I asked myself. Can you forgive all of other charactors for DC after the end of the story?

Have I hurt someone who helped me and been acting like DW in my past?

Now I don't want to be like DW in the future!!

I was very angry so many time while watching EoE, but I have reached feeling forgiveness.

This is just ridiculous. This is not a poignant, "this is where it was always leading too" ending. This is a senseless conclusion, made for shock value only. It's a disservice to the plot line and the fans who have stuck by this story from the beginning.

The last 10 episodes in general felt like someone was only just realizing they needed to start progressing the story, and this ending reflects the awkward, clumsy storytelling that resulted.

I will endeavor to avoid this writers and this PD's work in the future.

I agree with every one of them......what a crock of dookie this turned out to be. Disappointment isn't even close to how I feel. I do feel sorry for most of the actors they are a captive audience to the PDs and the writers. IF I was SSH I would be very angry...but it is nice to see the STH character go the way he did. No wonder some of them left the country Africa and Italy would sound good to me right now if I was them...

poor dong chul. first they gave him a bad haircut, then they killed him the baby is adorable and at least they didn't kill young ran, but still, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!! note to self: never watch an ongoing kdrama, ever again. i'm going to need intensive 'coffee prince' therapy after reading the finale spoilers and seeing the pictures (thanks to luv for those, by the way!).

What comes to your mind when you remember EOE ending? Sad Love Song.

Starring: Kwon Sang Woo (isn’t he SSH best friend?) and Yeon Jung Hoon.

Ending: Another death-by-gun-shot-to-save-a-brother kind of ending… it seems to be the norm . By the way, that brother happens to be none other than DW//sorry I mean actor YJH. What a coincidence, right?Did I forget to mention that KSW died leaving behind a child for his beloved wife to remember him with…Another coincident. ...Sigh no sense of creativity ( the ending not the show)!! That’s why I avoided this drama but in the end I was captured by the potential it had, so I watched it almost religiously ever since BV was over…hehe

As for STH:

I don't' care much about Rebecca; she is just one lunatic person! And yes the one wrong person to miss with.. I've always felt that with Rebecca, STH met his match. Back to STH...the last scene his facial expression was perfect, JMK really captured the emotion of a man who though he was invincible but now still in denial seeing his life flashing before him...a man who thought he was almighty...a man driven by only his self-interest, and struggled his entire life to accumulate fortune ..Just to be abandoned by everyone who once loved him or even tried to. Finally, he realizes that it's over…that he is no longer in control, and left with a peaceful expression?? I wonder if he repented for his sins.

I also must say, that scene was completely freaky. It felt so real...last minute of your life just before you no longer exist!! Death scene like this usually are cheesy for me. But this one was by far the best death scene emotion-wise, you could really feel as if you were in his situation....Are you scared yet!!

I wonder if STH ever truely cared or loved DW as a son. I don’t feel he did!

As for DW:

Being the sensitive and emotional person he is…Yes, I still believe he is not evil, he was just lost and manipulated by the devil…He would never smile happily again like the last scene shows. Not just did he lose his father-figure and brother, but he caused his death!! Not to mention how he behaved towards DC in recent episodes…although I believe DW was struggling deeply inside his heart to show this cold face. I wish the writer allowed DW character more development in the sense of transforming back to the Lees..everyting seems so abrupt. SOmthing to show that Not only DC is good, DW is also good.

What would a person under this situation and with DW personality do?

I’m sure he would kill himself or send himself into exile away from the Lees. He would not have the guts to live on with the guilt; he couldn’t even bear the burden of being STH’s son!

So, yes last scene of DW smiling amongst the Lees, totally unbelievable. Maybe the whole last scene was imaginary as well...

Yeah I did......it really upsets me and took up alot of space on my computer...so I deleted them and won't spend the time burning them. Maybe someday I will get the box sets if they come down to a resonable price. I do love it so if it wasn't for the last few episodes. It to me was the best of the best. I hate really sad if they are bad endings. I guess I will give Cain and Able a try for sad drama and keep watching BOF and the Hateful one can't think of the entire name. I cried so hard at the ending need a dose of BOF to cheer me up. You are great KChild

i don't know what to saw after ep 56. i am disappointed, because the ending is always too cliche, it doesn't make audience happy, and the scriptwriters does it anyway, don't they learn?

i need an explanation of why they wanted the ending this way. yes, this drama started out as intense and actioned pack, but can't it still end up happy with the bad guys dying and good guys alive? why we must kill off the best one.

i just really don't like that, even though it was expected. i also do not like the fact that Grace and Dong Chul got married just as the end was to happen. Yes she will forever be Dong Chul's wife forever, but HE'S DEADDDDDDDD!!! Are you freaking serious or what? either you should have let dong chul be with young ran earlier and had them get married and actually spend some quality time together, or just not let them get married at all. just leave them together as soulmates or something. it would stink to have a husband being dead right after marriage. i'm just too disappointed right now. these scriptwriters really do make me mad.

i think even stopping at ep. 55 would be enough. now i wonder what the ratings will be...prbly not too good.

I’m sorry to say that Love was the problem not the solution in EOE.

*YCH lost her husband to another women because that women JJ couldn’t leave her first love.

*JH was raped because of the excessive love from MH.

*DW was abandoned by JH because she loved him very much that she did not feel he deserves her after what happened to her, also she did not want to burden him with her baby.

*DC sacrificed his life literally (thanks writers for false hope^_^) because of immeasurable love for his family and YR.

*JH loving TH so much that she turned into a female STH in business.

*YCH let DW go to his birth parent, namely STH!!, because she loved him and did not want him to be alone, or feel burdened.

*Then OYH left her birth son DW to her devil husband when he needed her support the most after YCH kicked-him-out (yes she did, sorry). WHY? Because she loved MH so much that she did not want to replace him that easily or fast. (you can also argue that she cared for DW, so she wanted him to stay living the same life as before).

*DW loving DC to the point that he wants to prosecute him if he doesn’t leave Guk/casino/gangster. Doesn’t make sense? Well if you love someone you’d do anything to get them back on the right track, even if it makes you look bad.

*DW feeling for STH as a father-son made him confused.

*DC loving YR too much that he could not leave the casino although he puts his life in danger.

*YR loving DC too much that she became a widow twice.

*Mike loving YR, so wanting to give her all the fortune he could he was led to his death.

*Rebbecca loving her dead unborn baby way too much led to the whole "Just wait STH!!"

*STH loving himself way too much….well you know where that lead him to…hell!!

Finally, the one I hate the most, the reason for this whole tragic ending:

DC loving DW tooooooo much that he could not just tell him why he transported the money!! Leading to misunderstanding and you know the rest…( this is the point were the mess started; it is also the point were the story ended: HK bank) . I hate DC for this,sorry,it's way foolish of him! But he is mere human...at least the ending proved it!

So, are you saying that love is bad?

NO, it’s necessary; else we have people like STH. But if excessive we have people like DC. Neither are healthy.

So, solution please…

Trust

DC and DW know that both love each other. They know how much love their mother have for them, even though she yells at them.

But in the entire DW vs. DC dilemma: both kept asking the other "don't you trust me??" :tears: burst out crying if not SHOCKING someone!!??

Trust PEOPE TRUST!!

And with trust comes expressing feelings and helping each other to solve the problem together. Not one wanting to become a superhero whiles the other wanting to prove his self-worth in life…

i'm not particularly happy about the ending, and yes, i'm the same as most of you, i hate the fact they killed DC.

but more than that, to have YR become a widow twice ? now that's just cruel ...

It is such a long journey. Can't believe the drama is finished. Maybe the writer feels that this ending will be more memorable. I don't know about that but for me, I cannot bear to think about the ending. Feel such heartache to even see the ending scene. Now I am not even considering getting the DVD boxset.
