Hi Hydrogenic, so NICE to see you in this thread. About Cyborg, ye, it's funny but don't really dig it much. IDK but it falls just short to me. It's a rom-com, which falls into the really freaking weird category - hahaha. The vision that the Director presents us with is foreign, so alien to any genre, that my mind is confused. That's why, I find it a little boring. The storyline is simple yet it is something that has never been tried before I guess. The way the film opened was entertaining. The OST is good especially that Yodel song of RAIN. Still, I'm proud of RAIN for taking that kind of role. About the new drama offered to him, it's not confirmed yet if he's taking this.

*** RAIN is supposed to have a digital single release next month, December but, has this pushed back first half of the next year. It will be a full album this time instead. He has scheduled world tours until May of next year, so it would be hard for him to promote his new album in Korea having not enough time with the ongoing world tour right now. At least if it’s next year he could focus on this album release.

Although a few early model selfie sticks were floating around decades before now, they didn't really become all the rage until 2014. This past weekend, entertainer Rain's fans rejoiced in the selfie stick's invention after the mega-star whipped his out in the Australian city of Cairns and posted a picture that did his chiseled good looks justice.

 

Yowza! 

Rain (a.k.a. Jung Ji Hoon) arrived in Queensland by way of Brisbane Airport on November 18, ready to assume his role as ambassador of the state's newest tourism campaign. He was given the warmest of welcomes there by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) chairman Bob East and local Dreamworld celebrity Cinnamon the Koala. Aww!  

“Rain, who has previously visited Queensland as a cast member of the popular Korean reality TV show Running Man," Chairman East explained, "will reacquaint himself with some of the state’s most popular tourism destinations and attractions as part of the new ‘Q-pop’ campaign. This campaign is an innovative way to entice more travelers to experience the best of Queensland. We welcome Rain and look forward to him sharing his experiences with his global followers. We're excited to have him on board."

The Queensland government's Tweet gave everyone a good laugh. LOL

Rain wasted no time getting right to work on photo shoots and CF filming in Brisbane at stunning places like South Bank Parklands and the 8th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT8). Work also included some high-energy land and sea adventures along the Gold Coast, a food run at Eat Street Markets in New South Wales, and even a relaxing round of fishing.

The food he tried out looked deee-lish. Yum!

 

 

The incredibly busy entertainer probably would love to have stayed a lot longer, but duty calls. His current 2015 - 2016 world tour by name of "The Squall" awaits, and, with the first 2 concerts under his belt, he's got to get back in saddle.

Though it "rained" Down Under for nearly a week, Australia's eastern coast looked mighty sunny.

Rain postpones new album release in December due to world tour

R.A.I.N. Company has announced that Rain has postponed his new album release originally scheduled for next month, to sometime in the first half of 2016 instead.

The agency stated on November 26th, “Rain is currently busy with his first world tour in years called ‘The Squall,’ and his busy schedules have led to him deciding to postpone his comeback in Korea. Rain begun his world tour starting with Changsha in Hunan on November 7th, and he will also be performing in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and America. His ‘THE SQUALL 2015-2016 RAIN in SEOUL’ concert from December 11th to 13th at the Jamsil Handball Gymnasium will proceed as usual.”

R.A.I.N. Company added, “Recording for some of the album songs have already been done, and Rain is also busy rehearsing the dance choreography. But the schedules are simply too tight, and it’s unlikely that it can be released before the year is out. We decided on postponing the release, because of our desire to produce a high quality album.”

There is confirmed that Rain will open the shop "After Rain" at K-Town, the upcoming biggest KPOP mall and department store in the world in Thailand. Under concept "Shop & Enjoy" Lots of KPOP star are going to run shops here such as Rain's "After Rain", PSY's "PSY ramen", 2NE1 and BIGBANG. There are going to have a big zone of "K-Fashion', K-Beauty" and "LOTTE DUTY FREE" shop. Grand opening will be held in June 2016.

I think this is what Rain was talking about at the last interview that he is going to be in Thailand at the end of the year.

Azuvilla, thanks for sharing more updates & photos. RAIN is back now in Korea.  BTW, about his get-up departing for Xiamen, it's been a while since the last that I saw him on beanie. I always love him when he's on beanie. And even in Xiamen he still works-out in the gym. That toned body now is to die for....
