I share your worries too. Im supportive of their decision to perform in a gay club but im seriously worried that they may suffer backlashes and/or mockery in korea or anywhere else. Anti-gay americans may not like it either. Also I hope the people there will appreciate our girls performance.

yeap me too!

I have no problem with them performing at a gay club but they will be returning to Korea one day and I guess I'm just worried about that and the fact that I think anti's will be having a field day with this.

are any of you guys going to go see them perform at tigerheat? I just saw the news at omonatheydidnt and was really excited. I'm planning to go and see them tomorrow so i can't wait. annnnddd i think fans shouldn't turn their backs/talk bad about them just because they're gonna perform at a gay club. i mean if you're a fan, you should support them.

Yeah, I share the same sentiments. But it looks like for the most part, fans are supportive and excited. Them performing at a gay club will help them tremendously, and I have a feeling they'll be receiving lots of love. A few of my gay friends are already excited and are planning to go. Anyway, like I said, this will put them out there, it happened to Britney and Lady Gaga, it can happen to them. :)

And I think most of the backlash will be about how young they are to be performing at a gay club. Well, Lim, anyway, since Sohee is considered an adult already.

Also adding that the girls might not get "attacked" for doing this. Boa has done it before and she didn't receive much criticism, some people were skeptical, but that's all I recall.

WG always had gay fans, from Perez Hilton to the 'Nobody' camp queens to that excitable black dude in Made in Wonder Girls. :lol:

FYI Heard this afternoon: Mnet Ultimate Live is coming to SG in December. But no WG.

Still, together with the Korea Pop Nite 2010 concert (Oct 23), it will a memorable year-end finale for Kpop fans over here.

I personally would support Wonder Girls performing at the gay bar. homosexuals are people too & it's possible that they could be fans of Wonder Girls too. my respect for Wonder Girls just went up a couple of notches. when these girls said that they loved their fans despite what they looked like or what kind of poeple they were in an interivew some time before they weren't kidding. you go girls! I hope everyone who is attending the event gives WG a lot of support! :D let's hope that Korean Wonderfuls would be just as supportive of this decision. :)

I think WG will focus on China in December. They have already dropped hints to Mainland fans about going there for a series of shows.

But it does look like Asia is again the focus for that month.

WG is getting a lot of media publicity at home with the MIPCOM event, from my search-engine search

The Korean press looks like they will cover the Korean content showcase closely, so the girls' participation are the icing on the cake.

There is discernible pride in the Ultimate Live Thailand concert too (example).

The XinMSN site has uploaded a slideshow of Singapore FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2010.

The list has 3 Kpop artistes: WG (#38); Hyuna (#85); SNSD (#99).

Note: It is very Singapore-centric (half the bunch are in the SG entertainment/media industry). But, wow, Japanese AV porn star Maria Ozawa (#51) too?

I have seen others at Chinese video sites.

The skit is otherwise quite straightforward: one cross-dresser (Di Zhijie, the tallest one), 'Nobody' dance, small talk in exaggerated Korean accents (mainly talking up the show), a couple of inside jokes.
