I'm sorry to hear about your family, but for god's sake, it's a flu! It's not like there is an outbreak of bloody x and everyone is dying. There are no reported cases of death in Japan, and for having over 110000 infected and not even a 100 deaths out of it, it's really nothing serious. Have you even seen stastistical data about flu? The real, usual flu, not the swine one? There are WAY more people infected every year, and there are also cases of death. Even a usual cold can kill person, who has weak immune system, suffers from malnutrition or any other disease. To be honest, swine flu is just a mess louden up by farmaceutical companies and I'm not saying it's not dangerous, but let's stop being paranoid. If you act safe and are careful, nothing's gonna happen. In my country, there were 2 reported cases and guess what? We are not even highly develeped or have high level of medical care, but both people are fine and stable and are just kept bserved in hospital to be release soon.

Also, the virus can travel up to 2 metres in air. There is no possibility viruses reach the boys during the concert, unless they catch it somewhere else. So honestly, I don't see a point in cancelling all the events like japanese do now. Closing collages, schools, kindergarten.. It's a bit paranoid. I know it's better to be safe than sorry, but acing OVERLY safe is also BAD for your organism. If you don't let ANY bacteria's into your organism then yeah, a flu can kill, because your immune system will be unable to react to it. Period.

And it's really not me being biased, because I am meant to go to Osaka con. Because I always put their good before mine. But come on, this pandemia is too infamous for it's real level.

I know right. This thing is blown out of proportion. It looks like Japan is pretty worked up with the fear so the possibility of DBSK canceling the concert is high. Where I live in the US there are many cases but there's no panic whatsoever. People actually don't care too much about it. DBSK members are young and healthy. Chances are even if they catch the flu, they'll recover from it. If they really want to avoid getting the flu, might as well live in seclusion until this is over. People put themselves in risk everyday going out in the public.

You know, they say you can learn the most about a guy from the dog he has - looking at the boys with their dogs through the years, it never ceases to amaze me how true that is.

Let's examine this for a second, shall we?

Jae and Vick: Vick's the big guy. He's the front-and-center, first thing you see. Obviously Jae.

Yunho and Taepung: Truth be told, I really don't know much about Taepung. But, just going on the traditional view of a husky, they look like they're absolute beasts, but they smile and they light up the entire atmosphere. Yunho's always been seen as more of a badass than he is, and he's a huge, HUGE sweetheart. You see him and you imagine him being intimidating, but he's actually pretty humble and - dare I say it - shy.

Minnie and Guppy: I still don't remember what the name of the poor dog is. But I remember that his name means guppy. Minnie said a while back that he got a small dog on purpose, because he wanted it to stand out. And when you look at Changmin, that's really what he's all about. Changmin is all about being more than meets the eye. When you look at a maltese that size, you definitely don't notice it first out of all those huge dogs around it - but when you do some digging, you discover him. And it's like a treat. Minnie's the same way. Changmin tends to become people's favorites when they've been a fan of the group for a longer period of time, because he grows on you. You don't notice everything about him right away - and he shocks you with how deep and complex he is. Which is totally reflected in his dog.

your analysis is very interesting and fun to read. i am a yunho fangirl.....but i love your analysis of changmin's the most. because i somehow felt it is the most accurate. jaejoong is the visual shock member of the group, he brings new fans to the group (he said that once himself too). on the other hand, changmin doesn't talk much, doesn't like to stand out and always defer to his hyungs because he is fully aware of his maknae position in the group (most apparent in korea) and acts it. but like you said, i am also of the opinion that when fans get to know the group better, they discover the gem that is changmin. to quote you, "when you do some digging, you discover him. and it's like a treat. minnie's the same way"

i think changmin is the sort of person that if a fan bothers to invest the time to get to know and understand him, they will be deeply rewarded.

and yunho and huskies just seem so right. both are sweethearts.... :blush:

the jaesu pic from tohomobile and the one from the staff report is just love <33. there's been a lot of jaesu interaction lately. the outburst over the anime songs on the program that was broadcast lately, jae wheeling su arnd and so on. speaking of which, are there any fancams of jae wheeling su during the tsc concert?

them with their dogs were adorable. their dogs seem to have gotten a lot bigger, judging from the pics, compared to last time.

Great to see that junsu's getting better already and that the boys are taking more precaution about their health ><.

I don't want to start an argument about flu on the dbsk thread, but I want to say something before we drop this topic. first off, I don't think the world health organization would raise the alert level of swine flu to a level 5 if this flu was just like any other. it has been found that swine flu is milder than previously thought, however, japan is very concerned that it will spread throughout its population.

even if the mortality rate is low, do you really want dbsk to do a concert in a place with thousands of people that could potentially have the virus? thinking "oh, they'll just recover if they get sick" is pretty thoughtless. having the flu is not fun.
