Guest KAITOU KID.
When do you use kanji, when do you use hiragana and when do you use katakana when writing or speaking? #1 You can not use any of the three while speaking, rofl Hiragana is the main alphabet, and you can write nearly everything in that. Words can be shortened with kanji, as well as given different meanings for the same word with different kanji (e.g. あつい、 厚い、 熱い all say Atsui; however the first is in hiragana, and you would have to tell what it meant by the context. The second (厚い) means thick, while the third (熱い) means hot.) Katakana is used for like, import-words LOL. What I mean by that is, words more or less 'borrowed' from English and such; like say FOOTBALL (フットボール), SUPERMARKET (スーパー), etc.

YOIとコンピュータで入力すると「好い」は漢字の選択肢の一つとして出てくるし 「好い」は「良い」と意味も読み方も同じだと思うけど語源はどうか知らない。。そういう風に使われるのもあんまり見たことない 方言だからもちろん全く間違ってるかもしれないけどな

You can just say 観光しに行きました Other then that it's good
