“댄스는 외국어 공부보다 더 어려운 것 같아!”

탤런트 조동혁이 수상스키에 이어 댄스 연습 삼매경에 빠졌다.

조동혁은 6월 초 방송 예정인 SBS 새 금요드라마 ‘8월에 내리는 눈’에 헬스 트레이너이자 미혼부인 한동우 역으로 출연한다. 그는 드라마를 위해 아이스하키 연습 뿐 아니라 수상스키와 댄스 연습에 한창이다.

지금까지 출연한 드라마마다 재벌 2세나 엘리트 역을 맡아 영어나 일본어 등 외국어 공부만 주로 했던 조동혁은 이번 드라마에서는 그 동안의 캐릭터와는 달리 젊은 나이에 미혼부로 살면서 이것저것 몸으로 쓰는 일이라면 무엇이든지 하는 인물을 맡아 이전과는 다른 다양한 모습을 선보인다.

조동혁은 극중 아이스하키 선수였던 인물을 소화하기 위해 요즘도 틈틈이 아이스링크에서 훈련을 받고 있다. 이번에는 수상스키에 도전했다. 조동혁의 극중 인물인 한동우는 직업이 헬스 트레이너로 웬만한 운동은 모조리 섭렵한 운동 마니아다. 실제로 2~3년 전 단 한번 수상스키를 타 본 것이 전부라는 조동혁은 촬영 전 걱정했던 것과는 달리 촬영에 들어가자 무리 없이 OK사인을 받아냈다.

이렇듯 각종 운동에 있어서 만큼은 자신감을 나타낸 조동혁이지만 최근 댄스연습을 시작하고서는 난감한 마음을 감추지 못하고 있다.

극중 추상미와 함께 노래방에서 노래를 부르며 춤을 추는 장면을 촬영해야 하는 조동혁은 촬영을 앞두고 급한 마음에 안무가 선생님을 찾았다. 평소 춤이라고는 춰 본 적 없는 조동혁이지만 조동혁의 댄스 장면이 극중에서는 중요한 장면이 될 예정이어서 속성으로 댄스를 배우기로 한 것이다.

김건모, 쿨, 이효리, 신화 등의 안무를 담당하는 나나스쿨의 김영춘 단장으로부터 댄스를 배우고 있는 조동혁은 처음에는 동작 하나하나가 쑥스러워 웃음을 참느라 애를 먹었다.

김종국의 ‘사랑스러워’에 맞춰 댄스를 배우고 있는 조동혁은 “빠른 템포의 박자에 익숙하지 않은 귀여운 몸동작을 가미하느라 아직까지는 많이 어색하지만 조금씩 나아지고 있는 것 같다. 촬영까지 열심히 연습해서 방송에서는 완벽한 댄스를 선보이겠다”며 자신감을 드러내기도 했다.

I don't think I've ever seen him but yesterday I heard some good things about Mr. Goodbye from 2 different people so I plan to find it and check it out

I enjoyed JDH in Mr. Goodbye and so far, I like his character in Snow in August. I'd like to see him in a comedy...so far, he's played very low-key characters.

He REALLY REALLY looks like Orlando Bloom. It's eerie.

He's a sexy looking guy with awesome physique..glad that he's in a couple of dramas now..he's so effin' hot in that sexy movie..*phew!*

Jo Dong Hyeok will be on KBS new daily drama, "I hate U but it's fine" starting today (Monday -- replacing "As much as heaven and earth")! ^^ yippeees!

he'll be playing as Han Ji Hye's older brother and he still has that look... Han Dong Woo's look (Snow in August) :wub:

Now that really got my attention, even though it was a bit late for me :D Totally like JDH!

I never knew he had a thread here already. Anyways, yeah, I'm looking forward to that daily drama esp when I learned he will be in it. I think it will start in KBS World a month later. :)

this guy just grows on you, its a shame hes not too famous cuz hes a pretty good actor, hopefully ill see more of him later on
