Lil OT about this movie, Ha Ji Won asked by Ha Jung Woo too, to join this movie so she agreed. And because she wanted to have partnered with him before.

Now its YEH. This movie surely will be good knowing the 2 ladies asked by the actor himself ^^

I am happy for YEH not only she will be back on big screen, but for her gesture of showing kindness to those who needs her and it only shows she is a person of good personality and integrity.  To accept a film for free is what makes me love her more, she is not just a friend, but someone who gives importance to her friendship to others, she is just an angel.  God bless her and I pray that she will have a project of her own which will bring her back on top and I can feel it will happen soon.  Thank God for YEH.

If I remember correctly, YEH had mentioned before in an interview that she doesn't care if the role offered to her was a second lead as long as its a great/interesting one she'll accept it. It's just that most if not all that were offered to her was a leading role.

Yoon cast in tale of blood merchant

Yoon Eun-hye, 29, has joined the upcoming film “Chronicle of a Blood Merchant,” a film directed by actor and filmmaker Ha Jung-woo, according to film distributor NEW yesterday.

Based on Chinese author Yu Hua’s 1995 novel of the same title, the film follows a man who sells his own blood to make money for his family.

The movie’s production team held the first reading session last month, inviting the main cast members, including actor Ha Ji-won and Ju Jin-mo, who also played a tragic couple in the recently finished MBC drama “Empress Ki.”

As Ha’s film is one of the most anticipated of the season, Yoon’s news sparked considerable attention from local film fans. Yoon is considered one of the most successful actresses who came from a singing background. After starting her career as a teenage member of girl group Baby V.O.X in the late 1990s, she started to work on her acting career in 2006, appearing in the MBC drama “Princess Hours” that same year.

In 2007, she starred in “Coffee Prince” and established herself as a Korean Wave icon. However, Yoon hasn’t had much appeal at the local box office. Her latest film, “My Black Mini Dress,” only managed to draw in 313,953 admissions.

The “Chronicle” team starts filming on Tuesday.
