I was wondering were everybody left ?? I know a lot changed: no AS comeback and Uee got a boyfriend 

But since her drama Marriage Contract she's been doing a lot of beautiful photoshoot. She seems happier

So lovely to see you around too, @coccinelle! I don't know where everyone is, I guess real life is taking its toll, don't know what else. Have you seen Marriage Contract? What did you think?  I've seen it and also High Society. It's awesome that MC got some high ratings, like in 20 %,  that's good for UIE's acting career. I'm curious what's next for her in the drama world, now that AS hasn't made a comeback yet.
 I'm hoping for a trendy or more comedy filled drama for our girl, remember her comedic outing in Ojakyo Family? She matured a lot also, but I still think comedy is one of her forte when it comes to acting.

And I'm so happy for UIE that she's got such a hot boyfriend!! Whowhooo!!

Yes i have watched MC. She made me cry with her a lot during this drama. She was really good. 

I really can't wait for her next project and I also hope for a comedy ( can't cry anymore ^^)

However I think she had a hard time letting of caracter at the end of MC, plus I heard a rumour she was leaving Pledis. What do you think ?

I was also very surprised when she closed her instagram. Do you think she 's been having a bad feed-back following the news of her relationship with Lee Sang Yoon ?

I didn't hear or read anything about her leaving Pledis, that's news to me. I just hope she knows what's better for her in the long run. Maybe she can join an agency which will promote her better in dramas or even movies? I'm not sure how it works exactly.

Honestly, I'm not very familiar with UIE's bf,  I just vaguely knew him before becoming involved with her, but something tells me he hasn't  so many die hard female fans as something like a k-pop star usually has, so I'm not so worried that UIE is having a bad time because of his female fandom. I don't know why UIE deleted her instagram, but I don't think it's because her bf's crazy fans. Maybe she wants to keep her life more private, but it's in the detriment of her fandom, she already is barely active on facebook or twitter. I think she doesn't even have a twitter handle anymore. Oh well, at least she is having all kinds of photoshoots for magazines and products. I'm happy to see her looking pretty in them. Now fingers crossed for a comedy for our gal here!!

UEE offered leading role in upcoming MBC drama Night Light

Looks like MBC’s upcoming drama Night Light is ready to start casting: The latest news is that the drama production has an offer out to UEE (Marriage Contract) to headline. (As so often is the case, the initial report cited a broadcast source who stated that UEE would take the role, only to be swiftly followed with denials and clarifications from her management that she is only considering it.)

 

Night Light comes to us from writer Han Ji-hoon of Last and Time Between Dog and Wolf (also Temptation, Dr. Jin), and has now attached PD Lee Jae-dong to direct; PD Lee’s prior credits include My Spring Days, I Miss You, and Thank You. The drama is described rather vaguely as a story of a fierce battle between a greed that won’t sleep and shining bright people who strive to become owners of the light. The show purports to reveal the bare face of ambition that is always reaching for ever-higher places and ever-stronger powers. Or, in plain talk: The show is about ambitious people clawing their way to the top.

The role out on offer to UEE is that of a dirt-poor heroine who lost her parents at a young age who is unable to escape poverty, until an incident provides her with the rare opportunity to turn her life around. Okay, not a new setup by any stretch, but the descriptions and producers’ credits suggests that the drama is aiming for a dark, tough sort of story (well, as dark and tough as we get on prime-time broadcast television) with lots of conflict and struggle. It’s the kind of role I can see UEE taking on — hardscrabble, tough-edged — and she’s been upping her acting game, putting in a well-received turn in the weekend melo Marriage Contract earlier this year. I’ll have to see who else gets cast to decide just how excited to get about this, but for now, my interest is piqued.

Night Light is set to follow Woman With a Suitcase, which follows current Monday-Tuesday melodrama Monster, and will premiere in November.
