Q) Those celebrities who caused social controversy usually say they have practiced self-restraint.

A) There is no fixed period for self-restraint.  It is really difficult to specify a certain period.  It depends on the kind of social controversy caused.  There is recent news that Park Si Hoo is trying to make a comeback.  He was involved in a sex scandal in February last year.  At that time he was having problems with his agency about his transfer.  Although many stories were circulating, the scandal became a personal problem for Park Si Hoo.  He refrained from action for a while and then tried to make a breakthrough in China.  He made the Chinese movie “Scent” and appeared in the International Motor Show in China, as well as the press conference of the movie.  And on April 16 he attended the Beijing International Film Festival.  Resuming activities in South Korea, however, will take far more time.  Negotiations for the drama that he was to appear in [ED: KBS2's "Golden Cross"] were canceled at the last stage.  KEMA (Korean Entertainment Management Association) has issued a ruling that Park Si Hoo who caused social controversy should practice a period of self-restraint before being allowed to return.  There are different opinions on this, and it really depends on the broadcasters’ choice.  [ED: meaning it depends on whether SBS, KBS, MBC have the nerve to cast PSH in a drama.]  But public opinion must be taken into account and public acceptance is most important.

"HOO HOO said he was hurt, but perhaps we were more hurt than he was and he spent a lot of sleepless nights, he was deeply sorry , and thank us all for believing him and waited for him .

HOO HOO can't explain how really deeply painful it was that in those days when he and us (his fans) can't get to meet and speak to each other. He said he hope next year to have more opportunity to meet us (his fans) and he will work hard , and believe that we always will support him , waiting for him.
