And about the Banmal song, IMO I'm still happy that Yonghwa is releasing his version. ( I mean come on they are at least releasing a version of it.) And if you think about it, it's almost like a love letter to Seohyun dontcha think?

And besides the song was composed by yonghwa, and produced by him. It should be his.

Hey Goguma, i just read the news about Yonghwa releasing the banmal song. I find that there's nothing wrong with him releasing the song by himself, since it was a solo song that he wrote to dedicate to seohyun in the first place. Ignore all those people who do not pay attention to yongseo couple and just jump the gun saying that Yonghwa is profiting off of seohyn. Well to me i think releasing this song is kinda like a teaser for CN.Blue comeback. Remembered how back in May of 2010 Love Light was released before the actual Album release(BlueLove)? I think FNC is just trying to use the same tactics again so don't worry goguma. Is it me or it's so weird that both of the album release has a teaser song that is seohyun related? LMAO.. LoveLight was dedicated to Seohyun but no body knows about it then, the only difference now is that they actually know the Banmal song is dedicated to Seohyun. Anyways i'm not going to be stressed about this problem and i think all the Goguma out there should not be stress about this as well

First of all, I want to join the goguma over the world(?). I'm from INDONESIA. Sorry I'm too lazy to copy the list so just put me in

I want to give my point of view about banmal song.

As I stated before in this thread, I didn't like the idea of banmal song become a mission because this song is originally Yong's message for Hyun. But, as time goes by I accept that idea and I really like the lyric of both Hyun and Yong and I love their UCC. And then there's news that they will be release the digital single and FNC said that they will remove Hyun's lyric and produce by CN Blue. And I really upset back then because that statement. I just can't accept that they easily remove someone's lyric. BUT, now i read that Yong will be the one who sing it as Jung Yong Hwa. And I'm happy about it because banmal song is originally yong's message for Hyun.

What i'm disagree back then is FNC statement about banmal song. When I read it I think that FNC being rude (And at that time I'm already upset because of they're statement regarding CN Blue's individual activity and delay album (glad that the album will out in Feb). Iif they told us that it will be Yong's song for Hyun, i'm sure i will be happy at that time and not upset.

SO, how can we purchase this digital single????

I don't know if it's only me, but i feel sad when i read this 'The “Banmal Song” is a self-composed song by Yong Hwa that was inspired by the memories he’s shared with SNSD’s Seo Hyun as a ‘married couple’ on “We Got Married”'. because it feel like goodbye. But, maybe it is just me

As for Banmal Song Yong version:

In the first place, this is originally a song he composed for Hyun, so i really will love his version...

I'm happy that he will release the song alone with the influence of Hyun not a duet song influenced by WGM.

If i'm not mistaken, they already announced that the song won't be released as duet song because both parties is very busy, but because of there so many fan demanded it to be released.

I want it to be released with other CNBLUE members with them as Yongs background, i think that way the music will be more emotional or inspired. Maybe many of my Co-Boice still not approved of Yong and Hyun as a couple so that's why i think its for good...

I hope everyone will think before speak on why this occasion is not going according to what they expect to happen. I'm really disappointed when i read many comment @allkpop. Sorry if im kind of rude here but i think some of us is going overboard. Let's just be happy for both of them.

@crystal! Haven't seen you in awhile here but I saw you did valiantly tried to make some rotten potatoes see reason in allkpop. Although it looked really bad, I noticed that it was pretty much the same people who claim are Seohyun's fans that I tried to explain things earlier. Its like they are horses with 'gringolas' (don't know the word in English) in their face and they just see what they want to see so I decided to try and ignore them.

As I wrote the following to somebody there who started saying he was going to boycott the song and some of his minions followed:

I understand that you are Sone and in some way you feel cheated, because who didn't like the duet,right? Everyone loved it! But please before saying or taking rash decisions, please read all the facts related to the Banmal song. A song that Yonghwa was personally working for months as a gift/dedication to her and a way that he could express his thoughts and feelings. He said this before WGM sent a mission card to them to do a duet out of it later on. In addition, I think the problem is more from FNC/SM/WGM/MBC/copyrights/legalities and not Yonghwa, if you read all the agencies statements related to the song. So please, don't boycott a song that its ULTIMATE meaning is the HIGHEST COMPLIMENT any singer will receive from another singer-songrwriter, so EVERY SONE should be PROUD and HAPPY for Seohyun. Even more so, if it is from a potential real love interest! If Seohyun is happy, all Sones should be happy for her.

So yes I understand some Sones may be disappointed by not seeing her sing etc but they have to see the other side of the coin and understand all the facts related to the song. I still believe that the majority will continue to support Yonghwa (Gogumas, Boices, Sones). I even went to soshified WGM thread and fans were still supportive.

However, we all know all this problem was originally caused by WGM, so in the best interest of the situation, they should release a clearer statement than the one they did of the reasons why it can't be released as a duet. In my opinion, it was the decision of their agencies involved and not Yonghwa's as some people are thinking. Even better would be if the statement was released by SM and/or Seohyun supporting the song or explaining to Sones why she couldn't do it. I think its mostly complicated legalities between FNC/SM. Although I don't work in the music industry, so I may be wrong, I even think that the legalities of the duet song were more complicated than just SM/FNC, because if Seohyun wrote part of the lyrics during WGM as a WGM mission, in a MBC show, MBC could have claims in some way to some of the profits, right? So Yonghwa was going to be even more cheated of his original creation and its purpose.

The following is also a possible additional reason, but don't take it as fact (I will put it in spoiler to reduce the length of the post)

As I said some days ago when the Changmin/Seohyun duet was announced. I think this duet is possibly another reason SM will have problems releasing a Yonghwa/Seohyun duet right now. TVXQ (DBSK), who pretty much has been considered as the Top group in Asia, have gone and still going through BIG PROBLEMS (group breakage, law suits, etc). After 2 years of inactivity, from a business perspective, the comeback of the 2 remaining group members (Yunho and Changmin) under SM is the MOST IMPORTANT thing for SM management right now. Its also must be a matter of pride for the company that the remaining members should do good, even better than the album etc of the group formed by the members who left (JYJ) who are also currently promoting. Thus, TVXQ and everything related to it including Chagmin's drama, and Changmin/Seohyun duet for his drama, is their priority. After all the good reception of the Banmal song duet in youtube it is no wonder to think that in terms of duet they will be competing against each other at the same time, so it may be an additional reason for the company to say no, at least from Seohyun's side.

Anyways let's just continue to support Yonghwa and his song!!! I can't wait to listen what he has to say towards Seohyun

hi gogumas! it's been a long time for me. i've been silently lurking but am still a faithful follower of uri yongseo and this thread. i'm from the Philippines, btw.

this may be a bit late, but still i want to thank all the translators and subbers for all their hard work; big thanks too for the gogumas who share their fanfics, fan MVs, screencaps, and opinions and for keeping this thread "homey" as always -- with all its ups and downs.

and i still can't get over this latest episode. have to watch it before i go to bed and then again when i wake up. addicted much . can't help it though, just love watching yongseo so much!

Guys i want to ask something... again...

When was it when Seohyun was first called "Goddess?" Who called her that? What's the story behind the Goddess Seohyun?

Its a fitting name for her for we know that the year 2010 is Seohyun's year. Last year Seohyun's changes in personality and appearance was so big. Just compare her first video for 2010 and the video of the Maknae Special (She's so beautiful here). Even the MC's had noticed it in the early episodes of YongSeo. I believe that Yonghwa is a big factor to these changes. And I do believe that a good relationship causes positive effects for two people.

Personally, of all SNSD members for me she's the prettiest and most talented and hardworking. Maybe I'm a bit biased coz she's the first SNSD member that I knew because of WGM. But please someone answer my questions please. I'm really curious.

About Banmal song...I'm really happy that FNC finally release the song as a digital single, even only Yong who sing it. I think that because Seo Hyun has already a duet with Chang Min DBSK which is the same management with her, so that imposibble to her to has another duet. And also with the release of Yong version of Banmal Song, it make we have 2 version of Banmal Song right?

i'm Indonesian.. but i grow up in LA *california gurlll*

anyway it's been a while since i last checked this thread and before this i visited allkpop and there's this article about the banmal song... kinda make me sad when i read a sone's comment stating that he's gonna boycott the song since seobb's not in it.. it feels like many ppl have to be re-reminded about the real meaning of the song.. the song is yong's in the first place.. i know we enjoyed watching both of them in wgm writing down the lyric and completing the song, recording it, and ultimately publishing it on youtube for us goguma fans to view... but none of that would happen if yong did not mention about the song when they were at the shrimp restaurant... and yong's initial intention has always been composing the song for seohyun... i'm not saying that mbc and wgm stole that off from yong but i think if i were yong, i'd be pretty upset too... coz it's his song and when someone composed a song, his personal feelings are greatly involved.. i'm kinda saddened when i went thru the comments that ppl osted on that article, so i resorted to this lovely thread and i easily found myself nodding my head while reading some of my fellow goguma fans' opinions regarding this matter.. stay positive gogumasss.. and support both yong and seo no matter whether you're a boice/sone/gogumashipper like me
