7,500 VIPS sign petition protesting against BIGBANG’s Japan Tour!

It was previously reported that Big Bang will be holding their Japan tour named “Love & Hope 2011” in May. The group was scheduled to perform 7 concerts, beginning on May 10th and 11th at Osaka, continuing on May 13th thru 15th at Makuhari Messe, and concluding the tour on May 17th and 18th at Nagoya. 

Since the earthquake, fans have been pleading for YG Entertainment to postpone the tour, as Japan was and is still rattled by strong aftershocks and was faced with apotential nuclear disaster. Despite the opposition, YG Entertainment did not take action and caused fans to start a petition in order to protect Big Bang. 

YG fans launched (www.foresafebb.com) on April 10th to facilitate a petition to display their strong opposition to Big Bang’s Japan concert. The petition closed on April 17th and over the 7-day period 4319 Korean VIPs, 1585 Japanese VIPs, and 1601 Universal Music fans signed the petition. The completed petition was sent YG Korea, YG Japan, and Universal Music Japan with a message calling for the tour to bepostponed. 

Fans are also in the process of creating an official video for the petition. With the strong opposition from fans, the spotlight is on YG Entertainment as to how they will deal with the situation.

a little heartbreaking, but I'm a little surprised by how many JVIPs actually signed the petition. JVIPs are concerned too... I wonder how YG will deal with this.

Big Bang featured on Mexican TV Show “Venga La Alegria”!

A mexican show called “Venga La Alegria” (Come the Happiness), features a segment called “90 seconds” where they play certain artists’ videos or music for 90 seconds. After fans kept on asking and asking, they finally featured Big Bang on national TV!

Guy on video: We have come to the “90 seconds” segment and like we’ve said before, you guys make “Venga La Alegria”. Through twitter a revolution has been made asking that we talk about Kpop through “90 seconds”. We have a little bit, a little taste, 90 seconds, of BIG BANG. I don't know what to say about that petition. KVIPs should know the boys heart and just accept it even if its a tad bit worrisome. Just think of what the Japanese people are going through! Lets just pray for the best and let BB go visit JVIPs to try to bring some joy into there otherwise sad days.

BIGBANG & UV Syndrome to Appear on MNET Beatles Code

Hot music industry icon, Big Bang, 28 days after UV-dong is in Seoul, at the CJ E & M center and is in progress for recording the music talk show Mnet ‘Beatles Code’.

Recently, UV themselves aired a fake documentary program, Music Mnet’s ‘UV Syndrome Begins’, which confirms that ‘Best Big Bang was actually raised as protégés’; he has found a collection of topics because of this.

According to the allegations of UV that Big Bang’s style and choreography all came from the UV influence, it is possible that the two groups will talk due to the story drawing attention and some news coverage.

‘Beatles Code’’s crew described the program as, “UV and Big Bang, it will focus on parallels between the two groups and will share many stories”, he said.

Yoon Jong Shin UV Sense is in the process of determining whether or not Big Bang has interest in appearing on “Beatles Code” to come midnight on May 5, when the show will be broadcast.

{NEWS} Big Bang #2 Seungri #5 and GD&TOP #10 artists that sold the most album copies in 2011!

 

On April 28th, Gaon Chart released the album sales figures from January through March of 2011. 

 Results showed that TVXQ placed first with over 200,000 in total sales. 

Gaon’s representatives stated : 

“The first quarter of 2011 met with the album releases of TVXQ and Big Bang, both of whom have been away from the industry for a long time.”

The rankings and the number of album copies sold are as follows:

1. TVXQ – “Keep Your Head Down” (236,669)

2. Big Bang – “Fourth Mini-album” (139,104)
