I really love Lee Sang-yoon and Choi Ji-woo’s brand of petty bickering in this. It’s an entire drama about adults who don’t know how to act like adults, but because all of the characters are like this, it evens the playing field. Everyone is a little bit hapless but really endearing, none more than Choi Ji-woo, who’s so cute that you totally don’t think it’s weird that someone would be hung up on her for twenty years. Of course, there are probably more mature ways to get a girl’s attention after all that time spent pining, but what would be the fun in that?

Cable channel tvN‘s latest Friday-Saturday evening drama “Twenty Again” started off on a good note.

The first episode of “Twenty Again” that aired on August 28 had the highest ratings ever for a Friday-Saturday drama premiere for the cable channel. The episode had an average rating of 3.8% according to Nielsen Korea, with the highest rating at 5.8%. Its highest rating was also the highest across all channels at the time slot. “Twenty Again” also trended before, during, and after the show on various portal sites.

The new drama stars Choi Ji Woo as a 38 year-old mom who goes back to university to fulfill her dreams. It also stars Lee Sang Yoon as her professor.

I just finished the two episodes and I LOVED it! It was almost heart-breaking to see the shabby way the husband and son treats HNR and how sad she was, and you feel so happy for her when she has that liberating feeling of experiencing college life ...CJW acted so well. And Sang Yoon is totally and absolutely CUTE although he hasn't flashed those dimples in full force yet! I like his half-smiles too.  And the way he looked at her when he found her crying - it's that same love look in his eyes that remind you of Dong Joo.  I'm beginning to like him in this hairstyle...How am I going to wait the whole week for the next two episodes??  Should I just wait for the whole series to air before bingeing on it... No, no I couldn't bear it.  I never wanted time to fly by, but for once I do....

He plays Cha Hyeon-seok in the tvN drama "Twenty Again".

The first and second episode of the drama "Twenty Again" showed him reuniting with Ha No-ra (Choi Ji-woo) his first love. He resented No-ra for not recognizing him right away when they met on campus. He bullied her in his class when she couldn't answer a question of his. He said, "You can leave if you don't want to answer".

However, he couldn't hide his feelings for her. Lee Jin (Park Hyo-joo) complained to him that No-ra was too old to be in her class and he snapped at her, covering for No-ra. Not only that, he mumbled to himself about the things he saw about No-ra and showed that he was worried about her.

He seems cold on the outside but his feelings for No-ra remained the same. Unlike the heavy characters his played in the past, Lee Sang-yoon plays a livelier and comical role.

Lee Sang-yoon is the perfect actor for the role of Cha Hyeon-seok as he relates with the character and is able to blow life into him.

Meanwhile, "Twenty Again" is a story about Ha No-ra who became a mother at the age of 19 and joins college after 20 years.

Most of you here would have watched epi 1 and 2 and thank you for not revealing too much of it.  Altho I have only watched epi 1 raw I understood nothing much of it.  I'm resisting the temptation of watching it and will wait til at least 8 episodes are out before I start the drama chase.  I wonder if I can wait that long especially with all the photos/reviews/Uploads here.  Hehe
