About the "Love Light"

Yong said that, he already has the melody of the song for awhile but there is no lyrics yet...

when he started doing WGM with Hyun, that's when he started writing the lyrics.

That basically means that, he was inspired to write the lyrics of the song because of Hyun, right? Because he was thinking of her?

According to j2lee's translation, "Y: It became like…‘Let’s write a song, thinking of you."

And the rap part, he thought about the Genie song that's why "i'm genie for you girl" line is part of the song.

So, does this mean that the WHOLE "Love Light" song was inspired by Hyun? not just the rap part?

Am i correct guys???

u're right! so i guess when they asked yong who Love Light is written for & he answered his 1st love... i guess there's half truth to it. he prolly thought of composing a song based on his 1st love but didn't manage to make any lyrics out of it (i guess his 1st love wasn't as powerful as his encounter with seo joo hyun keekeke). instead, hyun indirectly succeeded in helping him compose Love Light! eiii yong, so are u trying to say that hyun is ur 1st love? this love is different than ur previous ones yong, in fact this love is somewhat a turning point in ur life & that's why u added Light to the Love & thus it became Love Light. yong is in loveeeeeeeeeeeee with hyun

j2dlee, you must have bitten your tongue many times today since many people have been calling out your name. Thank you very very much for the partial translation. I shall never cease "Thanking You" every week even knowing that such words of gratitude wouldn't be enough for all the efforts you put into every episode's translation.

Since June we have been patiently and anxiously waiting for the "story" of THE RING to be told just as how YongHwa said in the radio interview in July 05 that we have to continuously watch WGM to find out. Little did we know that on the same day [29 June 2010] when the story of THE RING was finally unfolded, there was another surprise for us all---

the underlying TRUTH behind the song "Love Light" was likewise revealed.

MC Park: It’s gone quiet after that… something is in the air…they might break into a cold sweat.

H: I have something to ask.

Y: Hmm?

MC Kim: She starts talking.

H: Your song, the ‘Love Light.’

Y: Yes.

H: It’s about first love, right?

Y: Hm, yes, why?

H: I was just curious.

Y: The ‘Love Light?’

H: Yes, I like that song very much.

Y: Then, what?

H: What?

Y: What are you curious about?

MC Kim: I saw it on the internet, that he wrote the song for Seo Hyun.

When they linked arms and Yong~ deemed it awkward, then joined hands... AHHH I literally screamed!!

Hyun: I had to choose… should I look beautiful or should I complete this gift? And, ‘I should complete the gift!’

there is only one word i could define that statement... it's love

yongseo, what a smooth criminal for stealing our hearts this way.

I'm still speechless and will be for the coming days

this episode is one epic of a major proportion

it's one collection of the best moments and it only happened in one day.

I always say that I don't need skinship from them just to believe that they are a 'couple'

those glances are enough to prove the deep emotions they are investing for each other

and this episode is just a confirmation...

now I wonder how the soshi unnies take this event. maybe they knew this beforehand to make them say those words to hyun at the fanmeet, but to know how they reacted seeing the episode is something i'm dying to know.

now I understand why hyun was sooo giggly when she met him on the way to the trip, her excitement is now obviously justified. so was the cool looking yong who seemed to have something up on his sleeves by the way he pulled that 'no-greetings' trick for both their birthdays... really amazing way to start an event.

now I understand the naturalness of finding each other's hands on the chuseok trip, now I understand the eye language with the ueno juri's visit... I'm understanding more...

yongseo are just pure beautiful souls... and their love story is one of the best I've known... because I believe...

so much for my speechlessness

Daebak is the only word I can think of right now.

I cried watching this episode. All the ups and downs we loyal fans of this couple face and watching Yonghwa & Seohyun's progress in WGM, this episode was WORTH ALL MY TIME. I feel like a proud mother watching my daughter/son falling for the other party. Similar to Yonghwa, I was speechless when Seohyun pulled off the gagman stunt and sang Love Light. I think after this episode, Yonghwa went home with a smile on his face.

Yonghwa, I'm truly sorry that I once doubt your love for Seohyun. HAHA! I know better now.

Because of this episode, I ended up not doing anything about my school work.

Gogumas, I watched the episode multiple times today and realised i kept on smiling non-stop. So I challenged myself to watch it one time with a straight, non-smiling face. And guess what? I fail numerous-ly. It can't be helped. This couple is just... *sigh* why are they so perfect? Yonghwa was literally beaming with joy the whole time after receiveing Hyun's gifts. His voice... it became so soft that it melts my heart listening to it.

Seohyun is an awesome girlfriend/wife. For her first time, she did an amazing job surprising her nampyon. Man, I love how these two lovebirds make each other (and us, gogumas) so happy.

Yonghwa was very thoughtful with his gifts. That boy knows how to steal a girl's heart (that is, through her mother).

To uri translators and uploaders and contributors and fellow gogumas, thank you very much for your awesomeness. Half of the fun spazzing on this couple comes from you guys. I cannot thank you guys enough for making Saturdays, every Saturday, a great day for me

I noticed that while watching it too. Seohyun I've always felt like is someone who doesn't speak carelessly. Seohyun is very thoughtful of what she says, which is sometimes why she doesn't respond with a lot of words and when she does it's often after a pause of some kind as she decides what she wants to say. I think she's finally letting her guard down around Yonghwa and the impact of what she was hearing from him basically confirming suspicions that she had (and a lot of other people) about him writing her into the lyrics and it possibly showing that he really does like her got to her.

It kind of broke through her normally reserved and carefully thought out self and she responded immediately and it made her stutter. Maybe nothing ever comes of their relationship outside of WGM, both of them have crazy schedules and we've seen plenty of celebrity couples wind up breaking up because of not being able to meet each other often... But I think the reason why Seohyun joined WGM was to kind of 'grow up' a bit and I think Yonghwa has done that. When we see how their interaction changes over the course of the relationship it's kind of showing Seohyun growing up and being more comfortable at having relationships with the opposite sex.

If you look at Kwonnie/Gain they both knew each other and were joking around and friendly from the start. Nichkhun and Victoria didn't know each other and were joking around and friendly from the start, but Seohyun wasn't comfortable enough to do that.

Now you watch them in the Ueno Juri episodes (or even the Horror special which was a few weeks prior to the Ueno Juri taping) and the transformation is pretty evident.

I have both the current episode and 'Love Light' on repeat. The episode was just the BEST and I can watch it over and over again, I won't get tired. I kinda got annoyed at the MCs when they were guessing what Seohyun had prepared for Yong but their spazzing makes up for it lol. I love how Yong looked at Seohyun with sooo much adoration...and singing the "...beautiful..." line from 'Love Light' to Seohyun. I think the episode really showed how much Yongseo care for each other. Yong won a lot of goguma points by being not only being a thoughtful husband but a thoughtful son-in-law as well. And, for Seohyun...besides stepping out of her box...the interview she gave in the black room about being hesitant to ask Yong about the past again says a lot about how much she cares about Yong's feelings. She's hesitant to dig in the past because she doesn't want Yong to feel uncomfortable like before. They really pay attention to each other. I'm happy that they are more focused on getting to know each other rather than being concern of entertaining the audience.

Seohyun's fanboys will die of jealousy!!!
