On MBC‘s “Section TV Entertainment News,” which aired on March 4, a reporter asked Joo Jin Mo if there were any idol groups that are currently active that he found appealing. To this, he replied:

“Visually, I’m drawn to Girls’ Generation, but musically and in terms of charisma, 2NE1 is more appealing.”

Some funny things about Joo Jin Mo that i found on DC :

1. Joo Jin Mo went on "Sunny" VIP Premiere for Kang So Ra, there were many speculations after that whether they were friends, it turns out they were labelmates at that time.

2. Around 2008-2009, they were lots of article linking Lee Seo Kyun and Joo Jin Mo, i'm wondering it's about what.

Ahhh I suddenly remembered Kim Eun Sook sshi's new project.

Writer Kim Eun Sook, who has penned such hits such as “The Heirs,” “Gentleman’s Dignity,” and “Secret Garden,” has revealed the story line for her next drama.

Hwa and Dam Pictures, which will be in charge of producing Kim Eun Sook’s next project, announced on February 18 that the working title of the drama is “Descendants of the Sun.” Centering on people who work at disaster scenes, the story will follow how the leads will slowly open up to each other through sacrifice and consideration amid the desperate situations they encounter. According to the production company, this drama will be a human melodrama of a blockbuster level difficult to be found among Korean dramas.

“Descendants of the Sun” will be co-produced by Hwa and Dam Pictures and Baruson Entertainment. Hwa and Dam Pictures has worked previously with Kim Eun Soon on “Secret Garden,” “Gentleman’s Dignity,” and “The Heirs.” Baruson produced the films “The Good, the Bad, the Weird,” “Mother,” and “The Servant.” ”Descendants of the Sun” will be Baruson’s first drama production.

Kim Eun Sook will be co-writing with writer Kim Won Suk, who penned the drama “The Queen’s Classroom.”

“Descendants of the Sun” will start filming in the latter part of this year at overseas locations, and is expected to air in early 2015 on SBS.

@anjshin~~Thank you for sharing!  WOW! Kim Eun Sook's new drama seems to have so much potential for JJM!!    (However, I think his new project will be a movie)

@anjshin & @QuercusL : Joo Jin Mo is on Kim Eun Sook's special list now it remains whether JJM will accept it or not, there are no news about the casting, it's a big production so maybe they have some financial issues or they are busy looking for some actors... So Ji Sup is also a favorite but i don't think he will accept it because the last time he did a pre-produced drama "Road 1" the drama didn't do well...

In fact, a pre-produced drama never did well ratings-wise : Friend Our Legend, Road 1 to name a few...

I'm not a fan of the premise because i don't know if Kim Eun Sook can pull out a melodrama, but the other writer is the one who did "Queen of Classroom" i didn't watched the drama but from i've read the plot was solid.

@QuercusL: yes dear it has potentials, esp that this will be the first MeloDrama of KES sshi. The synopsis is interesting and this might be another character challenge. And I love how she(writernim) do the love story of the leads, I really hope they will cast adults in this project. Wishful to see JJM oppa in this drama if the heavens will permit.  :-B :-*

@anjshin, sarah.lina, thank you! I think I've seen everything about JJM over the years, but you always find something new and unseen to show! You're great! ><

You know, we've been discussing here the man's acting abilities and what he should chose, a movie or a drama, etc. But as we see from sarah.lina's search statistics, people are mostly interested in him and his partners in bed scenes.   So maybe it's a good idea if he picks as his next project a movie with some steamy hot scenes to boost his popularity, and then he can chose whatever he really wants to do.
