But can you imagine the huge backlash if Mr Queen tried to imply that one of their Joseon king liked men? I think tvN would get sued if they even try to hint at that LMAO.
That's why I think So Yong and Bong Hwan share the soul.
This drama always use the line or scene in the past episode as the reference in the future episode so why would So Bong mentioned about reincarnation, parallel life in the past episode if it wasn't a clue for the future episode?

1)Shin Hye Sun great acting skill as Kim So Yong, Kim So Yong with Bong Hwan's soul and Kim So Yong and Bong Hwa kind of merged personalities. You can see the different of the three characters here because of Shin Hye Sun's brilliant performance with each characters.
2)Kim Jung Hyun great acting skill as a man who distrust his wife at first to a man that crazily in love with his wife. You can see from the little detail that Kim Jung Hyun portrayed like the way he looks at her, the sound of his voice when he speak/call her and also the way he touch/caress her hand/face.
3)Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun daebak chemistry!!!
And of course this drama's script. Although their relationship here is the slow burn type of romance, but it feel so swoony and great because it develop at a good pace and it give chances to both of Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun characters to shine whether in a funny or an intense scenes.

To be honest the second male lead here is more delusional than the second female lead that it is so ridiculous.
Hwa Jin has a more reasonable reason why she upset and angry about the king affection to queen although she lied to him that she was his savior. At the beginning, the king said that he doesn't has any feeling towards the queen and she is also his trusted person. I means at least the king and Hwa Jin are in a relationship before he fallen for his queen even it was based on lie.
But for Byung In? So Yong totally rejected him before the she married the king and now after she get married she draw the line again so why Byung In become so delusional?

Actually in my experience of watching Korean romance drama whether in historical time or modern time, usually it is the second female lead that turn into the villain.
While for the second male lead, whether at the beginning he is the jerk type of guy or already sweet type of guy, he will be so sweet and become a knight in the shining armor for the main female lead. He sacrificed everything and some second male lead especially in Korean historical romance drama even died while protecting the main female lead.
That's where the term "second lead syndrome" for Korean drama come from. But the second male lead here really annoyed me because he is soo delusional just like the second female lead.

Cheol Jong go to So Bong after realized she was the one that help him at the royal banquet and then help her to her room. She probably confess that she was worried about him or whatever while she was lying down. Actually that person was Cheol Jong and he feel so touched and you know what happen next.
