about SIM card transfer to cell phone.

Hey there,

I was just wondering, if I just go out to buy a new phone and slide my old SIM card in the new phone; it will still work the same...right? Or do I have to go to the store/ a place to do something. Please help, thank you.

if your phone is unlocked then yes. but say if you have a tmobile sim card and you bought an ATT phone (that happens sometimes), then it wouldnt work and you'd have to take it to a store that an unlock it.

Well, I'm getting a unlocked cell phone and my cell phone is unlocked, therefore I can just transfer my old SIM card to the new cell phone without using the new SIM card...right?

yeah you can just use your current sim card without getting a new one.

just wondering, what provider is your sim card?

My SIM card provider is At&T.
