the reason for DW to be stubborn bc he doesnt want to accept his fault b4 DC.

hahaha, dont say that YCH dies and her last wish is to see DC and DW together. That's why they stop fighting! That's a lame ending...hahahha i dont want to see that kind of ending. I want DW to lose and begs for forgiveness from DC. What kind of brother and son is that to the Lee's family, not saying a prosecutor hahahah LAME! I want a happy ending drama but definitely DW has to be the most miserable person at the end from regretting what he has done.

At last MH and JH is done nicely Happy for them!

STH deserves the worst punishment in jail without anybody visitting, or maybe just DW and the mother. I dont even want STH to see DW becomes a famous prosecutor when he is in prison cause that's too happy for him seeing his son successful. Both of them should be punished heavily, espeically DW cause he not only betrays DC but also abandons JH. I can undersatnd the shock of the bloodline and stuff that makes him crazy, but what about JH? his only love and the one who stays beside him even when she discovers he is STH's son...he dumps her from the DA office! All he cares is fame and to win DC. I hate him! A person who is good at heart even when angry still have the goodness inside that considers about others...he even punchs DC....i hate him so bad!

About the hatred/revenge, even when DC gives up, STH will never leave DC alone...haha that's for sure. DW is yelling DC to give up on STH, while he knows for sure in the past he couldnt do it either.

Why he always on STH's side whne DC says that your father kidnaps my mother....he thinks STH is an angel or someone innocent????? Ridiculous....he never thinks of 2 sides...only the surface and himself. How can a person like him who takes everything personally become a prosecutor???? What if in the future someone threatens him sth about STH or DW himself...he's probably kill or manipulate others....what a shame!

The best scene from Ep53 is the heart felt words from YCH to her sons. It has very deep meaning.The whole room is very electrifying by her subtle and realistic advice to her sons.LMS really stands out with her professional skill. Not much words needed to bring out the correct emotions to the scene and YJH and SSH complete it with the right touch.Here again is testimony and paramount that all actors involved has to be able to bring the right atmosphere to the particular scene .The PD team should have more of their interactions earlier in their plot for EOE.Pity they were not utilizing to their advantage the pool of talented actors in the earlier episodes focusing instead on one or two characters.

The down side is this episode has the feeling of a rush job.

Thanks for the summary of episode 53 savingwork. there are 3 more episodes after this to fix the set-up done to DC's casino, the MH kidnapping, and all the crimes done by STH. Is there a surprise stint coming by Rebecca? I hate to see DC's mother die. She is still the anchor in the Lee family. Why was there no one protecting DC's car?

I really don't want to see YCH die after all the hard life she had neither DC to die also YCH & DC had a hard life she sacrified her life for her family & as well for DC to his family, he didn't about his life being in danger as long as his family fine..

Finally JH relaised that MH loved her & will do everything for her, it's seems after all he is indeed LKC son, all LKC sons sacrifice their lifes for the one they love DC, MH & even their mother..

the preview seems to bring more pain to DC from his brother DW, I hate to see these two fighting , what DW is doing makes me carzy.. how could he easily forget all the good thing LKC family did to him :fury:

I hate the way DW follows/submit to STH which reminds me of his biological mother OYH in the way she is helpless in front of STH, while YCH is admireable that she went to meet STH face-to-face to save her new-son MH. She is one courageous mother and always have been.

Your welcome tn.serendipity :blush: . The answer the writers seem to imply in regarding to DW behavior is LDW-->SDW=STH. That's how I feel now whenever I look at DW attitude and behavior. He's become heartless, cold and deaf to the Lees words resembling STH even more than ever. It's sad how DW asked DC not to see STH image on his face whenever he looks at him, and not to see LKC image whenever he sees MH (ep 43). But now, even viewers see STH face on DW. DW is plainly acting childishly like a fool.

At this point I don't think a reconciliation is very likely. Unless something really tragic strike, I think LDW is simply refusing to see the truth. What will happen to make him become the 'old' LDW? Hopefully we have a better idea where it will be headed after tomorrow's episode.

BTW, did they wrap up all the shooting? Is MBC going to hold an event where the fans and the casts watched the finale together ?

DW n STH bonding moments (?)

The writers are making STH character too easy to be judged as 100% EVIL. He shows very little if any humanity/sign of goodness. Thus, it weakens the plot how DW continues to blame/not believe DC, while he gives STH the benefit of doubt by calling him to confirm what others are accusing him of committing.

I think everything is so unpredictable now.

I don't think anything major is going to happen to them until Episode #56 (if the writers really going to do something). This is to keep the viewer ratings up. I think if they decides to make someone dies, it will be on the finale to draw in more audience.

I am still keeping my hopes up and rooting for them. I think the story will lose its meaning if DC who sacrifices so much not even getting a decent good life after all this, this will not bringing a positive message to the viewers. But who knows what the writers intend? They seem to flip flop a lot. Maybe they think a tragic ending will bring more impact and makes a more lasting impression.

I'm going to skip alot and get to the main point of what happen so far:

The reason why they are fighting is because they aren't even actually brothers at all! DongChul and DongWook found out they aren't blood brothers but it turn out they are enemies instead because DongWook is the son of the man that killed DongChul's father so now they turn against each other. DongWook being an idiot turn 180 against DC saying he needs to stop doing illegal stuff and for YR blab blab he's gonna bring justice to the problem which he isn't and he got jealous when people that he loves also care for MH

JiHyun is in jail is because of illegal doing of STH and all evidence point to her instead. She was also greedy for power and wealth that's why she's where she is now. She won't be in jail for too long though since MH is out to rescue her.
