CL and Jeremy Scott's appearance on Project Runway 3 raises viewer ratings

The 7th episode of Onstyle's "Project Runway Korea 3" was aired on March 12th and featured 2NE1's CL and Jeremy Scott as the guest judges. The viewership rating peaked at 1.643% unlike the average ratings of 1.052% amongst females between 20-34 years old.

For the 7th episode of "Project Runway Korea 3," the participants had the mission of designing CL's stage outfit. CL and Jeremy Scott gave the participants harsh feedback when the participants revealed their designs.

However, a particular contestant took the viewers interest. Former Diva member, Kim Jineun revealed that she was having a difficult time designing for her junior CL and ended up in the bottom three in the episode. She said, "Han Goeun and Kim Taehee are actors so it was okay, but unless it's for Lee Hyori, I don't want to make clothes for any other singers."

"In addition, CL is 10 years my junior. To tell me that I should design her clothes...She's a fun and stylish friend, but the thought 'what can I do for this friend' went through my mind," she confessed. "To be honest, I wanted to give the mission up. My pride was hurt and if I was to end up in the bottom three, I'd rather be eliminated. If anyone had been in my situation, they'd understand."

With the presence of Jeremy Scott, the participants of "Project Runaway Korea 3" were more passionate than ever on their designs, concluding in a very interesting competition in the end.

Avoiding complete elimination from the contest, Kim Jineun said, "This opportunity given to me has allowed me to learn a lot of things as a designer. The show has taught me what I should accept and what I should not. I sacrificed a lot to walk down the path of a fashion designer, and to ask myself why I should make clothes for my junior was foolish. I thought to myself and I'm very disappointed in myself in thinking such a thing."

CL and Jeremy Scott chose Kwon Sunsoo as the winner of "Designing a stage outfit for 2NE1's CL" and gave her high praises for her jacket design "Dragon In Love."

I'm so envious of Dara's flawless skin! Is above photo the latest photo. It seems her finger has recovered. I don't see any more bandage.

2NE1′s manager recalls their unfortunate event in Japan

On March 12th, 2NE1 came back to Korea. The manager who was with 2NE1 that day described the catastrophic event that occurred in Japan.

The members were getting their makeup done at the Tokyo Sibuya Hotel for a live broadcast that evening. After getting her makeup done, Dara went to another room while Minzy, Bom, and CL were still finishing their makeup. All of a sudden, the earthquake occurred. Loud alarm went off, and the building shook and the room turned to complete chaos. We stumbled and our body swayed and we could see from the outside the other buildings were shaking as well from the 31st floor window. The girls and crews were so surprised that they didn’t know what to do. Their manager recalled.

While everyone was in a panic , CL, who was startled herself, reacted quickly, grabbed her cell phone and called Dara and calmed her down. Broadcasters announced on tv that “The tsunami is coming, please prepare for the tsunami!” and they kept repeating it. Fire trucks and alarms were ringing everywhere. After that, by the local staff’s guidance they exited down the stairs.

In the evening of March 11th 2NE1 members gathered together in the same room and they couldn’t sleep because of the earthquake. They stayed up all night and their appearance on Music station which was going to be 2NE1′s first stage in Japan was cancelled.

On the 12th in the afternoon, Haneda airport was like a battlefield. People came from various places clamored in order to get tickets. There were people sitting on the floor in the waiting rooms.

CL was originally scheduled to go back to Korea first because of a recording schedule, but cancelled it so she was able to come back on the same day as the rest of the girls. Up until when their flight took off everyone including the members were still feeling anxious and scared.

The first day of earthquake definitely

is a scary & tormented moment

for the girls and also the people there.

Nontheless,it is thoughtful

of CL leadah to call on DARA

unnie & calmed her down,knowing

that DARA will feel shocked.

On the side note,I do wonder

if YG have any plan B for the girls.

hi there Blackjacks! I'm new to this thread, so please take care of me. :D I've been lurking in this thread for the past weeks..thank you so much for all the updates. I love 2NE1 ever since they debuted. But I have to admit, I've only spent so much time following their activities just recently. Dara is my fave, more because she came from the PHilippines; though I wasn't really crazy about her during her time here. Recently, my friend and I have been watching youtube vids of Dara...even though we are girls, I guess we can say that we are also her "fanboys" now. haha! I'm so glad the girls have come back safely from Japan; and I'm hoping they'd have a chance to debut properly there, in God's time. :)

What CL did is very admirable.. I salute her for not just being an idol group's leader but simply a LEADER and a TRUE FRIEND..

I can't understand why people are hating on her for some shallow reasons..

Anyway.. I want to see the girls happy and care-free again.. I hope they overcome the trauma of the unfortunate event in Japan..
