SYNOPSIS Credit: damifino

• I'm taking a look at the show that is airing during EHB's absence called "Find Mr. Kim." The premise of the show said they were supposed to deliver a package to someone in New Zealand, but they have to do certain missions during this process and if they fail, they have to rough it in their destination which means they get to experience various sightseeing and physical activities that they can only do at their specific destination... except the delivering the package part which they hardly seem to focus on, it's almost exactly like the format for "Nothing is Impossible" on MBC which it is airing against.

just to let you know

actually the episode one was aired on the 10th

so the episode that aired on the 17th was episode two

also as for the hosts its:

Suh Kyung Suk, Alex (Clazziquai), Kim Sung Soo (old hosts) and Moon Hee Jun, Yoon Jong Soo, and Charles (are newly added hosts)

also there are no guests..only hosts

and they deliever packages to the civilians..haha

This is one of my fav shows right now. I like seeing Heejun... He's quite funny. I also like how the guys work as a team to complete the tasks... It's just something different...

i've seen episodes 1 and 2... and to me... it's ok. it reminds me a lot of The Amazing Race, although they're not racing each other or anything.

they have several missions and stuff they have to do in order to find the random person... these missions are quite challenging tho!

this show is way better than Meeting the In-Laws IMO.. but what really matters is what the Koreans think...

it's good seeing Heejun back and it's great knowing that he hasn't lost an ounce of humour after returning from the army!

but omg, he's so white and his lips are so red!! it's sooo noticeable... sorry... lol...

and it's cool hearing Alex speak English once in while to the New Zealanders.

lol with the sheep chasing and the huge ostriches!

It was never a decision between this show and the in-law show, but rather this show and "Change." In the end, SBS decided to go with "Change" as the new show for their Sunday night lineup so the 3 episodes that they aired of "Kim Suh Bang Express" will be the final 3 of this show and no more episodes will be filmed.

SBS based this on the ratings potential for "Change" being better compared to the costs, but seeing as both shows appeared at the same time except the first week, I don't know how they decided on this. The ratings for the Sunday night lineup with just "Kim Suh Bang Express" on 2/11 was 9.6%. The ratings with both "Kim Suh Bang Express" and "Change" on 2/17 and 2/24 was 12.9% and 11.5%, respectively. The ratings with just "Change" on 3/2 was 9.4%.

Yesterday's ratings dip for the SBS lineup probably has to do with MBC showing their new Sunday Night Lineup after canceling "Nothing is Impossible" thus people trying to check out the new show.

According to this article, SBS decided to cancel "Kim Suh Band Express" due to conflicting schedules of the MCs and costs of production... compared to the ratings output, I guess. Also, the show took too long to produce from planning to the filming stage to airing... it took a month. The CP said that as of now the show has been canceled, but it could be back after some tweaking of the concept.
