I feel half burdened and half excited. I think ‘My Sweet Darling’ will present me with an opportunity to learn a lot,” said Lee Bo-young, who plays In-young in the new KBS TV1 daily series “My Sweet Darling,” which is to premiere Feb. 14. Lee will play a woman who is struggling between love and harsh reality. Her character, In-young, married her elementary school classmate Ki-jun (Kim Seung-soo) after running into him accidentally, but after many conflicts with her mother-in-law over her infertility she faces a divorce.

While playing this serious role can be somewhat burdensome, Lee says she always wanted to try her acting skills in the role of such a charming, realistic and vibrant character. Lee, a former Miss Korea from Daejeon/South Chungcheong Province and a top-3 supermodel, debuted in show business in 2003, and made her name mostly by starring in commercials.
