much single right?? 4 yrs. is no joke btw) ..He had an affair so we ended the relationship. To be honest, I was happy with him even to the point of our good-bye. That is why it was very difficult for me back then. So now, I really want someone who can be faithful to me. Love changes. Actually people change with time. Reality is that there always comes a time when two people no longer love each other. For me, I want to meet someone who want to develop our relationship together, someone who is willing to compromise and who is willing to look at many sides not just his point of view. Of course, I also need to manage myself well. I just don't want one-way relationship.

After the relationship starts and he becomes my person, respect for each other may drop and we may give each other more warnings and advices. The situation develops where 100% understanding becomes difficult. Instead of just one person understanding the situation, I feel the need for compromise. If he is an amazing person, even better. I have lots of fantasies about marriage..

SHINee, f(x), and more for Hallyu Event in Japan

The old guard of the Hallyu movement (Korean Wave) including Bae Yong Joon, Lee Byung Hun, and Song Seung Hun have been very successful in Japan. The old guard is very popular with the older women in Japan, mainly housewives… However the wave hasn’t really resonated with the younger demographic in Japan. There’s TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki and Big Bang but their integration is more on the lines of blending in and being J-pop artists rather than relying on Hallyu.

To catch this lucrative market more entertainment companies in Korea are holding various events in Japan. To further capitalize on this, here’s an event that should get the teenagers excited. In April, SM Entertainment groups SHINee and f(x), Boys Over Flowers stars Kim Bum and Goo Hye Sun, along with T-Max will get together in Yokohama for two events targeted at the new generation. The first event is titled New Generation – Live in Yokohama - and will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Hall on April 24th. The second event is titled Boys Over Flowers Last Event – Graduation - and will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Hall on April 25th.

You know what? Come to think of it, I remember GHS looking that way, wearing that exact hoodie on her birthday party at the Cafe Manolin on November 9th, 2009! Do you all see it too? I see that siidudul sees what I see. Perhaps before or after her party with the fans, she hung out with the Magic peoople??!!! I remember she told the fans that she had plans with friends and family after the party. I am just reposting the first pix as it makes sense to do so. Also, if it is still possible to vote for the best CF couple below, #4 is GHS and Rain/Bi for Tous Les Jours CF, as indicated already by smdrma, and #9 is Yoon Sang Hyun and GHS for Danahan CF. Hey, is that PD Jo also appearing in the Magic movie as what looks like one of the judges? Director Goo appears in the movie so why not the other directors, right?

Pink fairy is correct in that the background of the minihompy page is based on Pure Heart of 19.

The statements all around the page are some of the things and the ways GookHwa used to express her mind. It is hard to translate without losing the richness of her accent and the way Gookhwa used to put her thoughts together.

For example, normally, we would say, "I am fine so you don't have to worry about me.'

Goohwa would say, (under the pix of the girl in braids) "No work to be done. So, turn off your brain." Do you see the richness of her speech?

Supposedly, GHS personally thought of the way to speak Gookhwa's language herself when she auditioned for the part.(source: MTV Girls On Top interview in 2007). Now we can see how she got that major role!

Of course I cannot translate the richness of the accent that goes along with the way she puts words together.

Those who understand even a little bit of Korean would know what I mean.

Just one more: Gookhwa initially used to put ShilJang-nim Yoon Hoo down (the head of the office or the Iceman or her love interest) for showing too much unwanted attention to her: In normal language, most would have said, "Please go back to where you came from and do what you need to do. Just leave me alone."

Gookhwa's statment: first of all, Gookhwa had a nickname for Yoonhoo which was JJik-jjik-gae (I forget what it meant--must be some kind of a fish or a worm that lives in water).

Gookhwa would say: "jjik-jjik-gae should go back to his water and swim. Why is he ?shi ddeuk dae ni? (I am thinking it means he is causing commotion where he does not belong since Gookhwa always saw the class and cultural barrier between them.) Just stop coming over to make my thinking brain hurt!" (I remember Gookhwa's letters to her aunt in Yanbin were also so well written in such rich way.)
