첫방 D-2 '더 유닛', 비부터 태민까지… 멘토 비하인드컷 大방출

 

가수 비부터 샤이니 태민까지 내로라하는 가수들이 오는 28일 첫 방송을 시작하는 KBS 아이돌 리부팅 프로젝트 ‘더 유닛’ 멘토 군단으로 뭉친다.

26일 ‘더 유닛’ 측은 멘토 군단의 촬영 비하인드 사진을 공개했다. 사진 속에는 ‘더 유닛’의 참가자들을 이끌어 갈 선배 군단 6명의 모습이 담겨 있다. 첫 공개녹화 현장에 출근하는 이들의 얼굴에서 ‘더 유닛’의 본격적인 시작을 앞둔 긴장감과 처음 후배들을 만난다는 기대감이 읽힌다. 또 서로 다정하게 손을 잡고 인사하는 멘토들의 모습에서 훈훈함이 느껴진다.

반면 참가자들의 도전을 바라보는 모습은 진중하다. 관계자에 따르면 멘토들은 신중하게 의견을 나누며 참가자들의 가능성을 찾기 위해 노력했다. 또 잠시 주어진 쉬는 시간에도 참가자들의 프로필을 꼼꼼하게 훑어보며 후배들을 평가하는 것이 아니라 응원하고 도와주기 위해 열정을 불태웠다.

비 소속사 레인컴퍼니 측 관계자는 26일 엑스포츠뉴스에 "비 본인이 직접 오는 12월 발매되는 새 앨범 프로듀싱을 진행한다. 태완은 곡 작업 및 녹음을 도와줄 예정"이라고 말했다.

비는 최근 KBS 2TV '더유닛' 녹화 및 새 앨범 작업에 한창이다. 이 가운데 오랜 기간 호흡했던 태완에게 도움을 청했다. 태완은 지난 2008년부터 비와 인연을 맺고 그의 앨범에 적극적으로 참여한 바 있다.

한편 비와 배우 김태희 부부는 지난 25일 득녀했다.

Rain Reacts To Participants Of “The Unit” Congratulating Him On Newborn Baby

 

 

Kim Tae Hee gave birth to a beautiful daughter yesterday, and the participants of KBS’s upcoming idol rebooting show “The Unit” sweetly congratulated Rain on their newborn baby!

 

Rain first shared a clip of the female participants saying, “Time to shine! Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, Rain!” He then wrote as the caption, “A touching message from the members of ‘The Unit.’ I’m getting teary. #Happystagram #Blessed day #I promise I’ll repay everyone by helping these [participants] fly. #’The Unit’ is finally airing its first episode this week.”

 

 

The next clip shows the male participants singing Rain’s song “I Do” before shouting out, “Rain, congratulations on the birth of your princess!” Rain humorously wrote as the caption, “‘The Unit’ part two. Thanks, guys, but it’s a bit gross when you guys do it.”

Rain and Kim Tae-hee welcome a baby girl

 

 

Singer Rain and actor Kim Tae-hee announced the birth of their first child on Wednesday, 10 months after their marriage.

Rain posted a picture of white socks decorated with pink flowers on his Instagram account on Wednesday, with the caption: “Thank you, the baby is a lovely princess. We hope she grows into a helpful person.”

The two stars got married in Bukchon District, central Seoul in January, and Kim’s agency, announced her pregnancy in May.

Rain will be starring in KBS2’s upcoming idol reboot project, “The Unit,” as one of the show’s mentors. The first episode will air on Saturday.

Star Couple Welcome Birth of Baby Girl

Rain posted photos with a short message on Instagram on Wednesday, saying that both the mother and baby are in good condition.

Yet another idol competition show ‘The Unit’ unveiled

 

Fueled by the explosive popularity of Mnet’s competition show “Produce 101,” -- which has produced sensational project K-pop acts I.O.I and Wanna One -- major TV stations have been rushing to roll out similar programs. KBS2, an entertainment channel of one of the country’s largest state-owned terrestrial networks KBS, is preparing to launch a new competition show “The Unit,” which is scheduled to premiere on Saturday.

 

The program boasts a star-studded lineup of mentors. Singer Rain, Hwang Chi-yeol, HyunA, Taemin of SHINee, rapper SanE and Jo Hyun-ah of R&B trio Urban Zakapa will mentor the contestants. Hwang and Jo will be in charge of vocal lessons, while Hwang plans to focus on helping them build self-confidence.

 

Rain, who was not present at Wednesday‘s press conference due to the recent birth of his daughter with actress Kim Tae-hee, had previously said that he decided to appear in the show as he deeply emphasized with the program’s focus on opening a gate for artist wannabes to achieve their dreams, rather than merely ranking their talents.

 

 

“We will try to reflect how contestants grow up and communicate with their mentors, rather than focusing on the voting and evaluation.”

*** On November 6-8 RAIN will leave for Taiwan to appear as a guest on JTBC’s “Carefree Travelers. His flight schedule will be on November 6 KE691 leaving ICN - TPE at 09:00 – arriving at 11:00. Looking forward to this show.   He'll be visiting several places in Taiwan for 3-days.

***  RAIN is showing here the right mentoring..... It says here that - KBS idol reboot project 'The Unit' has broadcasted at 9:15 pm on the 28th. In the meantime, 'The Unit' mentor, RAIN went up directly to the stage where he can be seen dancing with the participant.  There were participants who could not exert their talents on the stage because of the tension and uneasiness that was so overwhelming. In this way, RAIN released their tensions and tried to draw out the talents they had and to check their potential.  In particular, Rain surprised the scene by showing how to be on stage and challenged one participant and went up to the stage directly to check the hidden potential of that participant by showing him the right way to do the wave dance. In addition to the friendly demonstration, he took off the jacket that he was wearing before dancing.

Rain, who has overcome this difficult time before and settled down to the top, is sympathetic to the participants and full of enthusiasm to not miss any small things.
