Ha Ji Won spread happiness with her happy-go-lucky expressions, making a 180 degree transformation from her serious role on 'Empress Qi' through a pictorial for women's casual brand 'Crocodile Ladies'!

The actress gave a breath of fresh air for 'Crocodile Ladies' 'Always Smile' campaign in cool and fresh one-pieces which are the focal point of the brand's 2014 S/S collection. It was even more refreshing for fans to see Ha Ji Won out of her hanbok for 'Empress Qi' and donning flirty dresses that she kept smiling in. 

The brand's director Bae Sung Ho stated, "More than anything else, through the cool and light one-pieces that you can wear, you don't have to sacrifice style for comfort even during the hot summer."

What role do you think Ha Ji Won will take or already took for her Hollywood debut? A blockbuster or something different? Action, Drama, Comedy, Romance or Thriller? Will she play an asian stereotype or she will be the exeption to the rule? What kind of role you wish she will take?

That's a very good question
I don't know what she would star in but since the president of Fox (I think, was it him?)  watched EK first ep and complemented her alot for her portrayal. I think it might have to do with the adventure genre and maybe drama with it too
As for what I want her to act in ....
I wish she would stay away from any kind of chic flicks first of all (not a fan of chic flicks)
I wouldn't want her to star in action movies like all action ones with cars exploding, guns firing everywhere (not my cup of tea).....
but more like the genre of Adventure, Drama, Fantasy or Adventure, Drama, Comedy

I think Ha Ji Won chose an action movie, because she loves this genre, probably a blockbuster considering her recent meetings with Joffrey Godsick and Jon Landau, but i don't know. I hope for her to not be trapped in stereotypical roles. The fact that she already turned down 3 Hollywood offers and is waiting all this time to choose a project makes me think that she wants to do something good and not some small, stupid role. I wish for her a good start, like with her first korean movie, Truth Game, it wasn't a box office but it was critically acclaimed and she gained a lot of attention and also a big recognition like the Grand Bell.
I wish she choose a good director and screenwriter that are the most important to do a good movie. You can have the best actress in the world but if you have a bad director or screenwriter the quality of the project is doomed.

I like drama, psichological thriller and comedy the most, but i don't dislike other generes, there are bad and good in every genre, there are some good action movie and some bad action movie, like bad or good dramas, comedy and ect. I would like to see Ha Ji Won also in a good action thriller, even if action is not my favorite genre, i just love her action scenes and she loves to do it too.

Ever since I heard about her Hollywood debut I've been wishing she'll do a film with Leonardo DiCaprio, he's the same age as Joo Jin Mo and he's got a great resume under him.

I was hoping they'll do a movie together, part romance part action.

Here's how my plot goes...(i've thought about this for so long and wanted to write a fanfic about it but...got lazy.)

The movie opens with Leo and HJW are both agents for Interpol working on a large drug ring with terrorist association, they are in the middle of a raid and are waiting for the enemy to appear. HJW takes out a ring box and gives it to Leo, tells him to open it when he see's her next.

The place erupts in gun fire when the enemies arrive, in one of their stand offs with The Big Man (TBM) HJW turns her gun on him and shoots him down along with her other teammates. Their relationship flashes before his eyes and he ask her 'why' before succumbing to injuries and faints. Leo survives the wound but is devastated that she had betrayed him, he vows to hunt her down. He is told HJW is a North Korean spy that had deserted and now joined TBM and his crew. He takes out the ring box and opens it, inside a simple silver band, he remembers her words to only open it when he see's her next, and the image of her shooting him, unable to touch it he puts it away in his safe.

Fast forward 3 years later, Leo has been put on a desk job and has been refused time and time again to gain access the The Group.

We a coup goes south and his commander dies in the fight, Leo is reinstated by the new leader. He is told the failed coup was to take down TBM but it failed and a lot of their members die. He is given a new female partner (NFP), she is a rookie and they want her to train him so as to stop him from going on the hunt.

Leo spends his time digging into The Group and finds countless photo's of HJW and TBM, who are obviously lovers. NFP finds him there and questions him on his relationship with HJW, he claims to hate her for betraying them and feels responsible for their teams deaths. Alone, he remembers their happier times and the moment she shot him, her eyes betrayed a flicker of uncertainty.

During the mean time, TBM orders HJW to raid an underground BIO lab that holds a large amount of anthrax and other bio hazard materials. She turns to go and he comes forward to hug her from the back, telling her to be back safe and not to cause him concern. She turns towards him, gives him a dazzling smile and a peck on the lips, he tightens his hold before letting her go on her way.

An informant within The Group leaks the news to Interpol,

The night of the raid, Leo's group is briefed on the situation and is told to track but not engage as they want TBM. Leo's ears perks up when he finds out HJW is likely to be leading the raid.

At the site, Leo camps out on top of an adjoining building, NFP comes to join him with coffee, she questions him again on his motives as she feels he is running purely on emotions, but she can't judge if it is love or hate. Leo doesn't answer instead tells her to settle down.

They are alerted to the appearance of The Group, from his vantage point Leo could see a dozen men dressed in black break into the building, taking down people as the go, but HJW is no where to be seen.

An Interpol agent is discovered by The Group and is shot on the spot, the order is put out to take The Group down. NFP responds and makes her way to the entry, but stops in her tracks when Leo isn't following.

Leo looks around and is still unable to see HJW. He makes a dash towards the side entrance and through to the BIO storage lab, NFP follows him.

There they encounter HJW and 3 more men, dressed in scientist clothes and being 'escorted' out by Interpol agents. The three men shoot the agents and kills them and holds Leo and NFP off while HJW makes a retreat. Leo barrels through them and goes after her, leaving NFP to fend off the remaining two men while trying to cover him.

Leo manages to catch up to her in front of the stairwell and rips her white coat off, to reveal her black clothes and a backpack that he is sure filled with bio hazards. He again ask her 'why' but she doesn't reply and instead makes a run for it. They run through the stairwell, her agility gives her more speed then him in the tight corners. Finally at the rooftop, on flat surface he is able to tackle her to the ground, he could hear the sound of a helicopter coming in, unsure if it's theirs or hers.

He tells her to stop before its too late, he holds her there, tears forming in his eyes, she ask him what would she she get if she surrender? He answered, me.

She hesitates for a moment before the sound of the helicopter approaching distracts her, recognizing the chopper as her own she pushes him off and makes a run for it.

Leo pulls out his gun and tells her to stop, she turns too look at him and tells him to 'take care' before turning back and running towards the chopper, Leo can't bring himself to shoot and watches as she makes the leap from the building to the chopper.

Leo watches as she flies away, catching TBM's eye before the chopper turns.

Leo turns to see his NFP standing behind him, her face grim. She's been shot in the arm and bleeding but manages to say..."it was love".

They report back to the commander and finds out how many of their men have died and how many are injured.

NFP offers up that the theory that there must be a mole in their mist as TBM had made an appearance to save his woman. She eyes Leo warily but keeps her mouth shut and doesn't say anything about Leo letting HJW go with the Bio materials.

Back at The Group, HJW also questions TBM how he knew about the Interpol team laying in wait, she asked him if he's got a mole in there. TBM doesn't answer but instead ask her to sit down so he can treat her hand wound when Leo had knocked her to the ground, he takes out the first aid kit and tends to her hand personally. She tells him she thinks there is a mole in their group as the raid was a secret and only a few knows about it. He bandages her hand up and tells her not to worry about it and he'll take care of it. He embraces her and tells her to not make him worry again.

In the hospital after NFP has been treated, Leo comes to see her and ask why she didn't report him, she tells him she knows how he feels and can see a part of her in him, and maybe in the same situation, she would have done the same thing. She wants to give him a chance as she had also seen his intuition bears fruit as he was the only one not distracted by the masked men but instead was able to locate HJW. She believes he could locate TBM.

Now that the BIO material are in the hands of The Group, the commander orders everyone to be on standby and try to figure out where they would use it. Leo suggest to research into the lab as he feels this is not the only BIO lab in the world, and the material they hold are also held at other locations, so why would The Group hit a heavy armed and underground utility on US soil.

Leo and NFP researches into the lab and finds out one of the engineers has recently been killed a few days after in an auto mobile accident. They look over the files and the autopsy files and was told by the coroner although he was asked to list the death as accidental, he feels there where certain things that were out of place, like some of the drivers fingers were crushed and bruising, the bruising was older than the other injuries on his body, he believes the driver could not be sitting behind the wheel at the time of the accident but the other injuries was indicative of an auto mobile accident.

Leo and NFP keeps digging through death certificates with the same injuries to see if there are any similar cases and they come across a case file that has been bared from viewing but list similar injuries.

Leo and NFP manages to bypass the system and open the case, Leo is shocked to find a newspaper clipping of a man who died in the same way 2 months back, but the man in the picture is one of his teammates that was killed in the failed raid 3 years ago, the same man HJW has shot point blank.

The files were last accessed by his old commander's on the day of his death, the one that died nearly a month ago. NFP ask him what's wrong, he looks at her and says nothing, tells her to call it a day and heads out.

He goes home and takes out the ring box, he finally takes it out and holds it up to look, inside is a simple engraving, "take care, saranghae". he remembers her words, saranghae meaning "I love you" and remembers her on the roof top, tell him to take care. Finally realizing is could be the mole inside The Group.

Back at The Group, leaving TBM in bed, HJW sneaks into TBM's office and tries to access his computer, she instead finds a note on the side, noting a time and place. Hearing TBM stir she quickly ducts out into the kitchen and pours herself a drink as he walks in, she tells him she was thirsty, he takes the drink from her hand and pours her a cup, he caresses her cheek and tells her he was worried when he didn't see her and she shouldn't worry him.

He looks up his old commander's death and finds out the raid location was provided by an informant but was outnumbered by The Group. His new commander comes in and ask him what he is doing. He spots Leo looking at the files and tells him to come by later for a chat.

Later that afternoon, Leo heads over to the new commander's place who takes him out onto a pond in his little steel boat. He spots the ring on Leo's finger and remarks he's never seen that ring before. Leo said it was given to him by someone he loved.

The commander ask him if it was someone he trust, he replied yes. The commander finally tells him that HJW was asked to go undercover, they provide her a fake identity as a North Korean deserter to allow her easier access to The Group. The failed coup from 3 years ago was a stage they had planned to make TBM fall for the trap. They had chosen HJW as she had met TBM at a random location while undercover and left a favorable impression on him. They found out that TBM was looking into her past and coming up blank. So they decided to use her to lure him in and get to The Group once and for all.

However, for 3 years, the group lay low, not having done anything significant and was constantly on the move, they all felt The Group was preparing something big and was just waiting for the chance to make it to their advantage.

Leo ask him if he believes their is a mole in their mist, the commander agreed and said HJW had sent the same news, he was at a lost to whom it could be and the only person he could trust was Leo as HJW trusts him, like his old commander trusted him.

Leo ask what he wanted him to do, the commander said HJW has given a date and time, she's unsure of what is going on but believes it could hold a key to what The Group wants to do in the future, but after the last attempt by the Old Commander, he is unsure if this news is trust worthy, he fears that The Group is already aware of HJW being a spy and be using her to lead them to their deaths.

Leo suggest using The Groups mole as an informant and let the news filter back with the wrong location, this will help them flash out their mole while letting the news reach back and casting doubt on HJW being the spy.

The day arrives and NFP approaches Leo to tell him the location has changed and they head out.

TBM ask HJW to accompany him somewhere, only with the two of them. HJW agrees but before she goes, she takes her small hand gun and hides it on her body.

Leo and NFP arrives at an old restaurant outside of town, they enter and sit in a corner booth, looking out to door. Moments later Leo see's HJW and TBM enters, realizing that NFP is the mole he turns to her but she has already clocked her gun on him. He and the commander had given every team a different location, to scout and the one where The Group turns up or is leaked back to The Group would be the mole.

Leo ask her if TBM was the person she was talking about when she said she understood why he couldn't shoot HJW. She admitted to it and said she is TBM's most loyal follower and companion. She told him to not expect reinforcements as this was not the same location the commander has told her, but another she has chosen to lure him here.

HJW see's Leo sitting at the table with NFP and stops in her tracks, TBM puts his arm around her shoulder and pulls her too him, his other hand holding onto her arm, pinning her against his side, he walks her over to the table. He takes her gun from her jacket and removes the clip.

He sits her down and settles down beside her, Leo looks at her concerned. The game was obviously up and they both knew it.

TBM orders a round of drinks and sips his leisurely, while the other three sits still, NFP's gun still trained on Leo.

TBM comments on how he had warned her three times, given her three chances to really follow him, but each time she had disappointed him and chosen to betray him. He had killed her commander, all those agent's that were in witness protection, so that she had no way out but to remain loyal to him, but she still choose to side with Interpol. He ask her was it because of Leo? He eyes the ring on Leo's hand, NFP removes the ring and gives it to him. He looks it over and sees the word 'saranghae'.

He smiles bitterly and ask her if it's love? He removes all the bullets from the clip bar one and puts the gun on the table. He wants to give her a last chance, take the gun and shoot Leo in the temples. If she does, he will forget the past and accept her back into his fold, she's an asset to The Group and a valuable person to him, if she doesn't, they both die here today. If she shoots him, Leo will die first and then NFP will shoot her since she's only got one bullet and NFP's got a whole clip.

Leo sighs and tells her its okay, at least he knows 'why' now.

Ushering tears, she takes up her gun and shoots NFP instead, the bullet was a blank. Caught of guard, NFP is momentarily distracted, Leo uses the chance and wrestles her gun from her, TBM pulls out his gun and aims it at HJW instead, Leo holds NFP hostage and orders him to put the gun down. TBM laughs menacingly and says the value of each trade is different, while HJW is irreplaceable to Leo, NFP is not to him.

He turns to HJW and tells her, to never worry him again and shoots her in the heart.

HJW drops to the ground and Leo lunges for her, NFP uses the chance and makes a break for it, the bartender pulls out and gun and starts shooting at Leo, he pulls HJW behind the booth and holds them off while she lays in his lap bleeding prosperously.

TBM strolls out of the restaurant and gets into a waiting limo. NFP follows in and settles opposite him, he holds the ring up and looks at it, running his fingers across the word "saranghae". He slowly slides the ring onto his finger as the limo drive off.

Leo cradles HJW in his arm and is unable to figure out an escape route, she looks up at him and tells him she has already asked for back up, when she first left the hideout she had left a message for the commander and her gun has a tracker.

Soon siren's blare and the bartender makes a run for it. The commander and some of the other agents enter and Leo tells them to call for the medic.

HJW is rushed to hospital and is in a critical but stable condition. The commander is now worried without a mole in The Group they are unable to pinpoint what he plans to do with the BIO hazards, he ask Leo for help but Leo is too concerned about HJW to worry about that. The commander leaves in a huff. Leo remains by her side.

After 3 days, HJW finally wakes and tells him to 'take care', Leo responds with Saranghae. HJW smiles and touches his cheek before she goes into cardiac arrest and is taken into surgery. Hours pass and Leo receives the news that she had passed away on the table, the doctors were unable to revive her.

The news reaches back to TBM, he twirls the ring on his finger but doesn't say anything.

HJW is cremated as per her custom, her only family member, a sister, takes her ashes and returns to Korea.

The commander comes to him and ask him when he was going to go back to work as they still have to catch TBM and The Group, also, with NFP being the mole, they don't know what she has leaked.

Leo remembers their conversation from earlier and why The Group would attack a lab on US soil when this lab has nothing 'special' compared to other labs. he thinks she was trying to gain his trust so was throwing out truths in between the lies. He figures out the important part was the US soil, they are trying to use the US military influence to cause a rift somewhere, but he is not sure where.

The commander tells him the ring HJW gave him also had a tracker, the tracker would only start once the ring was removed from the box. HJW had wanted to ensure his safety so she had requested he be placed on desk duty during her period of undercover, that was why his old commander had not allowed him to be a field agent. HJW was afraid she would be unable to hurt him and thus give herself away.

Leo finally understand why she gave him the ring and told him not to open it until they saw each other next, because if they did see each other, he would be a field agent and she wanted to ensure his safety and gave the tracking number to the old commander, she knew he would come after her if he was a field officer and needed the old commander to keep him away.

The current commander told him that if the ring was taken by TBM, they can track his location.

They head back to headquarters and using satellite is able to pinpoint him in the South China Sea area.

Leo realises with the constant unrest between Vietnam and China over boundaries if the US were to attack Chinese fleets, it would seem like they have taken Vietnam's side. The two countries will go to war and the US that had 'sanction' the call would have to either send troops or stay out of it. If they stayed out they would have let down and alley but if they sent troops they could be reliving another Vietnam war and neither countries would want that.

Regardless, another war during a depression period would mean the death of the US economy.

Interpol agents head out while their negotiators try to speak to both Vietnam and China about the new threat.

They track him down to an island within the South China Sea. The agents attack and this time TBM was caught off guard.

Both sides fight and TBM takes the BIO weapon and makes a run to his speed boat, NFP following closely behind. Leo manages to catch up to him on time and pulls out his gun, calling for him to stop. NFP pulls her gun out and aims it at Leo.

TBM turns on him and ask him if he thinks he'll get away from this alive, Leo tells him he'll take him in no matter what and have him trial for killing HJW. TBM smile fades and tells Leo it was Leo that killed her, if he didn't exist, things could have been different. He holds up the ring and tells Leo the ring was always meant for someone like him. He ask Leo how much he knew about HJW? The woman with no past?

Momentary distracted, NFP shoots him in the shoulders dropping his gun, TBM laughs and walks over to him, he picks up Leo's gun, puts it to his temple and tells him if he meets HJW in the underworld, he should ask her why her past was erased. He tells him, HJW and himself was more intimate then Leo and her ever was.

Before he could pull the trigger, NFP shoots him from behind, Leo manages to pull himself out of the way as TBM falls to the ground. NFP looms over them with a gun aimed at TBM, he looks up at her and ask her 'why'.

She tells him because unlike HJW, she's replaceable to him, she instead tells him first the ring he treasures is a tracker and she had known about this the first time she laid eyes on it, as she had read it in HJW's report that she had a tracker made in the shape of a pair of rings. she shoots him in the head and TBM falls dead to the ground.

NFP looks at Leo, who looks at the gun in TBM's hand, NFP tells him not to try as she would kill him before he even tries it. She ask him if he would do the same in her position, he told her he didn't know, as the person he loved, loved him. She nodded then turned her gun on herself as the other agents finally spots them.

Leo pulls the ring of TBM's finger and slides it back on his own.

The news of TBM and The Group being caught by Interpol hits the airwaves.

The commander comes into his office and finds Leo sitting there. He ask him why he came.

Leo tells him there were a couple of things he doesn't understand and needs clarification.

Why was HJW's past erased before she entered Interpol? this was not a norm for them. The commander told him HJW was a witness since she was young and was later trained by Interpol to become an agent. her past has long been forgotten and no records of it exist today.

Then where did the sister come from? If HJW has not past, she has no family. The commander tells him HJW did not die in the hospital as they thought, she eventually made a full recovery but knowing TBM would want to kill her, she was again shipped off and has fallen off the grid. No one knows where she is. Before she left, she told him about the tracking on the ring and how that could be used to track down TBM.

Leo told him he wants to leave Interpol, The commander ask him if he is going to look for her, HJW has been hiding for most of her life, she is impossible to find if she doesn't want to be. Leo agrees but says she left him a clue from 3 years ago.

This time, the satellites were able to pick up 2 signals of the same frequency, one was for him and the other was for the other ring. The other half of the pair HJW had made.


Leo tracks her down to an unknown location and the two finally meet. They embrace, takes off their rings and throws it into the river before heading off together.

They report back to the commander and finds out how many of their men have died and how many are injured.

NFP offers up that the theory that there must be a mole in their mist as TBM had made an appearance to save his woman. She eyes Leo warily but keeps her mouth shut and doesn't say anything about Leo letting HJW go with the Bio materials.

Back at The Group, HJW also questions TBM how he knew about the Interpol team laying in wait, she asked him if he's got a mole in there. TBM doesn't answer but instead ask her to sit down so he can treat her hand wound when Leo had knocked her to the ground, he takes out the first aid kit and tends to her hand personally. She tells him she thinks there is a mole in their group as the raid was a secret and only a few knows about it. He bandages her hand up and tells her not to worry about it and he'll take care of it. He embraces her and tells her to not make him worry again.

In the hospital after NFP has been treated, Leo comes to see her and ask why she didn't report him, she tells him she knows how he feels and can see a part of her in him, and maybe in the same situation, she would have done the same thing. She wants to give him a chance as she had also seen his intuition bears fruit as he was the only one not distracted by the masked men but instead was able to locate HJW. She believes he could locate TBM.

Now that the BIO material are in the hands of The Group, the commander orders everyone to be on standby and try to figure out where they would use it. Leo suggest to research into the lab as he feels this is not the only BIO lab in the world, and the material they hold are also held at other locations, so why would The Group hit a heavy armed and underground utility on US soil.

Leo and NFP researches into the lab and finds out one of the engineers has recently been killed a few days after in an auto mobile accident. They look over the files and the autopsy files and was told by the coroner although he was asked to list the death as accidental, he feels there where certain things that were out of place, like some of the drivers fingers were crushed and bruising, the bruising was older than the other injuries on his body, he believes the driver could not be sitting behind the wheel at the time of the accident but the other injuries was indicative of an auto mobile accident.

Leo and NFP keeps digging through death certificates with the same injuries to see if there are any similar cases and they come across a case file that has been bared from viewing but list similar injuries.

Leo and NFP manages to bypass the system and open the case, Leo is shocked to find a newspaper clipping of a man who died in the same way 2 months back, but the man in the picture is one of his teammates that was killed in the failed raid 3 years ago, the same man HJW has shot point blank.

The files were last accessed by his old commander's on the day of his death, the one that died nearly a month ago. NFP ask him what's wrong, he looks at her and says nothing, tells her to call it a day and heads out.

He goes home and takes out the ring box, he finally takes it out and holds it up to look, inside is a simple engraving, "take care, saranghae". he remembers her words, saranghae meaning "I love you" and remembers her on the roof top, tell him to take care. Finally realizing is could be the mole inside The Group.

Back at The Group, leaving TBM in bed, HJW sneaks into TBM's office and tries to access his computer, she instead finds a note on the side, noting a time and place. Hearing TBM stir she quickly ducts out into the kitchen and pours herself a drink as he walks in, she tells him she was thirsty, he takes the drink from her hand and pours her a cup, he caresses her cheek and tells her he was worried when he didn't see her and she shouldn't worry him.

He looks up his old commander's death and finds out the raid location was provided by an informant but was outnumbered by The Group. His new commander comes in and ask him what he is doing. He spots Leo looking at the files and tells him to come by later for a chat.

Later that afternoon, Leo heads over to the new commander's place who takes him out onto a pond in his little steel boat. He spots the ring on Leo's finger and remarks he's never seen that ring before. Leo said it was given to him by someone he loved.

The commander ask him if it was someone he trust, he replied yes. The commander finally tells him that HJW was asked to go undercover, they provide her a fake identity as a North Korean deserter to allow her easier access to The Group. The failed coup from 3 years ago was a stage they had planned to make TBM fall for the trap. They had chosen HJW as she had met TBM at a random location while undercover and left a favorable impression on him. They found out that TBM was looking into her past and coming up blank. So they decided to use her to lure him in and get to The Group once and for all.

However, for 3 years, the group lay low, not having done anything significant and was constantly on the move, they all felt The Group was preparing something big and was just waiting for the chance to make it to their advantage.

Leo ask him if he believes their is a mole in their mist, the commander agreed and said HJW had sent the same news, he was at a lost to whom it could be and the only person he could trust was Leo as HJW trusts him, like his old commander trusted him.

Leo ask what he wanted him to do, the commander said HJW has given a date and time, she's unsure of what is going on but believes it could hold a key to what The Group wants to do in the future, but after the last attempt by the Old Commander, he is unsure if this news is trust worthy, he fears that The Group is already aware of HJW being a spy and be using her to lead them to their deaths.

Leo suggest using The Groups mole as an informant and let the news filter back with the wrong location, this will help them flash out their mole while letting the news reach back and casting doubt on HJW being the spy.

The day arrives and NFP approaches Leo to tell him the location has changed and they head out.

TBM ask HJW to accompany him somewhere, only with the two of them. HJW agrees but before she goes, she takes her small hand gun and hides it on her body.

Leo and NFP arrives at an old restaurant outside of town, they enter and sit in a corner booth, looking out to door. Moments later Leo see's HJW and TBM enters, realizing that NFP is the mole he turns to her but she has already clocked her gun on him. He and the commander had given every team a different location, to scout and the one where The Group turns up or is leaked back to The Group would be the mole.

Leo ask her if TBM was the person she was talking about when she said she understood why he couldn't shoot HJW. She admitted to it and said she is TBM's most loyal follower and companion. She told him to not expect reinforcements as this was not the same location the commander has told her, but another she has chosen to lure him here.

HJW see's Leo sitting at the table with NFP and stops in her tracks, TBM puts his arm around her shoulder and pulls her too him, his other hand holding onto her arm, pinning her against his side, he walks her over to the table. He takes her gun from her jacket and removes the clip.

He sits her down and settles down beside her, Leo looks at her concerned. The game was obviously up and they both knew it.

TBM orders a round of drinks and sips his leisurely, while the other three sits still, NFP's gun still trained on Leo.

TBM comments on how he had warned her three times, given her three chances to really follow him, but each time she had disappointed him and chosen to betray him. He had killed her commander, all those agent's that were in witness protection, so that she had no way out but to remain loyal to him, but she still choose to side with Interpol. He ask her was it because of Leo? He eyes the ring on Leo's hand, NFP removes the ring and gives it to him. He looks it over and sees the word 'saranghae'.

He smiles bitterly and ask her if it's love? He removes all the bullets from the clip bar one and puts the gun on the table. He wants to give her a last chance, take the gun and shoot Leo in the temples. If she does, he will forget the past and accept her back into his fold, she's an asset to The Group and a valuable person to him, if she doesn't, they both die here today. If she shoots him, Leo will die first and then NFP will shoot her since she's only got one bullet and NFP's got a whole clip.

Leo sighs and tells her its okay, at least he knows 'why' now.

Ushering tears, she takes up her gun and shoots NFP instead, the bullet was a blank. Caught of guard, NFP is momentarily distracted, Leo uses the chance and wrestles her gun from her, TBM pulls out his gun and aims it at HJW instead, Leo holds NFP hostage and orders him to put the gun down. TBM laughs menacingly and says the value of each trade is different, while HJW is irreplaceable to Leo, NFP is not to him.

He turns to HJW and tells her, to never worry him again and shoots her in the heart.

HJW drops to the ground and Leo lunges for her, NFP uses the chance and makes a break for it, the bartender pulls out and gun and starts shooting at Leo, he pulls HJW behind the booth and holds them off while she lays in his lap bleeding prosperously.

TBM strolls out of the restaurant and gets into a waiting limo. NFP follows in and settles opposite him, he holds the ring up and looks at it, running his fingers across the word "saranghae". He slowly slides the ring onto his finger as the limo drive off.

Leo cradles HJW in his arm and is unable to figure out an escape route, she looks up at him and tells him she has already asked for back up, when she first left the hideout she had left a message for the commander and her gun has a tracker.

Soon siren's blare and the bartender makes a run for it. The commander and some of the other agents enter and Leo tells them to call for the medic.

HJW is rushed to hospital and is in a critical but stable condition. The commander is now worried without a mole in The Group they are unable to pinpoint what he plans to do with the BIO hazards, he ask Leo for help but Leo is too concerned about HJW to worry about that. The commander leaves in a huff. Leo remains by her side.

After 3 days, HJW finally wakes and tells him to 'take care', Leo responds with Saranghae. HJW smiles and touches his cheek before she goes into cardiac arrest and is taken into surgery. Hours pass and Leo receives the news that she had passed away on the table, the doctors were unable to revive her.

The news reaches back to TBM, he twirls the ring on his finger but doesn't say anything.

HJW is cremated as per her custom, her only family member, a sister, takes her ashes and returns to Korea.

The commander comes to him and ask him when he was going to go back to work as they still have to catch TBM and The Group, also, with NFP being the mole, they don't know what she has leaked.

Leo remembers their conversation from earlier and why The Group would attack a lab on US soil when this lab has nothing 'special' compared to other labs. he thinks she was trying to gain his trust so was throwing out truths in between the lies. He figures out the important part was the US soil, they are trying to use the US military influence to cause a rift somewhere, but he is not sure where.

The commander tells him the ring HJW gave him also had a tracker, the tracker would only start once the ring was removed from the box. HJW had wanted to ensure his safety so she had requested he be placed on desk duty during her period of undercover, that was why his old commander had not allowed him to be a field agent. HJW was afraid she would be unable to hurt him and thus give herself away.

Leo finally understand why she gave him the ring and told him not to open it until they saw each other next, because if they did see each other, he would be a field agent and she wanted to ensure his safety and gave the tracking number to the old commander, she knew he would come after her if he was a field officer and needed the old commander to keep him away.

The current commander told him that if the ring was taken by TBM, they can track his location.

They head back to headquarters and using satellite is able to pinpoint him in the South China Sea area.

Leo realises with the constant unrest between Vietnam and China over boundaries if the US were to attack Chinese fleets, it would seem like they have taken Vietnam's side. The two countries will go to war and the US that had 'sanction' the call would have to either send troops or stay out of it. If they stayed out they would have let down and alley but if they sent troops they could be reliving another Vietnam war and neither countries would want that.

Regardless, another war during a depression period would mean the death of the US economy.

Interpol agents head out while their negotiators try to speak to both Vietnam and China about the new threat.

They track him down to an island within the South China Sea. The agents attack and this time TBM was caught off guard.

Both sides fight and TBM takes the BIO weapon and makes a run to his speed boat, NFP following closely behind. Leo manages to catch up to him on time and pulls out his gun, calling for him to stop. NFP pulls her gun out and aims it at Leo.

TBM turns on him and ask him if he thinks he'll get away from this alive, Leo tells him he'll take him in no matter what and have him trial for killing HJW. TBM smile fades and tells Leo it was Leo that killed her, if he didn't exist, things could have been different. He holds up the ring and tells Leo the ring was always meant for someone like him. He ask Leo how much he knew about HJW? The woman with no past?

Momentary distracted, NFP shoots him in the shoulders dropping his gun, TBM laughs and walks over to him, he picks up Leo's gun, puts it to his temple and tells him if he meets HJW in the underworld, he should ask her why her past was erased. He tells him, HJW and himself was more intimate then Leo and her ever was.

Before he could pull the trigger, NFP shoots him from behind, Leo manages to pull himself out of the way as TBM falls to the ground. NFP looms over them with a gun aimed at TBM, he looks up at her and ask her 'why'.

She tells him because unlike HJW, she's replaceable to him, she instead tells him first the ring he treasures is a tracker and she had known about this the first time she laid eyes on it, as she had read it in HJW's report that she had a tracker made in the shape of a pair of rings. she shoots him in the head and TBM falls dead to the ground.

NFP looks at Leo, who looks at the gun in TBM's hand, NFP tells him not to try as she would kill him before he even tries it. She ask him if he would do the same in her position, he told her he didn't know, as the person he loved, loved him. She nodded then turned her gun on herself as the other agents finally spots them.

Leo pulls the ring of TBM's finger and slides it back on his own.

The news of TBM and The Group being caught by Interpol hits the airwaves.

The commander comes into his office and finds Leo sitting there. He ask him why he came.

Leo tells him there were a couple of things he doesn't understand and needs clarification.

Why was HJW's past erased before she entered Interpol? this was not a norm for them. The commander told him HJW was a witness since she was young and was later trained by Interpol to become an agent. her past has long been forgotten and no records of it exist today.

Then where did the sister come from? If HJW has not past, she has no family. The commander tells him HJW did not die in the hospital as they thought, she eventually made a full recovery but knowing TBM would want to kill her, she was again shipped off and has fallen off the grid. No one knows where she is. Before she left, she told him about the tracking on the ring and how that could be used to track down TBM.

Leo told him he wants to leave Interpol, The commander ask him if he is going to look for her, HJW has been hiding for most of her life, she is impossible to find if she doesn't want to be. Leo agrees but says she left him a clue from 3 years ago.

This time, the satellites were able to pick up 2 signals of the same frequency, one was for him and the other was for the other ring. The other half of the pair HJW had made.


Leo tracks her down to an unknown location and the two finally meet. They embrace, takes off their rings and throws it into the river before heading off together.

@tieuyeunu wow! I totally love your plot! It gives me a Salt and The Tourist feel to it, don't ask me why. I have no idea too. Haha. Leo is just the perfect leading man. Be it a romance or action film. His acting has never failed to leave me in awe and has always impressed me. And I also believe Ha Ji Won can pull off that role perfectly. Now I am more than stoked about her hollywood debut after reading your own plot. I hope HJW's hollywood project will be as close as this. 
And I am assuming the title for this plot is "Why?" Hahaha. judging from the number of times Leo and HJW asked 'why'?

Now I'm looking forward to HJW's Hollywood project.
Well some people on Baidu are saying maybe her next project would be Avatar 2 since that is expected to start filming in fall 2014.  I'm not sure if I want her to be in Avatar 2, you barely get to see their real face, but it is going to be a grand project, and they're Avatar 2, 3, and 4 all in one go. Oh the dilemma!!!

Ha Ji-won heads to Hollywood

Actress Ha Ji-won may be the next among Korean actors to hit Hollywood, according to local reports yesterday.
Industry insiders revealed that Ha left for Los Angeles on May 14 to attend a meeting with Jeffrey Godsick, president of major Hollywood studio 20th Century Fox. 
They reportedly discussed Ha’s debut in Hollywood and will hold another meeting when the actress’s Korean film “Chronicle of a Blood Merchant” finishes shooting. 
“It is true that Ha met with people from 20th Century Fox,” said the actress’s agency. “However, we cannot reveal anything more.”
One industry insider said, “Ha is expected to get positive feedback on the world stage since she has the ability to pull off fierce action scenes in addition to her good acting skills.”
Ha starts filming for “Chronicle of a Blood Merchant,” directed by actor Ha Jung-woo, next month.

Well the good thing with her getting a part in Avatar 2 is that she will kick off her Hollywood career with a definite blockbuster, and if they add her character in as one of the main characters, she'll be filming 3 movies in one go.
This means after this one major project, she can rest meet someone, get married and have kids, and her movies will still be releasing in theaters one after the other. =))
I definitely agree with her taking a minor part on a blockbuster movie over being the lead in some small production.  Let's be honest here, you want people to take notice of you at the start of your career, and not to forget you.
