i just read an article about my favorite min-gu character. looks like he might be staying awhile... because the article talked about how this actor has lost weight and shaved his head to fit the role of a living vegetable [sounds dumb, but makes me cry] -- and how his talents will now be shown through his ability to show emotion in a half-coma state. because min-gu's not unconscious -- the article talked about how his role is going to try and make viewers cry through his unknowing expressions of sadness and disappointment and heartbroken anguish.

all that preparation for the role... the PD can't kill him off quite yet, right?

못하는 은석을 바래다주던 길에 복구는 병원으로부터 걸려온 민구의 위독함을 알리는 전화를 받는다.

복구는 은석을 태운채로 병원으로 향하고 아무말도 없이 은석을 민구의 병실 앞으로 끌어다 놓고 가버린다.

은석은 그곳이 누구의 병실 앞인지 복구가 자신을 왜 끌고 왔는지도 알지 못한채 주저앉아 서럽게 운다.

부산으로 촬영을 떠한 은석은 전복과 미역을 보고 전복을 따다가 돌아가신 엄마를 떠올리며 딸꾹질을

하게 되고 그로인해 촬영은 중단된다.

호텔에서 밤늦게 빠져나가 홀로 밤바다를 바라보며 딸꾹질을 하고 잇는 은석 앞에 뒤따라온 복구가 다가와 서는데..

While Bok-gu is driving Eun-seok home, he recieves a phone call regarding Min-gu's condition. Min-gu, who is plagued by sadness and betrayal [even in his vegetable state] because of accusations that he "loved" Eun-seok for the past five years in order to take her money, cannot control his body and has become severely ill.

Without saying a word, Bok-gu takes Eun-seok to the hospital, drags her to Min-gu's hospital room, and leaves her there.

Eun-seok, who has no idea whose hospital room it is, or why Bok-gu brought her there, falls to the floor and cries.

Eun-seok then leaves for Pusan, where her next movie/drama shoot is taking place. She notices the seafood and seaweed and hiccups uncontrollably as she thinks of her deceased mother. The drama/movie shooting is put on hold.

Eun-seok slips out of her hotel room at night and stares off at the ocean, all the while hiccupping. Bok-gu has followed her outside and slowly gets nearer and nearer...

okay, so does that mean that eun-seok has no idea that min-gu is in that hospital room?! nooooo i really wanted her to find out and make her repent! pfft. i don't like the way the preview is worded.

Yeah, it's kinda oddly worded, but it answered a couple of questions running in my mind. I found it too early for Eun Suk to find out about Min Gu's real condition. It will lessen the impact of Bok Gu's revenge plot on her. So that means she hasn't really found out yet.

Also, that answers the question of why that dreaded 'scene' happened. To cure her hiccups.
