Especially the assassins scene in episode 1, they want the pd to re-edit those scenes. What's the point of casting JH who practiced hard for those stunts but we can't see it clearly right? But i still love the sword scene at the beginning of ep 3. As long as the story holds its points right now, i don't want to complain to much. The pd is so awesome in bright and scenery scenes but when it comes to dark, it's a bit too dark.

That pipe must have reminded Ji An of the childhood trauma when she was hiding and there was a man with a pipe. I don't think she could believe Jung Hoo would hurt someone like that, that man was clearly no match for someone like Jung Hoo so why would he dirty fight with a bat? Moon Ho will know this too. But the police are going to be led to believe that he was the culprit, just like his Dad was blamed.
That scene in the coffee shop, when she runs after Jung Hoo and they hug and comes back and kisses her, was awesome! The looks on her father and his friend's face, was so cute.
The love between these two is so believable, honest and touching. I LOVE THIS DRAMA. :x :x :x -

Just watched first 2 episodes. I am enjoying it. This is my universal shout out about the recent video tricks used during marshal arts scenes. I suppose time is money, and it takes a long time to choreograph and rehearse the really beautiful sword fight ballet scenes, so now, they use camera tricks, jumping from point to point, and in this show they are practically in total darkness, so you can hardly make out what they were doing. grrrrrr, this is getting me crazy. Jang Hyuk is such a great fighter on these scenes, it makes me want to scream. So I am venting!!!! X( X( ~X( ~X(

@NRGchick said: Has this question been addressed? I am curious now as to why Myung Hee got married to Moon Shik? Was it at a weak moment?
It is strange that she was married to Young Shin's dad (whose name slips me at this moment) then something bad happened in 1992 and poof! She ends up marrying Moon Shik.
Did I miss anything from earlier episodes? -

Really beautifully done I think. The director/writer/actors got 15 just right. =D>
Its interesting that some viewers feel YS is cold compared to JH. Actually up until the big kiss, I think jh was colder and she was lustier. Now in the after glow of the big night, she is a bit more reserved, perhaps a tad shy. She has given herself to this man, where is this all going? so she needs, I think, to get her bearings. But knowing YS - it will be full steam ahead! ;
The producers and writer also don't want to make this sex centered, it is supposed to be more romantic, and needs to maintain some innocence. So we don't want the leading lady hanging all over the guy like flypaper!
You know you are in KDrama land when the romantic lead principals wake up the morning after fully dressed. (at least on broadcast channels)

HOW DID YOU ENTER MY FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE
WHY ARE YOU WEARING MY CLOTHES?? -
Seriously, to digress a bit from slipping down the sexy slope of this thread, I wanted to comment on the use of hands again. This time to show contempt not love. We have seen and sighed and squealed at the sensuousness of Jung Hoo and Young Shin holding and touching fingers and hands. But in the last couple of episodes we saw Myung Hee pulling her hand away from Moon Shik's touch, and Young Jae refusing to shake Moon Shik's hand. But then, during the publicity interview for Moon Shik's campaign, it appears that Myung Hee has overcome her revulsion, and she accepts his loving embrace and smiles for the pictures. The writer is consistent with her themes in this drama, which draws all these different story lines together so well.

Teacher got killed and it was a devastating and heartbreaking moment for JH. I'm deeply moved by JH’s reactions throughout it all - the shock, confusion, fear, blind rage and eventual aceptance that his teacher indeed died.
What really gets my attention is the way JH starts to barge into the morgue with a menacing single-minded goal to see Teacher, coldly beating down the poor doctors who get in his way and MH who later tries to stop him....it was so disturbing to watch but it was also the HOTTEST AND SEXIEST i've ever seen him. I was like OH NO SO SAD but OMG HE LOOKS SO DISTURBINGLY HOT....i'm sure i wasn't supposed to feel this way regarding this scene :\">

OK, THE BIG QUESTION IS
WILL JUNG HOO and YOUNG SHIN BE VIRGINS BY THE END OF EPISODE 16? :ar!
I know, this is a KDRAMA, but even in My Lovely Kim Sam Soon they do the dirty before they marry. And as her Dad says, Young Shin lacks patience and she already cannot resist getting into his clothes and his bed! > -

Myung Hee found Moon Shik's secret room. What does he have in there? She will ultimately be the key to bringing Moon Shik down. ~:>

When in the flashback scene with ahjumma and her husband is about to finish for about 2 seconds...there this guy who comes in and looks just like healer by the clothes....he enters the washroom probably?!? Could it be teacher? His face didnt look like it...I don't know if I am just over imaginative... but I really felt maybe has got sth to do with how ahjumma met the healer in teacher...

I find it so very impressive and miraculous that you have so much total knowledge of what everyone is saying about this particular scene and their judgement on the swordplay. Clearly you know everything just about everything in the world, so very nice of you to allow me to have an opinion despite your omniscience about such matters. I would like very much to enjoy this show for all the wonder it has to offer and I am always hopeful a really good fight scene (from my own artistic pov) will materialize. Thanks for sharing with me your great knowledge and insight. ^^ ^^ ^^ maddymappo said: Just watched first 2 episodes. I am enjoying it.
