Spotlighting Girls’ Generation, Kim Hyun Joong and Yoon Shi Yoon had a dance off in Indonesia.

In a recent recording of SBS’ Barefooted Friends, the cast found themselves at a market in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where the members competed against each other to find work from the local shop owners. 



In order to get hired, Kim Hyun Joong and Yoon Shi Yoon began to sing and dance to SNSD’s Gee to impress the fruit store owner’s daughter, brining a lot of laughter from the people around them. 

The winner of the dance battle will be revealed on May 12.

Korean director revealed how selections are done: Yoon Shi Yoon, Lee Byung Hun are not really handsome, but able to give off sparks.

Korean Dramas that created the "Korean Wave" which have been well received by the audience in china. Classical repertoire such as "Dae Jang Geum", "Stairway to Heaven", "I'm sorry, I love you", often send many fans to tears while chasing the dramas. How do they select the beautiful people for the roles? Yesterday, reporters through mail interviewed Korean Creative Director 朴仁铎 ( do not know the english name translation) for Zhejiang Satellite(浙江卫视) TV hit "Happy Noodle”, he revealed that the South Korean TV series when making selection for actors focusing on watching their eyes.

朴仁铎 served as executive producer of "Bread, Love and Dreams", the director of "Winter Sonata". A reporter asked about the difference between China and Korean actors, 朴仁铎 said: "South Korean director at the time of filming, like to tell the actors not to act, but should be natural. They want the actors to give the feeling like is real/natural performances with no the traces of acting; many Chinese actor performing graduate, their acting are great, but I think for life drama, the realness/ being natural is the most important. "

 

朴仁铎 said that many chinese idol dramas, the actress tend to hv more concentrated makeup, "When I came to China, I observed that some actors with whiter makeup above the neck that are too strong, the drama is about life so this kind makeup is not suitable. A lot of Korean dramas, many actress just had a light touch of makeup.

The idol dramas seems to hv attractive men and women, however, 朴仁铎 revealed when they do selection of idol actors in korean, beauty and ugliness is not the most important factor: "For example, Yoon Shi Yoon and Lee Byung Hun is not really very handsome. When selection, being handsome is not the important elements to choose the actors, but it is the eyes. The eyes of the actor must be able to give off sparks ( flirt ) and is the same when selecting actresses. That they are able to quickly impress/ touch the audience, giving off intimacy/friendliness, so as to attract fans."
