it was seniors day at my workplace.

whenever i asked the most awkward and "hard-to-not-insult" a senior is a convincing "i do not believe", "are you over 55?", they get all cheerful and say do i look that young? i try to add something like "ohh wow. i thought maybe forty something!" or "no way, you cant even buy alcohol!" it sounds SO corny, just seeing their smile and joyfulness over the usually grump is nice. i hope i made their day with just a few statements like that.
