안데르센의 동화에서 출발해 무명 복서 태웅(현빈)과 도도함이 하늘을 찌르는 얼음공주 보라(성유리)의 특별한 사랑을 그리는 ‘눈의 여왕’이 TV 드라마와는 별개로, 만화로 창작돼 인터넷과 모바일, 그리고 만화책으로 제작된다.

제작사 윤스칼라 박인택 대표는 “만화를 원작으로 하는 드라마나 영화도 많고, 또 드라마가 종료된 후 국내외에서 만화가 출판된 경우도 있다. 하지만 브랜드와 모티브만 공유하면서 드라마와 만화가 가진 장르의 개성을 최대한 살려낸다면 ‘원 브랜드 멀티 콘텐츠’의 재미가 극대화 될 것이라고 전망하며, 최초로 시도하는 미리보기 만화는 ‘눈의 여왕’ 팬들에게 작은 선물이 될 것”이라고 설명했다.

In a nutshell, these 2 articles are saying that the comic version of the Snow Queen Drama by Korean cartoon artist 지완 will be published in 2 volumes (about 200 pages each). The 1st vol will be released in mid Nov & the 2nd in Jan next year. In addition it will be available on the official KBS SQ website (www.thesnowqueen.co.kr) and mobile phones through service provider SK KTF. The cartoon preview was lauched at the SQ website yesterday.

Of course, not forgetting that the drama will debut on KBS2 TV on Nov 13! :P

Ai go, can i have my "Samshikah" back? :unsure: I for one is not a fan of weepy dramas but for binnie's sake, i'll go through all length :sweatingbullets: to convince myself to sit through SQ even if it means tying myself to my armchair :phew: and running the risk of being teased by my colleagues for the swollen eyes :tears:.

Having said, i really hope that binnie's next project would be a happier role. It just sadden me to see a depressed and dishevelled looking binnie :(.

I can watch Cloud Stairway in KBS World so hopefully, they show SQ also after CS.
