    ! I stayed out for some days and thought "It's okay, It will be easier to catch up now that the drama is over" but no, this thread is alive (and moving faster) as ever! Not that I'm complaining tho :D:D:D

    But can someone sum up the news for me please? I heard about a movie?  Are IU's and LJG still teasing us endlessly? 

    I can't move on.........

    The first verse is what Hae Soo would like to say to Wang So to comfort him, and the second verse is about Hae Soo. In fact, the second verse was the first verse, but the director liked the verse about Wang So more, so that part was included in the episodes. 

    IU's most favorite part of the lyrics is "handful." This is because even though Wang So is a prince, all that was ever allowed to him was just a handful of things. Only a handful of sunshine, a handful of friends. She wrote this song hoping that it would comfort the poor 4th prince, so she likes the "handful" part the most. 

     

     

    Indeed, the 4th prince was allowed only a handful of happiness that didn't even last very long. IU seems to have understood that early on during the production of this show to write this song. The reason why I was appalled by the previous translation of this song was because the emphasis on the "handful" part was gone.

There is political turmoil in South Korea right now and that pretty much put everything on halt for major productions... the director had been avoiding our contact saying he was too tired, but the last 3 eps didn't show much reediting, so we know he was just lying...

    wow you guys are too harsh :P

    I completely respect your right to be sad and disappointed with the ending and, of course, to complain here. 

    But since I'm really sensitive to extremely criticism towards the cast and crew of any drama, I'll take my leave for now and come back later when things have calmed down (hopefully) 

    Anyway, thanks for the recaps and everything until now everyone. Even with so many flaws this drama has definitely become one of my favorites and is all thanks to the fandom :D

    I agree! It was bittersweet at most. It felt real because even though they can't be together, their love was real and there's even a daughter as a proof of it.  Endings like this make me anxious, but are also the types of endings that stick with me the most... just like 5 centimeters per second as an example.

    But it was SO POPULAR overseas.. seeing how many dramas are made that not even reach a 5% mark and aren't popular overseas either.. making a SHR season two is a much better bet imo ( but it won't happen:tears:)

    Neither I, but people were already complaining that just seeing them in the future wouldn't be enough, so either way, there would be complainings and hate. In the end, the biggest problem of Moon Lovers was time... we didn't have time for everything we wanted.

    I guess it was to let So know there is a proof of their love alive and well... I found the baby plot very sweet :)

    We NEED a special more than anything else now. I'm not mad at how the drama ended, but I still wanna see them in the future ( hopefully a full hour of it)

    Also, this ending gave me strong vibes that they did plan for a season 2,  HS hair change, new Ji Mong, she wake up in her bed and not in the lake... it seems like even her future was changed....  but with the low ratings in Korea it  won't happen and maybe that's why they omitted Future!Wang So? To not give people hope for a season 2...?

    Ah I like it. Could it have been better? Yes. 

    If So had appeared would be great 

    But people would be complaining that Future!Wang So and Hae Soo didn't have enough screen time

    People would complain that  Goryeo!Wang So and Future!Wang So didn't aren't the same person.. and so on and on aka people would complain no matter what they choose to do.

    With the little time they have .. maybe this is the best way to ending.

    I suddenly found a petition for SHR to have a season 2 wow

    For good or for bad this drama is really having a great buzz 

    Well, I don't petitions will do much, but I'm in for a second season where SoSoo doesn't need to suffer like hell

    Also, I'm pretty sure we're gonna get just a few minutes of them in the future so...........
