I want to put down my thought on the coming episode in next week.
1. From the preview and the ending of ep 30, HK is asking BS to help her to leave JE, and in this episode 30, HK and BS is clearly deliver a message to her mom and his dad separately that they will find another house to live, and HK got 50 billion from TS for compensation, so she will buy a new apartment on her own, and there is high possibility that BS will move in to that apartment and live with together with HK, and that will be much more convince to JE that HK is no longer love him and let him leave her.
2. But on that other hand, JE will not give up HK that easy this time, and as before he smelt that HK is hiding something and planning something and he realized that what HK now doing is inconsistent to her character before amnesia, so he is suspected that she might not really lost her 4 years memories and kept following on her.
3. As in the end of episode 29, JE ask the secretary to find out who send the fax information about her daughter's murder, then he found that SR was doing all these in the back, so SR received a second warning from JE, and I am expecting another warning - red card to take her out of his life forever - it means he will no more taking care, treasure her as haobae.
4. Of course, I wont leave out our cute couple, KS and YK, as KS already promised WJ to be good to YK, so I believe there should have some cute scene in next episode as well.
IHAL fighting! You team really did a great job and I was completely addict to this drama, and I would say this is the first time I was so addict to a 50 episodes drama!!!

Why must Writer Bae get so realistic on me NOW? I've accepted and worked along with her on more than a few highly unlikely things, for the sake of the drama's story line. Did anyone else see a reason for Hae gang to "say goodbye" to JE? A little jail time would be a fatal impediment to their love? Doesn't make any sense to me. Isn't she simply fearing the worst? Not having faith in herself --- in her own moral and ethical values and worth? Not even to mention the legal skills she brings to everything she does professionally. This is my thought, why HK has to make a decision to leave JE on part of her plan.
This is the way how she protect JE, even before their divorce she let him stayed out of his family business and live in his paradise without touching any dirts on his hand, and let him leave comfortable. If she doesn't leave JE, remember JE always emphasis that he will not leave HK this time no matter what and he will do everything together with her, if he kept this promise, then which mean JE will fight against TS together with HK and she just don't want to, HK want to protect him and stay out of this war and danger, otherwise, at the end, we don't know what JE will do if he really want to protect HK from TS, he might hurt or even go to jail. You know that HK now has her full memory she know TS is a very dangerous person and will do everything to protect himself and his position in CNP. So, she has to leave JE in order to let him stay away from that dangerous person.
You see, HK ask TS to make him out of his current position - president of R&D, and let him get back to work in the research lab, so she purposely want him live in peace and comfort, so that nobody can harm him like before.
Also, if she did not leave JE and still stay together, it cannot convince JR and TS that she really lost those 4 years memory where she has fall in love with JE again, and they have an impression that HK should hatred JE and take revenge on him once her memory come back, so I guess HK has no choice but to leave JE in order to have her plan move on.
Not sure, whether they will be reunion or not, but that will only happen when HK gave all her justice and get ride of TS from CNP first.

Based on this conversation, I really feel that HK is a good nature person even before 2011, the similar conversation has happened before her amnesia, HK told SR to back out and let them solve their problem by themselves, and telling her that she is just wasting her time if she doing do, she should find her own self and own life instead of delusion on this so call "LOVE" from JE. To me, HK is giving a warning to SR with good intension, but SR is just totally an evil person to me, she is shameless, immoral, guiltiness, sneaky and hopeless, how she purposely call BS here and let him hear their conversation and reveal the true nature of HK and make BS hate HK, the way she did to HK is too much, I really hope that she got punishment at the end not just losing her so love but become miserable. But so far, I really want her to lose her creditability on her foster family, school, and reveal what she has done before to the public, this is to comfort our viewer, because this character is so annoying and hateful to exist in this drama.

You know I was thinking oh today is JE birthday, probably he will get a birthday punch from HK instead of birthday cake before I watched these two episodes after she regain all her memories.
But I just want to say I really love these two episodes, just like riding a roller coaster, keep doing it writernim, I really love your scripts and the story twist just great.

- At the core, MH and HG both believe that JE is smart but does not have enough guile to defeat MTS, which makes sense since JE did not work in CYP in 2011 and although JE is smart, HG is smarter and she has more control over her emotions.
- Folks other reasons?
HG is much more familiar with TS and JR, she worked with them over years before 2011, so I think she predict every move they take, but JE is too naïve to handle them, before he want to work in the lab and stay away this dirty things, and will be exposed himself to TS and fight directly with TS.
As MH said before, it is much save to stay behind the shooter to avoid in order to avoid it, but JE just don't know how to do it, he will plausible to mess up their plan. JE is smart but he needs more training before he can handle this sneaky thing.
And mostly, if eventually they all need to go to jail, at least JE is stay out of it and still can run CNP by himself. So, I think MH and HK to keep JE out of the plan is to protect him and CNP as well.

Me either, HK 2.0 = YK2, and HK 3.0 is YK2 + HK1.0,, so it is very interesting indeed, but HK3.0 only shows her warmth to BS only, and she will team up BS to protect her twin sister YK, but I am sure JE will be soon found out that HK is pretending, and he will join the team as well, you know we cant leave out Sherlock Holm here.
But in the next two episodes I think we will see how our JE put this salt to melt this ice Queen.

I know she is faking that she lost those 4 years memory, otherwise, in the beginning of ep 29 she went to Chairman Choi's house, which meant she still have those 4 years memory, but I think she already have planned to protect her twin sister YK and want to reveal all the truth and justice.
Now HK made TS and JR believe that all her memory come back, and hate JE so much and want to take revenge on JE, he asked TS to give the position of R&D president to take over JE position, this is all out of love as she knows that once she is on the position, it will much more easier for her to gather all the evident on the side effect of pudoxin, and she want JE to stay out of this as HK clearly that JE will be in danger if he get involved of this, so HK is doing this out of love.
And I think she is very smart, she made a plan in a very short time after she regain all her memory But I also suspect that Chairman Choi's is supporting what she is doing because he want to redeem himself for his wrongdoing. As Chairman Choi's told his wife (miss Korea) that she will see change a lot in future in this episode.

In the preview, BS come to HK and introduce himself and said "Let's start all over again", and she told SR that you can have that man It means she totally give up JE and put an end on it
But in the preview, H K move out to a new apartment and JE came there and looking for her, JE is not ready to give up

At the end, HK told JE that even she cant remember BS, but from the way he look and hear him cry, she know that BS may love her, and she told JE that she want a new start in her life and ask JE to stay out from her life. This is exactly what JE told HK before when he wanted his life back.

This is really what I am waiting for, I really want to see JE suffered as what he did to HK those 3 months before they get divorced in the first 9 episodes, I know they may reunion at the end, but let him to easy to have HK back, he give up her too easy before.
As I remember JE told SR that he wont let HK go even if the old HK come back, I need to see how he do it this time, so I really want to see HK may seeking way to find her justice but be cold to JE and ignore him at least for a few episodes, I want to see him really suffered and still finding way to protect and help HK, which he never did that before, then this is the only way he can redeem himself for his wrongdoing to HK.

But I think those 4 years which BS has implant the memory to HK and made her change her personality purposely, and that probably is still there. But I wonder what will be percentage of left for YK2 in new HK version, it is really hard to tell. My guess for this new personality is 70% old HK and 30% of YK2. I am really excited on how the writer to unfold the story.

I'm not into the love story, so it's hard for me to see JE's actions outside of self gratification. The fact he went from one woman to another with it tickled his fancy doesn't impress me. Maybe if the writer had him break up officially with SR a long time ago, it would be different; he didn't. It was after he developed feelings for YK2 that he wanted out--the same way he did HK. No different.
I absolutely agree to disagree.
To me, up to now, I still not convince JE is sole loved to HK, to me he is just a jerk, until he pursuit another woman, he just wont let go the woman he has on hand, I don't care whether he has any physical relationship with SR, but I strongly believe they have from what I what I perceived in the first few episodes, he definitely slept with her before HK committed suicide.
I agree it wont take that long he doesn't love her and should keep a distant to her and tell her frankly and break up, but he did it only he was attracted by YK2 and decided to go for her.
To me, I still cannot forgive JE, sorry to those JE fans, but this character is really a jerk, actually I expect what he should break up with SR very soon after they arrived USA and not waited until 4 years, and make everyone think that they are couple and will get married soon. He is the one who bring the wrong perception to everyone, and turn SR to become more evil.
PS I never think SR is an innocent girl, an innocent girl wont seduce a married man.

B- Will she feel that BS was using her, by hiding her identity so that he could remake her and could always have her.
OR
C - Somewhere in between A & B
HK is shown as an intelligent strong woman-- so I will trust her judgment when she states it. But reserve the right to defend BS in future episodes, before we hear (if ever) HK with full memory thoughts on her 4 years in BS household.
HOWEVER -- I must also ADD, that I will not be surprised if HK with full memory does at first turn harsh on BS in an effort to distance/protect him from the hell and brimstone she is about rain on CNP. As I hope HK3 (HK With full memory) will be a person who would continue to try to protect others.
Actually I think HK is always tried to protect someone she loved.
1. HK 1.0
I think eventhough she is a cold lawyer, and she did everything to win the case, this is the way she protected the company CNP, that's is to protect choi's family and her loved one JE - her husband, I think what she did is just out of her love to JE, but I don't think she ever really did any illegal thing herself because she knows the law very well and she will follow the law code.
2. HK 2.0
Since she is brain wash by BS, she became a justice fighter and protect the weakness, she will fight against CNP
3. HK 3.0
I think her personality still the same, she will protect her loved one also, but right now, she regained all her memories, I believed she will not easily to forgive JE and SR, TS, and I believed she take the move and get her revenge from the look at the end of episode 28 and the preview of ep 29.
In fact, I am really looking forward on how writer unfold the story, and whether the spell that BS cast on HK is still valid after her real personality wake up, if it is still valid that it is gonna be very interesting, as we still there is two HK 1.0 and HK 2.0 co-exist in her, and she gonna to mix it up and deal with this conflict within herself.

I also agreed BS deserved a loved one in this drama, but I have a different perspective of that girl - YK friend. If I am not mistaken, she is the one convince YK to go to Headquarter to report his boss harassment on her and she will stand out to become a witness but in fact she turn back on YK, and YK is being tortured and isolated after then.
I really hope there is another woman come out and can comfort BS, but I think it is unlikely as I think the budget of the drama is tight and they cannot afford to hire another actress in this drama due to low rating.

I think subbing this show is also not very popular. I've started following the Korean to English subbers on viki and many of them haven't subbed IHAL in months or are busy subbing other dramas. It seems like there is a very small number of active subbers for this show. So sad :(.
I always wonder why the rating of this drama is so low in Korea, but my guess is the following reasons:
1. The habit of watching
I think those sampling group of people have their habit of watching their own favorite channel, so that's why you can see the other channels are so easy to get a high rating and popular in Korea.
2.The theme of this drama
I think weekend drama usually is a family drama, and watched by the whole family, and I think they will choose the lighter topic drama rather than adultery drama.
The first 9 episodes is so real and so painful to watch, Even though as a viewer, I was so heartbreaking the way JE treat HK, not just because his cheating, is the way how he hurt her, how harsh he was and do whatever just to dump her, the script and the superb acting of KHJ and JJH made it so real, I would say too real to watch. This definitely is not suitable for a whole family to watch.
As most of us watch K drama is help us to escape from reality and having fun, so you can those romcom can get hit easier if the story is good, so I don't surprise the rating can not get higher.

They schedule to air the 8 news at 22:30 after the baseball match, and then IHAL will air after the news at 22:55p.m. KST.

you quote one of the best scene I loved in this episode 30, I clearly see HK is struggled within herself to not showing her feelings to JE, I think if there is a mirror where JE can see her facial expression when he backhug her, JE definitely that HK did try to suppress her feelings and her amnesia is faking, oh, I just love these two actors, their acting is so excellent and make me into their story and feelings.
