  1. Question-- IHL fans

I have watched a number of Kdramas in last year - got interested after seeing "Secret Garden " on Netflix.

But while I have always enjoyed the background music, really that was it - no attention to the words and how they matched the drama.

Now watching on air drama and joining the forum-- I just took the time to go to YouTube and listen to the song "Two of Us" along with full lyrics in English.

Since the song is so prominent when scenes with HK and JE are shown -- Is the production team being that obvious that the ending is a forgone conclusion that HK and JE end together??

  2. Just finished Episode 21 with full subs - another great episode.

-- At EP 21 approx 7.30 minutes-- discussion between JE HK/YK2  -- HK/YK2 basically says -- I need my memories back -- only in this way I'll be able to end it with you.  YES YES let it be so!

--- As of end EP 21 -- This is the final ending I want for HK.

--- Of course, I know I am taking those words out of the context in which they were said and that she was speaking still as HK/YK2 not as HK. ----- But it was just so great to hear those words.

-- Continue to think about the rest of EP 21 -- so many great scenes.

  3. KUDOS to Lee Gyu Han and his portrayal of BS

Always of course, kudos to writer and production team.

Being new Soompi forum, I expected much of the discussions would focus on the lead characters HK and JE. Not all, but a greater portion then other characters. What I see and applaud is that the BS character has a generated at least as much discussion as the two leads.

I think a lot of the credit (in addition to writers skill) for the amount and divided nature of the discussion about BS shows the great acting abilities of Lee Gyu Han.

I see Viki EP 21 is now at 100% - thank you Viki recap team

  4. I for one really like BS.  Not because I want him with HK, however, it wouldn't bother me if he was, but because I like the fact that at his core he's a good man.  It could be seen in the way he treated YK's grandmother and the way he interacts with others.  I also like the fact that his practice is about helping the little man. I'm sure if he wanted to, he could be at the top of the pack, but money isn't his motivation and nor does he resort to destroying people in court the way HK did get on top of the pack in her field as a corporate lawyer. He's also a very intelligent man...not everyone can pass the bar exam.  Even when he was testing HK's knowledge of the laws, he knew them just as well as she did.  There is a saying that hindsight is 20/20. It's easy to see a situation clearly after it's occurred than when it started.  Reminds me of the musing of HK's mother, being able to look back on her life when she was young, thinking she would never get old. Now that she's old, she can see her mistakes and the type of person she was back then--something she couldn't do when she was younger.  I also like BS' father--a man with a very big heart and doesn't seek to take advantage of others.

No doubt, because he is a good man, BS is going to feel extremely guilty about HK. He's going to play the "if only" torture game that we all do when we're presented with 20/20 hindsight information. What I love about his character is he has a conscience.  I can even understand his hesitation in speaking to HK, YK and their mother; I think the writer did a great job in humanizing his character. Unlike JE, whose idea of love makes no sense to me, I can understand BS' idea of love. He's in love with YK2 and within 48 to 72 hours has discovered that she may not be the person he thought she was--his world has been turned upside down. Now that he has more information, he's doing additional research. There is a mystery: YK who doesn't know she has a sister, a mother who hasn't tried to reach out to her daughter and someone has proclaimed HK dead. He also knows that JE is a man of low moral standards. A man who cheated on his wife and enticed a young woman to leave the country with him. Instead of putting the young woman in her place, he embraced her and tossed his wife aside. Now he's ready to toss aside his sister. I can understand him not wanting HK to be with someone like JE and wanting to always protect her.  He also know that HK carries very deep scars--what caused them, he doesn't know, but she has them.

BS did something that JE told HK he only "thought" about.  BS knew that YK was a fun and bright person. So when he saw YK2 years later isolating herself--very mean to the children, standoffish and angry, he was determined to pull her out of that gloomy interior and yet help her ward off her demons. He wasn't willing to just sit back and think about doing something, he was going to work hard to make it happen. Although he incurred her wrath at times, he didn't care--he liked her and wanted her to return to the bright person she used to be.  JE saw HK spiraling out of control, but did nothing to help change it---he just "thought" about what he "needs" to do. JE came to absolute hate HK. There is no doubt in my mind that if HK had been the same person on his return to Korea, JE would probably be planning his marriage to SR.  BS tried to jog YK2's memory by telling her all the things they used to do in high school.  He sacrificed himself so much for YK2 that she saw him as her protector, her lighthouse.

To be exact:  "Someone who constantly looks at me only, loves only me, is patient with me and waits for me. There is a foolish man to whom it doesn't matter who I used to be. During the most difficult time in my life, he's someone precious to me, who's always been by my side, someone who's like a lighthouse.  Even if I lose my way, even if I lose my direction, so that I won't be adrift, so that I won't be disheartened, he's someone who always protect me."  HK could NEVER say that about JE.  He looked at another woman and didn't make any effort to protect her.

What I love even more about BS is I can see he's tormented. Knowing that he may have to say goodbye to the woman he's loved for 4 years and without a doubt, is his best friend. It's interesting how BS and HK can read each other's expression, body language and knows how they will react to a given situation.

So to say that BS is worse than JE, that is a stretch of the imagination. JE doesn't come close to being the man BS is--however, the writer is working on him.

What I don't like about JE, is everything is on his terms. When HK wasn't meeting his expectations and didn't grieve the way he wanted her to, he wanted her out of his life and began an affair with a young woman who met his terms and did not care one iota how it affected HK. Now that HK has changed to be more like a younger HK, a version of SR, he wants her back. If HK gets her memory back and easily falls into a relationship with JE, then I would see her earlier efforts of fighting for her marriage as pathetic because she will not have required anything of him--especially after the hospital scene and him begging his father. She will have let him drive her to crawling in the mire of humiliation and scorn, begging him and his mistress on her knees for him to grant her the "privilege" of getting back in his favor with no effort on his part.

I don't believe the writer had JE or SR spouting all that nastiness in the first 9 episodes without karma coming back around. JE crying because he wants his favorite toy back, is not redemption to me. No doubt BS is facing a challenging time, but his heart is good and just like most flawed humans, he wants to selfishly hold on to the person he loves a little longer.

@lclarakl thank you for this wonderful analysis.  I'm with you on BS.  I'm waiting for the subs for the second part of his conversation with JE in episode 21.  BS as much as confirmed with JE that the woman they both love is the same person, HG.  The reason he is resisting JE's efforts to confirm the truth and reveal it to YK2 is his fear of YK2 not being able to handle the truth.  He is not avoiding the truth but trying to find the best way to make the reveal.  He said to YK2, that he needed time to look her in the eye and be truthful as she has always been with him(I was so touched by this confession).  IMHO the two men as such contrast- one is considerate of others and is slow to react, while the other is aggressive in his pursuit of what he wants with no consideration of others.

I believe in the 4 years JE was with SR, he was emotionally drained.  Their relationship had reached a plateau and that was why he allowed them to live apart.  When he met YK2 his passion was suddenly ignited the way it did when he pursued HG when they were in school.

@lclarakl -- thought your in depth analysis of both BS and JE was great and reflects how I also see them.
-- Although I would say BS, as lawyer -- all ways gives his best honest effort and truly believes that justice should serve all equally-- but do not see him with the skills to be at the top of his profession.

@elzbth I thought your two line comparison of JE and BS provided an excellent "top level" description of their characters.

  5. @lclarakl -- enjoyed your thought provoking posting on page 227 -- About GN MH background and how HK YK birth and actual parentage is even more complicated and mysterious then it first appeared-- Again the writer is giving us layer upon layer of wide open to interpretation scenes and dialogue.

-- I think HK is the daughter that MH in his nightmare is talking about.  He kidnapped her to use as a threat against her father -- had his past or current lover GN, mother of twins, to keep her until he made a deal with the father.  Father died while discussing deal with MH -- by the time GN went to find YK, Grandmother had already run off and was in hiding.

-- It never made sense that a mother and father would split up twins

-- GN remark about feeling free and liberated as she walked away from the green door -- does not sound like something a young, particularly in Korea 30 years ago (hard enough now in present) unmarried woman with a child to care for would have felt.

  6. Discussion between SR & HK ep21 -- can't wait to see with subs -- but found the recap informative-- agree with all the postings calling SR out as -- crazy, delusional."fatal attraction" character like.

But She this also shows she is strong minded--in a don't even think of messing with me -- way-- I will take your man and you lose all -- Someone (sorry forgot who) made a point that perhaps part of the reason HK was clinging so hard, even to her loss of pride, to hold onto JE was because she did not want to lose to SR.

I see that now --- what a great clash of two strong minded women.

Also, what a great variation on the typical nice girl who is visited by her boyfriends mother, and told to leave him alone, you are not good enough for him, etc --- usually the girl will back off, at least for a short time.  But SR -- she goes into full attack mode.

  7. As we all wait for EP 21 subs and before EP 22 is available - Thought I would mention a theory on future episodes

    Based on

    1. The Hospital scene between HK & JE, where JE basically tells HK that he tried to protect her from going down the wrong path - but you HK -- and then he stops talking
    2. The great acting ability of JJH and his dramatic use of facial expression particularly in the case Episodes 1 - 9 that could be open to re-interpretation.
    3. The writers skill in providing us scenes that our open to various interpretations.

I think that throughout episodes 1 - 9 JE facial expressions-- As an example the pain his face clearly showed as he knelt begging his father to throw HK away-- could if the writer -----------

The writer has built in an opening-- if she wishes to use it -- with proper flashbacks and internal thought monologues of JE to show his true feelings at that moment-- to then show us a NOBLE IDIOT scenario in which JE all did all those hurtful things to push HK away from his family and the company to protect JE from further corrupting her Pure real self, he first saw and loved in her. HIs great love being that strong to give up HK for her own good.

No matter how I think about it, the fact that he slept with SR is hard to overcome-- but if I recall, there have already been postings which doubted that JE SR actually were intimate.

THIS IS JUST A THEORY TO PASS THE TIME AWAITING SUBs

    Viki at 1% all day??

  8. @lclarakl Your post page 223 towards the end you wondered why is it that HK was so determined to cling to JE and their marriage, to the extent that she would basically even ignore his affair with SR and wait till he came back.

Continuing with my thoughts posted on page 217 about HK basic need.

While we do not know 100 percent that her mother and fathers break up was because of her affair- for now I will say it was?

HK thinks her father abandoned her and mother over this one thing -

HK will not let go of her love and marriage, like her father did -- HK feels she will show JE that no matter what, she will always be beside him -- just as she expects that no matter what he will always stand beside her.

Of course this is all conjecture on my part -- but their has to be something so strong in her will that she was willing to put up with his in your face actions -- for now I can only think this fits.  Yes I guess we could say it is her great love and leave it at that --but I think it is more then that.

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

  9. Ref EP 21 recaps provided by all -- look forward to viewing with subs

Ref attack on HK -- I had feared this is how it was going to happen-- my post page 197 about BS and ending with guess on future episodes -- that is, that the attack would take place before BS told HK she is HK, therefore driving BS into heavy guilt.

Wish it didn't, but understand writer keeping the drama and angst at a high interesting level -- she sure keeps my attention

At this point I see BS as indecisive and prone to making - for lack of a better word -- stupid decisions--- but not evil.  He is truly flawed, as are we all to certain extent.

He will now and rightly should suffer extreme guilt over his indecisive actions in not revealing sooner to at least HK what he knew.

  10. HK basic need

@Lmangla Your posting pg 216 discussing people's need to first have their basic needs fulfilled and how it is a driving factor in maintaining a relationship.  Great insightful thoughts.

For HK I Feel her most basic and strongest need is to have someone who will be her rock, her safe and secure dependable harbor in life, --- That is someone that no matter what happens will always stand beside her, no mater whatever other difficulties they may have -- her ROCK, her Safe harbor will always be there.  She does not expect or even need, that person to protect her, she is strong and will protect both of them -- but she does need to have that person stand by her just like stated in the marriage vows-- for better or worse.

I base this base on the following scenes in the drama

--Her strong confident answer to JR -- that all others may leave her but NEVER JE.

-- Her conversation with her mother the morning after having sat in the rain all night waiting for JE to return.  Basically asking how was she  ( GN) was able to go on after her father left her.

-- Sub note -- HK knows that her father left them -- That is he did not stand beside them no matter what -- we know her father never come back to see her --- Of course we know he died when she was 5 -- But did GN tell her, that her father was dead??? Do not recall or scenes or discussion from characters that mentioned this.

What an impact this must have had on the young HK.

When JE knelt in front of his father begging him to throw HK away so he would never see her or think of her agin --- HK Rock turned to dust, her harbor was destroyed by a storm -- She stamped the divorce paper and walked away.

I feel her abruptly turning back from the airport and China was to throw his ring in his face and end her relationship with JE once and for all and on her terms.

  11. @jadecloud your post page 215 -- Great list of possible scenarios leading to HK getting all (per your description of RA) memories back at once-

    -- BS scenario--- Please No

-- TS attempt at murder again -- my thought - it is the most possible - writers use of parallel events.

Next big question-- What does HK do next -

-- I had mentioned in previous post the TS murder attempt as cause -- with her escaping and hiding out at a Temple.  This to give her time to think and re-evaluate her past and present life -- make a plan, then take action.  All without any outside pressure.

-- If not hiding on her own either as described above or just going away alone-
If not -- then who will she turn to for comfort-- for the indescribable pain she is going to surly suffer when her memory comes back.

    -- JE
    --BS
    --GN
--YK - if she has already met her

Her selection of who she will go to for comfort-- will be a critical story point

  12. @lclarakl Your post page 214 -- very in depth, enjoyed.

Towards the end of your post, you basically note, that you hope the writer does not turn the most caring person in the drama evil to make JE look good.

I shar this concern -- think we have enough evil characters to get us through 30 episodes already.

I am going to guess here that you are referring to BS.  He has in my opinion, through EP 20 been the most caring and supportive of HK/YK2.

Hoping the writer, who has so far given us such a great drama, does need to use the second lead goes bad route to add any more angst to the story.  She has already established enough potential plot lines to show us enough angst, that is likely to put our TVs, computers and heads in danger of severe damage.

  13. @jadecloud thanks for pictures and brief on upcoming episodes

My first reaction after reading the brief was --- WHAT !!!!!'

So this is how the writer is going to take the heat off JE

HK JE Happy marriage until ------- HK all gets all hungry for wealth and power

Looks like the writer is going for the HK feeling ---oh I was so bad, no wonder JE treated me so bad -- I must forgive him route --instead of flashback trying to re-write the EP 1-9 history.

Going to have to see how the writer does this -- because I already knew HK was a ruthless power hungry company lawyer -- and still hated how JE ended that marriage, can not see how anything she did will negate or justify his actions.

BUT this is a drama and she sure is keeping my interest

  14. Kdrama IHL theme (s) ????? - just my open thoughts at this point

HK JE -- Major Theme of story --- Is it great love conquers all OR is it cheating will destroy/end even a great love -- Still not sure yet -- Kudos to writer at 20 episodes still hard to figure where we will end up.

IHL Sub themes -- Perhaps a little clearer -- but I could be way off base

HK JE -- Cheating will result in great emotional pain to both husband and wife

JR -- If you marry another you know does not love you -- do not expect years of happiness

TS -- IF you marry for greed -- do not expect years of happiness

GN -- The cost of having an affair while in committed relationship can cause you pain and significantly alter your life

YK -- The difficulty of being a single mother

MH -- A moment of greed can result in a lifetime of guilt

  15. @lclarakl ref your post page 210 enjoyed your views.  Would like to add a little on the last part of your posting and view of the HK JE relationship as toxic.

I addressed in an earlier posting the view I am going to express, but think it goes along with your view, so felt I could address it again briefly.

JE has had 2 significant relationships with women in his life - HK & SR.

Both of these women where young, smart, and innocent (SR was basically innocent at the first view we saw with JE) when their relationship with JE begin.

After having been in long term relationships with JE (HK approx 15 years, SR certainly over 2 years, no matter how you look at it)

At the end of that period in a relationship with JE ---

HK became a high level ruthless unethical company lawyer

SR has become an obsessive, conniving woman.

Many reasons I am sure for this result -- but it is what it is -- this tells me that there is something in JE that does not bring out the best in women.

No big details to support -- only viewing end result.

  16. @my2centsworth your posting on page 209 discussing BS capabilities as a lawyer--- thanks for your post and I agree with your assessment of his abilities as lawyer.

-- BS is clearly the last in class when graduating from school.
--- As we start the Drama we know HK JE are in their mid thirties- so BS is likely also this age -- and just now starting his career as a lawyer - kind of old just to be starting a career in law (highlights his last in class standing)

-- BS is to nice and trusting of human nature to be in the highly competitive cut throat world of law -- particularly with his low skill level as a lawyer.

-- This is why, whenever I discuss BS the lawyer -- I can only use words such as "best effort"' honest, believes in justice for all, try's his best, etc.

BS is a man who is basically good and caring  -- he is better suited for just about any other occupation.

You are right, without HK/YK2 to do the research, drafting of court documents, etc His client list will fall and he would likely be back to a one man office.

Twins patent court case will need HK the lawyer to win -- but now one who depends on her high level of knowledge and not tricks untruths to win. BS would be a great co-chair for the case and learn from HK how to be a smarter, skillful lawyer.

  17. @lmangla your post page 207 further discussing the difficulty the twins ( HK YK) will have in showing they are rightful heirs of their father and his patent.

The false patent transfer took place one day after his death, so that should only support their case that MPS stole the patent----This fact was part of the reason TS was able blackmail MH to get the Vice President position.  TS also discussed as part of his blackmail that MH killed the twins father on the hiking trip.  Not known to TS and MH --- HK overheard the entire conversation.  EP 9 at approximately 21 minutes.

Additional Note ---- BS when trying to help YK grandmother to see if the patent copy she had was worth any money from MPC, he was not smart enough or dig deep enough when researching the issue to realize this fact.  BS was a new lawyer at that time and per his character description graduated in last place.  IMO He helped the grandmother for free and put forth his best honest effort.  Others in The thread have criticized BS for this.

  18. @lmangla your post on page 208 and

1st question as a man does a man need to have his protective instincts fulfilled to be happy in a relationship-- I would say no -- in my teens and early 20s when dating, that was not something that was key in any of my dating relationships. Having married, of course both I and my wife wish to be protective of each other -- if anything, I think we are both happy when that need never arises.  Of course if you lose a child both you and wife would feel that you failed in protecting them.

2nd question -- All people are different and in this drama For JE I do see it as a driving factor and is part of why he is mad -- but of course this is where the lack of communication between HK and JE comes into play.  Had they shared their feelings better, JE would have know that for HK his being near her, not blaming her (not say he did openly, but I can see JR and his mother going after HK) allowing her her time to grieve  in silence is the best protection he could give her -- but they didn't talk and JE could only see his way of grieving was the right way, so yes his protective instinct was  not be fulfilled.

  19. Another POV on the end of HK JE marriage.

I will say up front that clearly the lack of communication between them and the death of their daughter was the point, that finally accelerated the end , with the subsequent cheating by JE that ended the marriage.

But I feel IMO based on what we have been shown in the episodes aired to date (end EP 20), that the marriage was already going downhill.  That JE had already given up, and that his great love was turning into being just OK.  We will only know for sure when/if the writer tells us.

I base above POV on the following scenes as I recall them.  If my recall is totally off base, I will go back over episodes and try to find the actual scene.

-- JE basically talked about having wanted to protect HK from going any further down the wrong path, but was unable to.

--- HK did not became the high level ruthless, unethical company layer Nicknamed the executioner in the short period of time after her daughters death (approximately 18 months??)   If we go on what we heard to date (not seen) her daughter died as a result of a man who felt he was falsely convicted and ruined by HK, who then after release from prison tried to run down and kill HK.

--- This leads me to believe that JE was either unsuccessful in trying to help her from not becoming that type of lawyer, never tried, or who paid no attention as this change in her occurred (he was too busy in his lab and happy not being pressured to join his fathers company, after all MH was happy having HK protect the company.)

-- I think it has been well documented that JE is a person who likes to care for people that he sees as needing protection.

--- After the birth of his daughter, and seeing how HK the lawyer already was (to him that is a person either no longer needing or deserving of his protection),  He then shifted all his love and protection to his daughter and basically gave up on HK.  As part of protecting his daughter he still wanted her to have her mother close.  So while he no longer had the great love he felt for the young innocent HK, he also did not have any great hate for HK.

--With the death of his daughter came the great hate and feeling that the marriage was no longer needed -- no daughter, no marriage, move on to someone who needs his protection -- hello SR.

    SIDE DISCUSSION

What drives this need for JE to protect people that he feels needs his protection?
I think it goes back to his younger days in his family -- A discussion between MH and SH tells us that the discord between him and his father started at a young age (we don't know why, no scenes shown). He may have felt he had no one to protect him and this drives his desire to protect others?

  20. @lmangla I agree to a certain extent with what you posted on page 206 and your discussion about TS and visiting HK mother.  But would like to add that -- he did have something to gain -- SR in discussing HK death basically wonders why TS continued to search for HK if she is dead.  Also, TS could locate no body after the crash.  I think part of his visits to HK mom, is to stay close, to find out if HK has ever made contact with her mother -- he is very sensitive and fearful of HK really being alive after that attempted murder.

  21. I must give full Kudos to the IHL production team and in particular the casting director.

IMO - The choice of JJH to play JE has been a key element in this drama -- only an actor with his level of skill and with his good looks could have pulled off the Miracle (at least to me) that at this point in drama, a number of people (not me) seem to be on board the HK/JE ship.  I am not saying fully on board, but at least have a foot on the ships deck.

As a male, I acknowledge that JJH is a good looking guy.

  22. Weird.... I liked the drama.... But now I noticed that my ardor is gone. I suddenly began to lose interest in the drama... I Wonder why?: I'm afraid that the drama will turn in exemplary tutorial, how to live and how the "right" to do?, or love story drama will turn into a detective novel?; I expected to see  unique story of beautiful love between interesting and strong woman and the worthy man?.......

I don't know what I was expecting..... I feel somehow disappointed....

    P. S. I have not looked 19, 20 episodes... Maybe something will change…..

@tata555 I feel somewhat the same way -- I am still very much excited to see what happens next though.

    HOWEVER,

Based on how HK/YK2 is currently reacting to JE -- that is in Full total blind love -- the tension in the "Love story"  is gone -- At this point it is basically a done deal HK JE great love conquers all.

Think the tension will pick up greatly once HK has her memory back -- then the will HK continue in this great love at all cost for JE or will she not will be back.

Already at this point we have seen her "give up" for lack of better words --- her previously shown disgust that she had for cheaters, and older man who go after young women.  After all she is now In Full love with JE -- and what better example of a cheating husband with a younger woman is there.

  23.

As for throwing SR out the house, I still don't understand why the mother was more upset at SR than she was JE. That doesn't make sense to me. If my daughter died because she was living in another country after her husband divorced her for another woman, and my son-in-law (if I had one) told me to my face that he was choosing SR over my daughter, sorry but I think the writer missed the mark on the mother's reaction.

This mother was in so much pain after her daughter's death that she can't talk and yet she doesn't have any resentment towards JE--her daughter's husband who divorced her for another woman?  I don't think so. The same man that came back into the country with the woman and who she believes is in a solid relationship with that woman? No, again--not likely. I don't know any mother on the top side of this earth would have any sympathy for JE. Maybe if they had divorced without a woman being involved, but not with a woman in the picture.

He was her son-in-law for so many years, that she still cares for him. She was mad at SR because she is noone for her, but JE is part of her family. Still. She maybe hates him for what he did, but he still her daughters beloved husband. And she herself made grave mistakes in the past, so she would be the last to blame JE.

Just to respond to what you said. It doesn't make sense to me because HK's mom is angry at JE's mother and furious at SR. It makes absolutely no sense to me that she's not upset with JE. It could be because of the help he gave HK while she was going to college and helping her pay off debt, it's still extremely unrealistic to me to hate the women instead of hating the man. She has no resentment towards him, while resenting others--JE was the one married to HK.

@lclarakl -- enjoyed reading your posting thoughts

I think the writer is in "full back off mode" from what was shown in episodes 1-9.  The lose of logic of how we would have expected characters to react in newer episodes based on what they experienced in EP 1-9 will likely continue-- I expect that when HK gets her memory back, this will be even more apparent-- not to mention I expect flashback scenes that will negate much of what we saw/felt after watching episodes 1-9.

  24. GS my POV at this point in drama - end episode 20

GS is a man who has "closed down" any compassion, empathy, and feelings of kindness for the adults in the world.

He shins and can be seen as a man with great empathy and compassion only when dealing with children-- which is way his medical career and research is solely focused on children.

I think that From what we now know in this drama -- that his guilt over (at least as he sees it) his brother giving up on his girlfriend of 8 years, to marry JR for her wealth.  JR's wealth which then provided his brother with the financial resources needed to provide his younger brother with a great education.

I think this was seen by the young GS of how corrupt and conniving the adult world is -- this is shown by GS immediately thinking that YK is trying to steal his research. Any other person, based on what we at least see and know, would not have associated that intent with YK based on a few emails and running into a person with same name or looks.  Must of us would have been very curious, but not jump to the conclusion that they are trying to cheat me.

  25. @lmangla Your posting on page 201 --- I agree -- I think the information we now know that HK YK mother and father were not officially married will be very important when it comes to any claims related to the patent that their father had and MH stole.
Not impossible, but difficult, for them to claim that they are his rightful heirs and deserve compensation from the wealth that his patent generates for MPC company.
Let's hope that their father at least had them registered in his family.
