^[i know this is just an assumption and they didn't announce anything] But looking at the seating venue for Hawaii, wouldn't it make sense that the VIP seats/places will be those that are closest to the stage?

What I mean by VIP tickets, is that it includes a meet&greet with autograph signing and pictures. That's what they did in Asia (I don't think Seoul had VIP either, I think Singapore did?) But those front seats are the prices they have online, $217.

I know what you mean by VIP tickets but my point is that just because they didn't announce that VIP tickets were going to be sold, that it doesn't mean that there won't be any. There's still a little more than a week left so they can release more information on what people can do with their tickets.

I'm sorry if my tone sounds rude but I'm not trying to argue, I just don't think my point got across to you.

Oh, no worries I understand. But still, I highly doubt they would announce vip AFTER tickets are already on sale. That just wouldn't make sense. VIP should cost more than general (even front section/floor) seats. & even if vip would later be included with the higher priced seating, that would throw off the whole process of ordering tickets, because ticketmaster has a separate package for vip, and the only listed tickets are general. Unless they actually add that within next week o_o.... I know ticketmaster sometimes releases better seats nearing the concert date. Maybe by some chance, vip tickets will be available

Im also waiting for the information for the L.A. stop and since im 90% positive that it wont be cancelled, i decided to just booked the hotel since i already have the date of the concert...

If you don't mind me asking... which hotel did you book for the LA concert? & is it close to the Galen Center @USC? Me & my friends are also coming from out of town & I've been delaying getting the hotel since I've been paranoid that the show would be either cancelled or pushed back since it's taken them so long to release ticket information.

VIP or not, I think the ticket prices are still worth it. Who knows when they'll be coming back to the U.S. I don't think I want to take the risk and miss out on seeing them perform.

The ticket prices are outrageous. I've been a supporter of these boys since Hug and I won't be going if the LA tickets are $200. This isn't even a full concert. It's just a showcase, and I agree with cccatherine that the prices shouldn't be so high for what is essentially their US debut. These are Madonna prices, or even higher looking at the Las Vegas prices. :\ When I saw Lady Gaga for her first round of the Monster Ball tour, her best tickets were only around $50, and she was already on the rise at that time. I'm really disappointed by the prices for the US stops so far and by how last minute the tickets are going on sale, but I still want to go and support JYJ if it's affordable enough for me.

The ticket info release dates and the concert dates are seriously too close!

I'm a (sort-of) fan from Hawaii but I'm not actually planning to attend the Blaisdell event... Instead, I'm actually planning to fly out to Vegas to meet my sister and her friend for the Planet Hollywood show (who are flying in from Oregon & originally planned to attend the Seattle event).

At this point, I'm getting extremely anxious because there's is like no info on the Vegas event. With no ticket info, I don't feel comfortable enough to book my flight just yet.

Do the organizers even realize that out-of-town fans need TIME in order put together their travel plans? Out-of-town people also need to free up/coordinate their work schedules in order to attend. It would be silly to think that only Hawaii locals will be at the Hawaii event and only LV folks will be at the LV event, etc.

With that said, I'm just telling myself that this is a once in a life time opportunity to calm myself down.

Seriously stressing out here.

There is now, lol, but my jaw seriously dropped when I saw those ticket prices. I'm guessing the $305 ticket is for that tiny golden blob right in front center but...isn't the whole showcase only like 1 hr long?? judging from what the other showcases have been. But yeah, I totally agree with you about the planning.

There still isn't any information up for the NYC stop (I'm going to f!#*$&@ die), which means I'm stalemated into not being able to make concrete plans, and if half decent seats are $200-300 there, plus transportation and overnight stay (plus I have to take the day off work), I can't help but feel sick and disappointed and recognize I might not be going to this one...

Holy richard simmons. The prices for Vegas are insane. That's the one I was hoping to go to, but if they're that expensive everywhere in the States...Wow. I want to go, but I'm on a budget. I don't want to travel hundreds of miles to sit in the back row of a concert that's only going to last about an hour. But I don't have the money to travel AND buy good tickets.

But, oh, I really want to go. I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through those with more money than myself. T.T

Okay, yeah. Seriously, I love JYJ but $344 for an hour long showcase is just too much. Especially since it wasn't even for VIP. This is insane. I hope the other prices won't be near that much but more around Hawaii prices...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the LV prices are ridiculous. T_T

Well, I'm definitely going - I booked my flight this morning even when event ticket info wasn't released yet... I just thought if something goes horribly wrong and I don't end up going to the event... I can write it off as a mini weekend vacation in Sin City and try to make the most of my situation.

Plane tickets already burned up $650 of hard earned cash. I can't imagine how hopeless younger/student fans feel if an old fuddy-duddy like me thinks the prices are outrageous.

And the only reason I'm flying over to the mainland instead of going to the Hawaii one is because I don't have close friends my age who are into kpop to go with. Stuff like this needs to be experienced with someone (like my sister who's a much much much bigger fan than me)... I sure hope I made the right choice.

My friends and I got our tickets for the Hawaii concert! ^^ section CC row 2.. I went to the box office this morning because it's a little cheaper compared to buying online through Ticketmaster with the higher service fees. The tickets don't say anything about meet and greets or photos or anything, but I'm just glad we get to go~

A lot of my friends who were excited about them having a concert here changed their minds once we found out how much the tickets were. Most of the people I saw at the box office weren't students though.. but just the same, I was glad to see people there buying tickets because I wasn't sure how many people were still willing to go. I know they could get a lot more people and fans to come if the prices weren't as high! But despite the cost, I'm really hoping there will be a good turn out of support for JYJ in Hawaii ;)

I thought the same thing, so I didn't want to miss out on the chance to see them.. I know it would be next to impossible to see their concert in Seoul considering how fast they sell out >_<

Omgosh, i`ve been a fan of these boys for years and as much as i love them, the ticket prices are ridulously high for just an hour long showcase . It`s not even a full length concert ! I`m kinda disappointed .. hopefully my friend will still go with me because we didn`t expect the prices to be this high T-T

This is ridiculous. I know I'm a newbie when it comes to the whole entertainment business, but how exactly do they calculate how much ticket prices will be? I understand that there is a tax on live shows in Vegas.. but $300+ is on par with like, Lady Gaga tickets (is it not?). The majority fan-base is probably made up of students, how are we supposed to afford this D; I really hope LA is at least around the prices of Hawaii's..

the box office charges an extra $1.00 to any of the prices. So if you buy the $200.00 ticket, you pay $201.00. price ranges from $76 to $201, depending on where you're sitting.

I'm excited for this showcase! I guess seeing DBSK has always been something I was determined to do. I was able to see Yunho & Changmin in LA for SMTown and now I get to see Jaejoong, Yoochun, & Junsu! Though I would have preferred to see the 5 of them together, I will be content with what I can get. Just having them in Hawaii is awesome! C'mon, Hawaii Cassies, let's show them our love for them!

krnxgrlx808 It's not really much of a difference ($201 flat for the section closest to the stage) but I still wanted to save as much as I can :sweatingbullets:

songjc I agree! DBSK was what really got me into k-pop and they'll always be my favorite no matter what, so I'm really excited to see just the three of them perform ^^ even if just for this time around ;)
