Rain and Krystal confirm their feelings for one another on 'My Lovely Girl'

On the latest airing of SBS' 'My Lovely Girl', Rain and Krystal shared a tear-filled kiss after his character's subtle confession of his feelings towards Krystal's character. 

After quitting her job as a pet-sitter, Yoon Se Na (Krystal) finds out that Dalbong the dog has a tumor. She goes to Lee Hyun Wook (Rain) and apologizes for not knowing about Dalbong's disease, asking why he hasn't told her about the tumor. She then walks away to see how Dalbong was doing. However, Lee Hyun Wook stops her and sorrowfully asks, "Can you stay by my side?" 

She comforts Lee Hyun Wook, and the walls between them fall as the two share a sweet kiss, confirming their feelings for one another.

[Drama Review] 'My Lovely Girl' - Episode 7

Hyun Wook and Se Na leave the club. Back at the venue, Hae Yoon gets super jealous as both our heroine and hero are nowhere to be seen. After being sent the music that his former boy band is using for their comeback, Shi Woo demands a different song for his own comeback. Hyun Wook tries to smooth things over with Investor Jang, but gets the runaround from Jang's lackeys. Meanwhile, Hyun Wook's father wines and dines his current wife, who has been trying (and failing) to gather evidence of his infidelity. At ANA, the trainees continue to bully Se Na until they are driven off by Shi Woo. Under the guise of a doctor's visit, Hyun Wook's father goes and meets another woman. A private eye snaps pics of this.

More and more tender moments are spent with Hyun Wook as the episode progresses. Se Na seems accepting, Hyun Wook is conflicted, Hae Yoon gets more and more jealous. Se Na gets some guitar lessons from Hyun Wook, which incenses Hae Yoon when she sees this. Back at the company, Hae Yoon tells her that her actions toward Hyun Wook are inappropriate and she needs to act like a trainee. She walks off, but hears Se Na playing her deceased sister's song. When she confronts Se Na, she finally puts it all together -- Se Na is So Eun's sister, the deceased fiancee that Hyun Wook was so devoted to. Hae Yoon tries to talk about this with Hyun Wook, but she can't bring herself to do this over the phone.

On the train and at the retreat, Se Na addresses Hyun Wook differently and tells him in the neighborhood he's "Ahjussi;" at the company he is "CEO." Shi Woo drops by with a gift, but she refuses to accept it. Hyun Wook sends Shi Woo, who is not supposed to be there, back to Seoul. Hae Yoon tells him he seemed jealous, but he brushes her off. Later that night, Se Na runs into Hyun Wook and he warns her not to date anyone while she's at ANA. She asks him if that includes him and a muscle dances in his cheek...

Is there anything sweeter than a budding romance? And the more Hyun Wook agonizes over it, the more he is drawn to Se Na. She is more than willing to run into his embrace and spend time with him. Never underestimate the power of a determined woman. My question could be turned around, too, where Hae Yoon is concerned: Is there anything more bitter than seeing the object of your affection turn his eye toward someone else? I'm still concerned about her association with Jae Young, the rogue producer who left to form his own company. He is certainly the snake in the Garden of Eden, and it worries me that Hae Yoon's jealousy will tempt her to switch sides and team up with Jae Young, maybe even convincing herself she had the best of intentions. Like the old saying goes, "never underestimate the fury," and all that.

Everyone seems to think that Se Na is Hyun Wook's pet project. And sometimes, it seems like she is. His protests that he sees something in her fall on deaf ears, including mine. I think she stirs something in him, and it's not just her music. I know it bugs him -- he says as much. But he doesn't really turn her out. Instead he takes her in. He walks with her, talks with her, teaches her chords, pushes her songs at ANA. I dunno if it's the way it's filmed or what -- but Hyun Wook and Se Na make a good couple. Far be it for me to push Shi Woo out into the cold, but this episode in particular seemed to pretty well define Hyun Wook and Se Na's relationship; all business at work, personal during days off.

We don't get to see many Shi Woo/Se Na scenes this episode. There's a bit, but we really get more insight into his character through his interactions with Hyun Wook. Hyun Wook's reaction to him at the retreat was intriguing -- does he view Shi Woo as a threat to his relationship with Se Na? Shi Woo keeps making his intentions known, which just forms one more corner of the love triangle.

I can't wait for the next one to get subbed. This is fantastic stuff. Will Hae Yoon succeed in driving a wedge between Se Na and Hyun Wook? Will Shi Woo continue to try to break out of the friend zone? Will he gain the confidence that he needs to debut as a solo artist? Will Hyun Wook be able to run the company the way he wants and still succeed? What are your thoughts?

What a sweet kiss. What a sexy jawline Rain has. Sorry – that was the first thing that sprung to mind for me. She’s So Lovable has been steadily getting better and I’m increasingly enjoying it as the plot progresses. The mainstay for me is the OTP’s burgeoning romantic relationship, which feels unexpectedly organic in its development. Throw in a leading lady who has no qualms being upfront with her man about her feelings and in the process forcing him to be upfront with his feelings…no bulls**t self-denial allowed here. Thank heavens.

I like how SN likes HW. She isn’t shy letting him know how she feels yet she is mindful that he isn’t ready to accept her yet. Thus, she is content to speak in metaphor using Dal Bong. Which is really kinda cute since Dal Bong is such a sweetheart doggie. Rain is just so adorable when he’s acting up with SN that I think the drama could be called He’s So Lovable. But back to SN’s subterfuge-free expression of her feelings and actions – her sincerity shines through and it’s her sincerity that touches HW.

There were a few charged moments and of course, I loved how she forced him into the corner of the sofa to check whether his heart was pounding. It was. She didn’t corner him to seduce him – but to find out whether her feelings for him were being reciprocated. SN may be a little green when it comes to love but she certainly isn’t immature.

I appreciate how she repeatedly calls HW’s bluff until he succumbs – not to her, but to his own heart that knows something special is blossoming between them. And that’s why he asked her to stay. And that’s why he kissed her. He finally admits and recognises she fills the void in his heart that he has been haunting him for the past three years.

SN and HW are drawn together beyond physical attraction though they certainly find each other desirable when it s comes to looks. SN’s life changes because of him; HW starts to live again because of her. They are both lonely and alone, but are not desperate enough to seek just anyone for company. They are kindred spirits that have sought each other through natural selection. There is nothing forced – no one is pushy, no is making emotional demands. They instinctively meet each other’s emotional needs without trying. And that’s true, soulful connection.

That’s why I mentioned earlier this is quite the healing drama in that sense. The chemistry Rain and Krystal share isn’t actor-driven but character-driven. SN and HW are written in such a way that they would eventually gravitate towards each other, even with third parties throwing themselves on them from all directions.

Kim Taewoo sings “Only U” for “My Lovely Girl” OST Part 4

g.o.d’s Kim Taewoo sang "Only U", an OST for the SBS Drama "My Lovely Girl", which stars Rain and f(x)’s Krystal.

The song, which is a medium-paced love song, was composed by Jeon Haesung and written by Choi Jaewoo.

"My Lovely Girl" has been trailing in popularity behind MBC’s "My Spring Days", so perhaps a little star power was brought in to boost ratings? 

In addition to singing the OST, Kim Taewoo also made a cameo as himself on the 8th episode of the drama, which was broadcast on October 9th. In other new, g.o.d will be bringing their 15th anniversary concert to the United States this year

Jung Ji Hoon's new selfie is becoming a hot issue.
October 9th broadcast of SBS drama 'My Lovely Girl' showed Hyun Wook (played by Jung Ji Hoon), Se Na (played by Krystal), and Dal Bong (played by Benji) visiting a park, and Se Na taking a photo of Hyun Wook and Dal Bong.

Many Netizens requested the production team to reveal the photo that was taken in the scene, and on October 11th, the drama's production company released the photo. The photo shows Jung Ji Hoon taking a selfie with Benji.

Jung Ji Hoon and Benji shoot lots of scenes together, and Se Na always tells that Jung Ji Hoon and Ben Ji look very similar with each other.

Last episode showed Dal Bong's health getting exacerbated, but many viewers are showing great reaction for the connection that Dal Bong gives to Hyun Wook and Se Na's relationship.
