Surprisingly Epi 1 was interesting and fast pace, looking forward to epi 2 tonight.

The story itself is refreshing and appealing, not the typical k/drama that we are seeing.

The characters are more realistic than "On Air".

孫藝珍池鎮熙《聚光燈》首集收視率8.8%

韓聯社首爾5月15日電以新聞工作者為題材的MBC電視劇《聚光燈》，首集收視率達到8.8%。

收視率調查公司TNS媒體韓國15日稱，孫藝珍和池鎮熙主演的《聚光燈》14日播出的第一集，全國平均收視率達8.8%，取得良好開頭。另一家收視率調查公司AGB尼爾森媒介調查的收視率也達到8.6%。

《聚光燈》首集以電視台社會部事件調查組為背景，生動地展現了記者進行追踪報導的情景。此外，觀眾們還看到電視台在“9點新聞”播出之前的忙碌景象。

有人評價說，該劇真實描述了記者的世界，同時充分錶現出電視劇的樂趣。

在今後的劇情中將講述記者的採訪過程和報社與電視台的矛盾等媒體不為人所知的故事。 （完）

池鎮錫轉型獲得好評

因我來福娛樂訊演員池鎮錫擺脫了本來白面書生的形象，在電視劇‘聚光燈’中為大家展現了另一種不同的，超凡的領導魅力，不只是在韓國，在台灣，香港，東南亞等亞洲其他國家，喜歡池鎮錫的觀眾們都被池鎮錫這種轉型吸引住了。

池鎮錫在14號首映的電視劇‘聚光燈’(劇本李基元/導演金道勳)中飾演社會部的頭兒伍泰錫，獨具魅力的領導能力也是伍泰錫的特點之一。

在劇中，作為社會部的頭兒，為了報導真實，拒絕其他的協商，在這一天因為一個醜惡的時間，池鎮錫初次登場，大發雷霆。

觀眾們更是在播放完之後，在留言板上，留下了這樣的留言“池鎮錫具有領導能力的記者演技是第一流的”，“真是比較像一個記者”，“這是本來的池鎮錫嗎？”，等等，好評不斷。

一方面，這一天首映的電視劇‘聚光燈’的收視率可以算是一個開門紅，根據收視率調查公司TNS Media Korea的調查結果，收視率為8.8%。

actually Spotlight did try to avoid On Air , but they cant find enough drama esp to fill in the gap of two weeks and whatmore , On Air didnt really confirm if they are extending till recently , .Spotlight cant really wait for ON Air decision , so they had no choice . to hit it face on . it is okay , i think the ratings isnt that extremely bad --;; .considering how it is the only one drama that is premering and the rest are already towards the ending , give it till next week to see how it will fare.

i am more concerend with the quality .occupational drama isnt korean drama best ..i hope this will will create some standards ..White Tower was an adaption from japanese novel . but the writer should have gained experience from writing White Tower. right now , at least Spotlight first esp give me a better feeling then On Air first esp ..

LOL - Mr. Core of Power! The more mature character actors and actresses all get to play the apa's, oma's and senior members of the hierarchies. I'll bet they have fun with the younger actors and actresses by saying, "hey, I'm your father again or my your boss again!" :D And, the younger actors' and actresses' reaction would be, "oh no, you're my father or boss again?!!!" :wacko:

^^yup they can be one big family haha ...maybe u can help verify , i really think he is grandpa neo from HGD keke ,it is just certain way he speaks that remind me of some character i must have seem before in a recent drama lol and that brother of reporter seo .. i also find him familar ., by any chance was he in Fantasy Couple ?

i think mr core of power in here .doesnt like the idea of Reporter Oh Tae Suk in the station ?

ratings are not so bad.. it's quite expected since OA only has two episodes left..

it would surely rise next week. let's see how Iljimae fairs..
